You know what guys, the offense sucked various times tonight, and came through at various times. Ditto for the defense. Special teams and coaching sucked pretty much all night. What I cannot get over, what will haunt me tonight and the rest of the season, possibly forever, was watching the Broncos kick a FG, seeing it MISS, jumping up in shock and about to celebrate, only to see a flag come in. That is honestly trauma right there. I can't even think about the rest because we just witnessed a win get turned back into a loss. Last years game against Minnesota was like this too, but this felt worse.

Yeah, but that's OUR thing, it's not supposed to be other teams thing too!! -

God, they are gonna kill the clock and get a TD. Come on Raiders, you gotta make Wilson look like freaking Brady? -

Some teams in the AFC refuse to die. Jets are one of them 😑 -

Man, why this Cowboys and Giants game? I know the Boys bring in "ratings", but I would much rather watch The Lions/Chargers! -

I would rather The Ravens win, but The Browns are about to win this. -

Agreed. The Ravens aren't going to lose many games, and the North is a gauntlet. Would rather the Browns lose. -

You are a troll. It's not like people can't tell. The throw Allen made to one of our tight ends in the Giants game was a hell of a lot more impressive than the one Burrow threw, to a wide open Chase. -

Okay, do we need to start worrying about Houston as well? Holy hell. I miss being a young and upcoming team -

Such a troll 🙄Not fooling a single soul on this board. -
I don't buy that he is heartbroken at all. I don't usually go into his personal life on this forum, but have heard that he and his ex have broken up numerous times, with him asking her to leave and her not wanting to go. It sounds like it was a toxic and unhealthy relationship, and I truly believe he is happier with Hailee. If he truly loved Brittany/felt she was the one, he probably would have proposed to her after all those years together. FWIW I do think he seems to be going through some stuff, but I don't think it's his ex. I personally think the weight of trying to carry this team on his shoulders is getting to him. He doesn't seem as happy as he used to, and he just seems distracted. Again, I don't think it's the ex, but I do on some level think he has a lot going on and seems to be trying to grapple with it, along with playing the game.

Stuck in the mud = Coaching & Lack of Talent
ALG1130 replied to PepeSilvia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't understand why, when you have a QB like Josh Allen, you don't go out and at least TRY to put a super team around him. I feel like that should have been the goal since he was drafted, and once we went to the AFCCG and even the following year, getting SO close, but knowing we were missing pieces, why not just go all out? Look at how stubborn The Ravens org. was with Lamar. They finally get him some legit weapons and now they look like the best team in the AFC. Lamar was able to carry the team a bit due to sheer talent(when healthy) and they relied on him too much for that, but now he has pieces around him and they look unstoppable. Speaking of The Ravens. I fear with the injuries we have this year, we are this seasons Ravens. Decimated by injuries and quite possibly not making the playoffs. Ugh! -
National media are starting to grind their collective axes
ALG1130 replied to Thunderstruck's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, the media is calling it as they see it. I can't be mad about it. This team has a ton of flaws. I felt that way coming into the season, and the injuries made it even worse. We needed a shakeup in the off season, and did not do one, and now the team is looking like what it is, old and tired. It reminds me of The Bills 1994 season, after losing their 4th straight SB, they looked drained and tired and had a season like we are having now. Missed the playoffs that year too, for the first time in years. Had a little bit of a reset the following year and lost to Pittsburgh in the divisional, but we all know what happened after that. -
I saw it coming from a mile away. It used to be The Bills and The Chiefs. They were the top dogs in the AFC, and it looked like would be constantly duking it out. Then, The Bengals arrive, a team that has The Bills number and that they have no answer for. Oh, but there is more, while the Bengals are emerging, other AFC teams are what the Bills were back in 2019, young and up and coming. The Jaguars, Steelers, hell, Miami goes all in during the off season to put Tua in the best position to win. What did The Bills do? Stagnant off season and signed some cheaper players, like Andy Isabella etc We got dogwalked by Cincy and they did nothing to attempt to get us past them, or even equal. Now, we are in a hole with a hole bunch of emerging AFC teams, we don't catch any breaks and the AFC teams that might be outpacing us right now to get into the playoffs, no matter how middling some of them seem, keep finding out ways to pull wins out of their butts, especially against NFC teams. We are in a hole right now, but I can honestly say I had a feeling this would happen in the off season. You can't bring a bunch of emotionally/mentally drained and aging players back and think they will play with fire inside of them. They look burned out, and possibly with all the crap they went through last season, and the season ending in painful disappointment each year, I think a lot of the guys are just phoning it in. I feel like we needed a little bit of a shakeup, but we didn't get that, and now paying the price.

Wait, can you guide me to the pistachio allergy discussion? I missed that one!!

This is where I miss our 2021 season. Also rocky, and a win/loss every other week, but we had Emmanuel Sanders and he was awesome, and we still had a relatively serviceable Beasely.
-
Mahomes has Kelce. Josh has Diggs. Both offenses are having some issues.
-
I saw it coming too. Just like The Pats game. It's really frustrating. It's the "coming through when we need them" aspect that drives me crazy. We almost lost to The Giants because of it, and The Bucs. I know our D is very banged up, but we still have Oliver, Rousseau, Hyde and Poyer, Von etc I can't even imagine the bloodbaths about to come when we start playing the high flying offenses, like The Eagles around the corner.

The Bills are done, stick a fork in them
ALG1130 replied to HopefulFuture's topic in The Stadium Wall
Obvious troll here. After a loss you guys love to come out in full force. BTW Was Jan 14th, 2021 a fever dream? -
Shootouts are our only chance. I think what has really been hurting us is constantly getting the ball in bad field position, and the other team starting off at midfield often, it seems. But yeah, we have to win shootouts, but our offense has no identity right now, and seems like they are still trying to figure it out.

Building opinion that Josh is not committed to the Bills/football?
ALG1130 replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or that "he's regressing". Regressing with 24 TD's and nearly 2,500 yards so far. People are looking at the losses, blaming him and claiming he's regressing because he is clearly at fault for the losses. Stats be damned!
