It is my understanding that unless you have a pre-arranged agreement with the bank to pay off the difference you can't do a short sale. The only way to qualify for a short sale without paying off the difference is if you have been missing payments and can prove financial hardship to the bank. I'm no expert on the subject, I just recall a conversation a few months ago and that's the way I interperted it.

Yes, a very smart and articulate guy, like I said before we're not buddy buddy by any stretch of the imagination we just happen to have several mutual friends and I've had the chance to chat with him here and there.

Simon I don't doubt the Cowher story one bit, however I grew up with Tomlin, and while I'm not going to tell you we were the best of friends we have several mutual friends that ran in the same circle. Him being hired by the Steelers was just as much of a surprise to him as it was to us. If the Rooneys had him pinned from the get go than fine, but it was surprise to him and from what I've heard other coaches around the league.
