  1. Correct you are VABills, I saw that article after I posted. That's a great anology jarthur31.
  2. Coach Gibbs is looking for a good attitude and character. Appears that he's getting a belly full of these Hurricanes and their antics. They really need a CB and Antrell Rolle should be available here. I doubt very highly that Gibbs would want to deal with another 'Cane. The 'Skins will be on the move. They wouldn't have traded all those picks (including next year's #1) just to get a 1st rd pick at #25 anyways. Who are they going to approach? tick tock tick tock tick tock
  3. With all this talk of teams low balling us, maybe this trade is not such a bad idea afterall. We wouldn't even have to take Edwards, we could a trade down with someone else. I'd rather have Edwards though. "Like sand through an hourglass, so are the days of our lives".
  4. I didn't want to trade Clements, I'd rather resign him. BUT if he is just going to be a FA after this season and we get compensated NOTHING, then it's time to get a fair return on our investment. I made all kinds of trade scenarios, but the responses are rather negative, so I won't make one now. The only point that I want to make about trading (reguardless who it is) is there can be many variations that can be spun from it. It's time to get us some draft pick(s) and/or veteran player(s).
  5. Look, I don't want to argue. A modest draft pick to me is a 3rd or 4th rder, depending on where it's at in the rd. The "other garbage" would be used to move us forward a little bit more. I won't be responding to this thread after this. This is obviousley a terrible idea and post. Have a good day.
  6. Would trading Josh Reed for a draft pick be outrageous? There is nothing wrong with trading if you get a fair return. If Josh Reed is more important on the team than another prospect, than I'm all for it. Are we satisfied with having our first pick coming in the last third of the 2nd rd? This whole message board is for entertainment purposes, I'm not trying to incite anyone. The speculating is a blast and it only really comes around once a year. I hope everyone is having as much fun as me this year, wondering what our team is going to do. Bottom line, I wish the Bills the best of luck in the upcoming draft and year. Enjoy tomorrow everybody! With the 55th pick, the Buffalo Bills select..............?
  7. I'd ship fatty for the right price. Why not? PS Who is JPera?
  8. With the TO and FredX debacle, I'm sure a WR would be a consideration. Up until TO, Philly never did risk too much for a WR. Maybe we could package him with some other garbage for a modest to good draft pick. I think it would also save about a half of million in cap space.
  9. This isn't the only draft. Forgive me for wanting a post season apperance. Is one play-off game asking for too much?
  10. With KC getting Surtain, I would think that it would make CB Ronde Barber even more of asset. Let's try to get something done with this baggage called Henry. If Barber san be secured for a reasonable value I say GET ER DONE!
  11. Who is the best player in the draft? Braylon is, that's who. So why settle for anything less? Here's something to think about. The Titans are in desparate need for a CB and they hold the #6 pick overall. Good-bye Nate. Tampa needs a RB and Henry wants out. I pronounce you man and wife. CB Ronde Barber is in a contract dispute and now Buffalo needs a CB. Ronde, how do you like your wings, hot or mil Buffalo is without a 1st rd pick this year, but you know what they say, there's always next year. Hello San Fran, how would you like to only move down four slots and get another 1st rd pick AND a 2nd rd pick? Bottom line; Last year Buffalo invested a 1st rd pick in this year's draft. I say defer the payment. CB Nate Clements could very well not be a Buffalo Bill next year. Ronde Barber is a pro bowler. Trade Henry to Tampa for Barber. Position filled. Instead of having our 1st pick come in the 2nd rd have it be the 1st pick overall. Trade our 2nd rd (#55) pick this year and our 1st rd pick next year to San Fran with the #6 pick that we get from the Titans for Clements. We won't have to worry about Moulds replacement or his contract next year now will we? Just something to think about. Have a good day.
  12. I wonder who the two calls were from. Did he say? If it was anyone with credentials, then do you think they would call a radio show and tip their hand a day and a half BEFORE the draft?
  13. He's a better ST'er. Although he played well, Surtain is a better CB. Nothing wrong with improvement. I'd like to feel a little more comfortable about the future of our secondary too. Right now CB Nate Clements' future is undetermined. Signing a CB this year will be cheaper than signing one next year. The question I posted is " Should Buffalo and Miami hammer out a trade?". What do you think- yes or no?
  14. Hey if we had to toss them a 7th rd pick then let's do it. Donahoe's late rd picks usually suck anyways. Hey guys, I surely don't know all the nuances of trades, but I do know that this draft can't conclude soon enough because I need some sleep!
  15. If Buffalo isn't fairly compensated with at least a decent 3rd rd pick or better yet a 2nd rd pick, then maybe a trade of a different kind can still benefit us. I don't think at this time that anybody involved in Buffalo wants Henry to remain on the roster. If a draft pick can't be worked out then maybe a player for player trade can be lucrative. Here's athought. Miami is looking to trade CB Patrick Surtain and it's time for the Bills to boot Henry. They help us and we help them and when we play each other twice a year we can thank each other. We would actually get the better of this deal just in the aspect that Miami won't be able to pass or run on us. With Clements unresolved and McGee being better suited to play ST and the nickel package, we would have a shut down secondary. Both Miami and Buffalo are looking for a 2nd rd pick for their players. Walla! It should be cheaper to secure a CB this year then next's. Don't think that this could be done so easily with Clements this year. He's close to completing his contract and I'm sure he is going to want to test the market for compensation, reguardless if he stays in Buffalo. Keep in mind that with Surtain he's real familiar with this division and it's offenses. Who knows, maybe Moulds and him can kiss and make up. Would you want Surtain opposite Clements?
  16. Here's my call; Edge to Tampa. Alexander to Philly. Henry to Arizona. I won't get into the compensations, it's too numerous. This is only projecting the bottom lines.
  17. He's a guy that every coach would want to go to war with. or A relentless workaholic.
  18. Geez, that's a hard decision. I'd be happy with either C Jason Brown or DE Bill Swancutt.
  19. You got to be kidding me! What now with these two diabolical maniacs. They are spinning out of control. This has GOT to be about Woodson. Does anybody doubt this?
  20. As always, hindsight is 20/20. Looking at what the Raiders have accomplished in this off-season/pre draft, I'm starting to think that this was the draft to be doing all the trading in. Should Buffalo cash in a blue chip player too? I wasn't for it before but seeing the possibilities of parlaying one player in several scenarios of improvement makes me wonder if this would be more beneficial to the future of this club. There are two ways to look at things. Either the glass is half empty or it's half full. This draft was viewed as just a few clear cut picks, after that the talent is supposed to be similar. Look, what is done is done but when you consider that Denver traded down from the 25th slot and got paid a pretty penny then you have to also consider the price we paid for Losman. It seems like we could have been compensated nicely for our former 1st rd (#20) pick this year. I know, the damage is done and we have our (hopefully) starting QB for a very long time. For this fact and with the recent frenzy in trading I'm hoping that Donahoe delutes, or should I say, minimize the loss of our 1st rd pick this year. Should Henry be the only player on the block? If not, who should be considered dispensible? Remember, we don't neccasarily have to have their replacement already on the roster. One more thing, this NOT a trumpet call for CB Nate Clements. Either we act soon or forever hold our peace, time is running out.
  21. Roland signed with the Rams. Look out AFC West, here comes da Raidars!
  22. Not a problem. I don't know how to post a link or a quote as far as that goes (maybe someone can be kind enough to show me). Go to Phins.com, then pull up news wire. Enjoy!
  23. It looks like the Dolphins will be trading with the Vikings. The cost will be both 1st rders (#7 & #18) and a mid rd pick. It's not for certain but this talk is picking up momentum. Another Miami deal that should happen during the draft is CB Patrick Surtain for KC's 2nd rd pick. This is nothing unheard of but the hold up is based on CB Carlos Rogers being picked before KC's pick at #15. You are never going to guess who could jump in the TH sweepstakes. That's right, Miami. If coach Nick Saban chooses to go another way with the #2 pick, and it looks like he will, then the chance of Henry landing in Miami will be renewed. Of course Tampa and Arizona trades are still alive. Philly, oh Philly, they are looking to move up in the 1st rd to address concerns at the WR and defensive line spot. Cincinatti (#17) and Dallas (#20) are two likely targets. Man, this is going to be one heck of a draft!
