  1. Although the line as a whole has improved in pass blocking, we still only have one side (if that) that can runblock. Peters can, Fowler does well for his size, and sometimes Gandy depending on the opponent. Our right side is basically useless in runblocking.
  2. I just don't understand why Stroud and Herderson wouldn't work on this D. They're just too big.
  3. Kelly the Dog explained it very well but I'll settle this stupid argument: Willis is better than Thomas. Period. Willis is a quality starter, Thomas a very solid backup. I'd go as far as saying I'd dump Thomas if a RB who could be a more change up type fell in the draft. I would love to have a Jones-Drew of Jacksonville type back behind Willis and to even push him some, but I'm way happier with Thomas than Shaud Williams!
  4. I say resign Clements, Fletch, Gandy and Kelsay. I like our 4 DE rotation and would like to keep it going. In free agency get the best guard possible ( Steinbach, L. Davis, and Dockery are my 3 top choices ), try and dump Anderson for Ian Scott and go after Daniel Graham or Eric Johnson at TE. Let the draft come to us if we can get this done.
  5. Wake me when it's over.
  6. Alan Branch, DT or best Olineman remaining. I think Jarrett will be gone by the time we pick. Branch would probably be the #1 rated DT 2003.
  7. Right on Bob. I wouldn't be mad at all if we resign Gandy and go after someone to improve the right side, and I'm as big of a SIGN STEINBACH guy as BillInNYC! Well, maybe that is pushing it a little. For real though, in another thread I mentioned mabe resign Gandy and target Leanard Davis to play RT or even RG.
  8. I gotta say as of now ( 15thish ) pick that Levi Brown or Justin Blaylock make the most sense as I see the top DT gone by now. If the top rated LB or Jarrett falls I could see an exception being made. Sure, my dream scenario is Steinbach coming in to play LG but I have no problem with us resigning Gandy to continue to play there as he has been solid. If that happens, I'd like us to go after Leanard Davis to play somewhere on the RIGHT side.
  9. DT, OG, RT, WR, LB, TE, FB or LB, WR, RT, OG, DT, FB. Depends who we resign and sign in free agency. If we do a good job keeping our own and adding a few solid free agents with maybe one huge signing ( Steinbach or Leanord Davis to play RT or RG cause I think Gandy is playing solid at LG, Yes, it's true ), we could take the best available approach.
  10. Agreed. Thought we would have a good TE combo but I don't see Everitt even on the team next year. Too bad.
  11. Can't really disagree as long as we are committed to improving the lines in rounds 2 and 3.
  12. lian Peterson just got back to normal this year. I'll be patient. I'm more worried about DT on this D than anything right now.
  13. The fact of the matter is the Texans were missing both starting DT's and Mario Williams couldn't push off his right leg. The Oline had better had looked decent.
  14. Hold the phone. Mario Williams could only push off on one leg today. Let's wait till the end of the year.
  15. I never thought Reyes played that bad, but I guess none of us have any clue to what kind of work ethic he may have. I only have him holding down the fort on my signature until the 2nd or 3rd round pick is ready to play. I never liked Preston but hey, maybe he at least takes his job seriously. He better, with a pathetic 365 lb. bench press for a 311 lb. man coming out of college.
  16. Royal with cheese has really regressed lately. Can Everitt possibly be worse? He moves better than I thought he would but his suspect hands have really hurt lately.
  17. It very well may have been tipped MBD. I couldn't really tell. It's also very possible the sun affected it too. Out of all the times getting pinned deep today, it's likely something like that would happen anyways. Minus that play, let's hope JP has similar success the rest of the way even if it only means keeping the draft Brady f***in Quinn just because he's from ND assclowns quiet! For the record, I'm NOT a ND hater, there is just this moronic belief from many Buffalo residents that drafting a ND QB is the unmistakable way to go. I hate you idiots!!!!! Go Bills!!!!!!!!
  18. It may have been sarcastic but we'll talk about it anyways. Remember Pennington went against a very hobbled Mario Williams today. I am still pulling for him but believe we most likely will be looking to upgrade the position (RT) by seasons end.
  19. Whatever burnt crispy toast guy. If JP Losman had made his one read you picked off a little faster, you'd look even more pathetic. Dumbass.
  20. Kelso's Helmet is dead on. I'd look to upgrade LG, RG, and RT anyways possible. As for Gandy porgyman, he is a turnstile at LT, adequate at LG. Check out my signiture for how it's done.
  21. Since the cap is not a problem, keep him and see if he keeps getting better.
  22. The pope is a dope, but resign Clements, yes. Fletcher and Kelsay too.
  23. When it happens, IT'S ABOUT FRICKEN' TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thomas and Greer suck.
  24. Fowler and Clements are 27 and 26 dude. I keep Fletcher too for 3 years. Basically, I try and keep Clements and Fletch, possibly Kelsay if we can sign him to a similar deal like Denny. Free agency and draft will determine the other players fates you mentioned.
  25. If Matt Schaub was a free agent sure, I'd look at him. Atlanta wants a high pick, and he isn't worth giving up a first day draft pick.
