Right on Dawgg. Add Stephen Neal as a free agent who even visited the Bills. Talk about blowing a chance to get younger and better a RG. I was really hoping we were trading up into the first round for Mangold or Justice.
First off, let me say I don't want to go QB, but if I had my choice it would be Troy Smith, easily over Quinn or Stanton, easily. I prefer Joe Thomas or the top rated DE though.
Indys guards are worse than ours, but they have real good tackles and a pretty good center. I could live with JP behind KC's line of a couple years ago though, most definitley.
I would have signed em' both, with the young up and coming Neal at RG and Reyes as a improvement over Anderson but still only a band-aid type solution until we can do better at LG. Like you said......WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I have mentioned this too at other times and what really gets me is we even had him in for a visit. DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Correct Dan and SilverNRed. I just want the coaches to send a message that you better hold on to the damn ball. I'm not saying cut JP, but a little "sit your ass down and think about what you need to do to hold on to the ball" message could be in order.
Look, until we see Leinert play in cold, windy, wet, and snowy weather I don't care how he looks playing in the domed desert. I agree though, I think Losman should be showing more by now, it's his 3rd year.
I thought this was gonna be one of those we shoulda............ Thank you man, thank you. Let some of Leinert pole smokers see him play in some rough weather and cold games before saying anything.
My view is this: I'd like to resign Nasty Nate but only at the #5-10 highest CB contract at the most. No way in hell do I resign him as the highest paid CB in the league. If that is the only way to resign him, I'd rather take my chances with Youboty, Greer or one of the #2 at CB's on the market. I agree there is nobody else but the highest paid CB in the league? NO WAY! Fix the damn lines!!!!!!
I'm not blaming him for everything and agree the rest of the team isn't anything to get excited about but the QB is supposed to be a leader and he needs to be held accountable. If you treat him like a kitty he's gonna play like one. I don't think Nall is the answer either I just think JP needs to be held acountable.
He cannot keep this turnover machine rolling. Yeah but he hasn't even played a full season...........shut up. He needs to learn turnovers will not be accetable.
I finally gotta say JP needs to start showing a little more. It's not all his fault and his supporting cast could be a lot better, but he has to start making some better throws, clean up his mistakes more, and perform a little better under pressure.
Agreed. Larry "the bust" Tripplett and our other poor white boy DTs are gonna get pushed all over the field. I don't wanna even think about our Oline vs. their Dline.
