Hey Thanks. I finished 12-2, my strongest season yet. One more win and I am in the money. I got Inman for Benjamin in this morning's waiver too. The Chiefs defense has been playing very well since Justin Houston returned, especially when playing at home. I have Kelce, and am a bit worried about the temperature for that game. It is supposed to be around, or just below 15 degree (with only a light wind). I heard them say on the local news they thought it would be the third coldest Chiefs game (at least at Arrowhead) ever. I'd think that would hit the WRs the hardest. Does that help the TEs? Either way, Walker is a strong play, unless you have another stud TE.

I don't know what is going on with Miami. Matt Moore is an unknown quantity, and who knows how it will effect Landry. The Jets have been horrible, and I could see the game plan be to feed Ajayi a ton and throw in some short passes (Landry) and screens to mix it up. I would equally believe 3 catches for 28 yards and 7 catches for 120 versus the Jets. I am strongly considering dropping Kelvin Benjamin for Dontrelle Inmann (SD; playing Oakland at home, then Cleveland on the road) or Marquise Lee (Jags; not a great matchup against Houston on the road, but then a very good matchup against Tenessee at home next week).

Either TE is a good play. I would play Adams over Benjamin. Until Cam and Benjamin get on the same page, they can't be trusted. I am sitting him. He has looked dispirited the last few times I have seen him. I don't know if the problem is that he is hurt, frustrated w Cam, demoralized about the team's records, or what, but he looks like he is just going through the motions. Playoffs this week? Mine start next week.

I think starting Winston would be fine; I prefer him a bit to Luck, even though most pundits rank Luck higher this week. NO has been abysmal against the pass and I think Mike Evans is going to have a career day. WR: Play Cooks. Watkins or Benjamin is about the same. Either could hit 100 yards, or end up with 3 catches for 35 yards. I think the tie-breaker here is how you feel about starting Bills. TE: See above. How do you feel about starting a TE playing against the Bills? I would start Walker. Even against the Broncos he will get his shots. He has been a big part of the TEN offense. Green needs another week or performing for me to trust him over Walker. --------------- RB: Howard, Rawls, then Ingram. Not Riddick WR: Williams. This kid is going to be a star in the league in a year or two. I like Moncrief over Sammy this week, but would sit him in favor of Rawls

Who is your favorite player on current roster?

Favorite player: Kyle Williams Favorite person: Goodwin -
The Bills should acquire Cutler.

If ever there was a move that screamed "more of the same" it would be this. That said, I agree he would be great veteran backup if he is willing to transition to that role. He always struck me as a more mature JP Losman. -
Don't overthink it. Brady and Ben are great starts. Kaep is promising, and could end up running like crazy some week, but there is a better chance of the other two have monster games. I picked up Kaepernick too, as a backup to Ryan. They both have very good matchups weeks 15 and 16 for the playoffs. I would start Murray for sure and either Hightower or Coleman. I favor Hightower because Coleman has only rushed for 9 yards on 8 carries since October and the Chiefs defense has really been playing well with Justin Houston back in the line up. That said, Coleman looks like he will be a much better play in week 15 (when I assume your playoffs start) at home against 32nd ranked SF, instead of Hightower on the road against #1 Arizona. I hope you didn't start Asiata!

I would play Winston, but think Palmer is also going to have a good game. Either is a much better choice than Tyrod, who is too hit or miss to bet on with your other options. Locks: Hyde, Gordon, Evans, OBJ Flex: Ingram I too have Kelvin Benjamin. I think he could be monster if he got on the same page as Newton, but he is hot and cold as well. I am sitting him against the seahawks in favor of Brandon Marshall (vs. Indi) and Gore (at Jets) I had Bennett but dropped him (I have Kelce too). I hate trying to figure out the Pats. My guess is Bennett blocks more this game against the Rams. Then again, I am not crazy about Ertz. I would probably start Bennett thinking it is likely either will get you somewhere around 5-8 points, but it is more likely Bennett will explode for a big game. Defense: Hard call between Phili and the Dolphins, both on the road. I would go with the Dolphins and their winning streak. Pressure by the offense really helps a defense, and I see that coming more from the Dolphins O than the Bengals without AJ Green. Good luck!

Week 13 Predictions: Bills at Raiders
Matt in KC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
27 Raiders 23 Bills Bills end the game in FG range, a missed PAT costing them a chance in overtime. That said, how awesome would it be in the Bills stomped the Raiders on the road? -
Let's see the range of the Bills' fanbase.

how many yards will AJ Green get on this defense?
Matt in KC replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My fantasy football team is having a charmed season, and I am playing a team starting AJ next week, so I am not too worried. In this circumstance, I expect either just 80-90 yards with one TD, or just over 100 yards without a score. If not for the my team's FF magic, I would expect somewhere around 8-10 catches, 150 yards, and 1-2 TDs. Yes, this is better than any WR has done against the Bills this year, but AJ is a beast, better than any WR we have faced, and we really miss A Williams. The saving grace may well be the bye week and extra planning to stop him. -
I expect this to happen in the next 5 years. Identifying, reporting, and suspending NFL players for weed does nothing for the NFL. They are spending time and money to tarnish the image of the league. I think the average Joe thinks NFL players get caught using drugs all of the time. This is an opportunity to take a large portion of these headlines away. The only counter-argument I can think of is that the NFL, in not specifying what drugs were identified, is using weed as a cover, leaving fans to be unsure if the league is being too harsh (suspecting weed) when they might come away instead thinking players were often trying to cheat (steroids, HGH) otherwise. What portion of drug violations in the NFL do you think is due to THC detection?

Over - Under - TT Passing yards tonight
Matt in KC replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with 170 yards, and for an over/under I would set it at 1.5 passing TDs. He might well have a rushing TD as well. -
And for the record, I am not concerned about winning tonight, mostly just sharing. The academic questing is what do you think is the likely difference between McCoy and MG tonight if all repotrs are that McCoy looks and feels good, and is going to start?
-
I enjoy the discussion too. I need (informal fantasy football support group) help making the right choice for tonight. I am one point behind going into tonight's game against a team that has played its full team already. I have one RB left to play, and have McCoy and Gillislee both on my roster. The third tie-breaker in my league for the playoffs is points scored (after record and head-to-head). I want to play McCoy if all signs are he is healthy, eager to play, and of course actually active. But that is crazy, right? Note: MG has scored 2 fantasy points or less three week this year, including against Miami two weeks ago. . . . .

Week 9 predictions: Bills at Seahawks on MNF
Matt in KC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills 19 Seahawks 17 -
Too late to help, but I would say my preference is: 1. Landry - he has struggled, but I think he is a good bet this week against an awful Jets pass defense. My guess is he gets 100 yards and re-establishes himself as a real player in FF 2. Adams - I think this is a high-scoring game. But playing at home I could imaging the Pack taking a big lead and laying off the long throws. With Moncrief and TY Hilton healthy, who knows. This could just be a shoot-out 3. Robinson - the KC pass defense is suspect, but I think the JAC offense is more suspect! 4. Enunwa
-
Citing three individual plays means absolutely nothing. The Bills have the 5th best Red zone offense in the league so far this year. That throw to Bush was very close to a TD. There was nothing wrong with that play call other than you preferring something else. I would have thrown or have Taylor run it in from 5 yards out if I was calling the play.
-
Great move. With Williams hurt, I don't see anything to complain about, at all. They can always cut him again if another better option is found. Low/no risk, high reward.

Tate in concussion protocol and Bush hurt his groin

Any chance we can petition to have our bye week moved up? -
I would probably play: Adams - This could turn into a shoot-out in Atlanta Stewart - I know Arizona is tough, but they are at least in Carolina and the Panthers are coming off a week of rest. I think Stewart is the safest for points, but likely has a lower ceiling. Enunwa - It sounds like Joe Hadan and Jamar Taylor (starting CBs) are both going to play for the Browns. I would start Enunwa over Stewart if it turns out Haden is playing but not Taylor, as Enunwa would likely turn into the primary target for Fitzpatrick
-
I don't think the Bills will trade for Torrey, but I would really like the statement this would make that ownership is committed to winning now (or next year).
-
I agree, that was about the most one-sided game I have ever seen without the Pats as the winning team for the first 3 quarters or so until the Jags showed a little life. I thought Henry looked great at RB rushing around end for TEN. I think he is going to be a factor in FF next year and beyond, even though he is trapped under Murray. My opponent is starting Brees this week, so hopefully you made a bad decision. I would definitely start Miller and Forte. Stewart is strong flex play.
-
Did you play Hurns? He put up solid numbers eventually after a horrible initial showing by the Jaguars. (Did you watch it?)
-
1. Either one, I would say; it is close. If I had to choose, I would probably pick Luck, who has has real problems with his protection this year, but is facing a Chiefs team with only 8 sacks through 6 games this year. 2. I would start Gilleslee. I don't think Shady is going to play. Hurns has a tough match-up @TEN 3. M. Thomas been consistently good recently. In .5 PPR I'd be tempted to go with Thomas, but against Seattle? Hmm... His 18 targets the last 2 games is much better than Maclin's 8. It's hard to say what is up with Maclin this year, but I have a feeling it will be a good game for him. That's about all I have to go on. Sorry, I know that is basically worthless. He has been under-performing but is still a favorite target in the offense that just hasn't been passing much. Both are ahead of Howard in my mind. I think I would pick Maclin.
