  1. I'm sorry. Where's the prediction about the Dow losing 17% of its value from August 08 to September 09? Or is that an implied prediction, as in, your predictions are always 100% right in retrospect. You never disappoint. Are we still on schedule for the bank holiday before the Chargers game? Are we over the 200 day moving average yet? No, you're not a narcissist at all!
  2. Bell is hidden well in the stunt lineman plays. His athleticism and footwork are nice. If you get him out in space, he's fast and can bury a linebacker or even a lineman because he'll have a head of steam and is agile enough to cut guys off from the point of attack. It's great to see and with the other guys out there with him, it was like watching Denver's lines for the last decade. But, and it's a big but, his strength is questionable. He will get owned a few times a game on a bull rush (as was seen last night on what might have been one of the worst lineman plays ever). If Trent does a straight drop and wants to look downfield to the WRs, he better have a tight end or RB there to back up Bell. The penalties were bad but I am willing to give him a pass in game 1. If he's drawing 4 penalties a game in game 4, it will be a problem (he got flagged for 4 penalties, remember, because one was declined because he gave up the sack).
  3. More Internet muscles. Go TP a house and catch a bullet for your troubles. If I see a bunch of guys running around my house passing near all my windows at night, I'm not going outside to give them a sophomoric wedgie.
  4. Any takers for dumb douche? Or master prognosticator? A few more hours in the day Dwight--if you're lucky, this could be my Dewey beats Truman post.
  5. Almost 500 yards surrendered is not a good game by any defense. Having surrendered 500 yards, they were fortunate to only give up 25 points. You cannot say otherwise. And you can't ignore the last 5 minutes either. Losing Poz made a difference and the defense did not play well. Looking back, the Bills defense got worse as the game wore on and I was not left with much optimism about the defense.
  6. Almost 2:1 in offensive yards. 2 ST fumbles. 17 points on offense. Another NOT.
  7. What game were you watching? Bills gave up almost 500 yards of offense, most of it in quarters 2-4. The defense had a few stops and the Pats helped with drops. Game was closer to a 25 point Pats win than you think.
  8. Pats drove all over defense in passing game. And that despite missed FG and several dropped passes. If I was Fewell, I'd be worried. Offense was better than we're all used to and thus we're all happy but take a reality check. Offense scored 17 points and had less than 300 yards. Special teams even before 2nd McKelvin fumble was not good. That should temper the moral victory.
  9. If he broke it in the same place, that's very serious.
  10. Jackson was the better RB last year too. Lynch gives his entire heart and body to his every run but for such a strong guy, he dances behind the line too much. They will make a good 1-2 punch. I hope #1 is Jackson.
  11. More regulation needed of course.
  12. Jaws and Gruden sound too much alike. I thought it was Gruden making those comments. Still, they were right.
  13. He'd just thrown the ball. There was no whistle yet. They called him for going at Trent's knees and it was a bad (but fortunate) call.
  14. Bell had 1 more penalty than Peters. And unlike Peters, he's fast as hell out there. Hopefully he can get some 'roid access and bulk up because he's got really skinny arms for a lineman. Whitner was his usual over-cocky self but he at least made a few plays. Whitner's game was OK, no better. I'd give him a B for the night. McKelvin's 2 fumbles are worrisome. You will now see people ripping at the ball right and left because he's suddenly got a rep. I look forward to seeing how AVP/Trent will adapt--teams are going to be ready for screens from now on. And I'm not sure if the line can pull off long enough pass protection for downfield routes. Last night, Trent did a great job of getting rid of the ball fast. I wonder what will happen if he gets a 7 step drop and holds the ball for a bit.
  15. Jackson is not the kick returner. Did you watch last season?
  16. These people don't know what they're saying. Here's how to get the pepperoni you're talking about. Buy a good stick or pepperoni. None of that pre-cut paper thin crap. Cut it into whatever thickness slices you want. Put those in the frying pan with just a little butter or non-stick crap. The pepperoni will curl and crisp up a bit. Drop that on the pizza before you cook it. Perfect pepperoni. Step 3 is what most restaurants don't do, do you just get warm roni.
  17. Tom, Nice work on the proofs of God and all. Mind if I take a stab at some spiritual conclusions? (1) God hates the Bills (2) God hates me. (3) I and other Bills fans lead awful prior lives and this is hell. (4) There is no God. (5) I am one of the people in the Matrix who is programmed to live the sh------- tortured life. My offer of proof is the body of work of the Buffalo Bills. Q.E.D.
  18. Sadly, this loss probably isn't even top 10.
  19. I don't blame McKelvin for coming out of the end zone--he couldn't be sure if downing it would be called a safety because his momentum was borderline. I blame him for fighting for that extra 2 feet. Go down douchnozzle. The Bills come up with new and creative ways to tear out my soul. I had zero expectations going into the game. They made me believe. Then they tore out my heart. This is being a Bills fan.
  20. I typed it after the McKelvin fumble...when we all knew it was over.
  21. First, you don't know what the coaches said. Second, it's not rocket science to stop fighting for yards in that situation! God hates the Bills. Wonder what greeting the crowd will have next week after that debacle.
  22. God, way to miss the point.
  23. Mr. Weo : Lifetime ban.
  24. Now, the game is over. Odds of Bills winning 1%.
  25. Mr. Weo: Light your balls on fire.
