  1. One of the FEW podcasts I am willing to watch/listen to today. I am always and forever with Chris Simms on the topic of our offense. "The whole game is on him. I'm sick of it!"(regarding Josh)
  2. I already answered it. But if you insist, I will again, No, I am not worried about Josh missing receivers or allegedly seeing the field. All QB's have dropped balls, overthrown passes. This is stupid. I am sorry, but it is. What I am worried about is our OL is bad again, that as soon as Josh snaps the ball he has to run for his life, that when he DOES put the ball in the receivers hands, they(outside of Diggs or Kincaid even) drop the passes. I have a lot of worries in regards to this team, the guy who carries it and takes us farther than we should be each season is the least of my concerns.
  3. I keep thinking this could be a "bounce back" game, and then I realize The Bucs are competent and have Evans. I think our D is going to get shredded. After this one, we get to go against Burrow and Chase and Higgins. Sigh.
  4. FFS I know you already admitted to not reading the other persons post you have been responding to, and apparently you did not read mine, or if you did, comprehend what I was saying. You just keep repeating the same thing over and over without listening to what people are saying.
  5. The fact that you keep referring to Josh as "your QB" tells me everything I need to know. You are probably one of the people here whom did not want to be wrong about calling him a bust 🙄 Unlike you, I actually watch the games. Every snap had him running for his life, and I am sure you noticed that too, but may not want to admit it. It was ridiculous. Our OL is awful, yet occasionally has a good game. Our OL is so bad that we have to use our tight ends to help them out, often. You are acting like QB's don't miss throws, or have INT's, or wide open receivers. I watched a lot of Football yesterday, and I saw Mahomes do it, Tua, Jalen, all the "great" QB's have missed throws or wide open targets. Is this seriously your biggest argument? This is silly and nitpicky. Regardless of how sluggish the offense has been(and yes, it's a problem that needs to be addressed) in the first two or three quarters, they still rallied the team from being down and got them the lead, and both times the defense allowed the other team to go back down the field, and one of them scored and won, and the other came dangerously close. Both sides need to compliment each other, and the last three weeks the defense has not done that when the offense needed them to. You want to say the offense needs to help the defense out? Fine. But then admit it goes both ways and the defense needs to return the favor.
  6. I mean, no matter how sluggish the offense may look, three weeks in a row now when they DID get things going, when they did score to get a lead, the defense allowed the other team to march right back down the field and score, or in the case of The Giants game, The Giants bungled severely and beat themselves, and our defense was just there for the ride. The offense did score two TD's and converted 2 points for the lead. Maybe to you it was too little too late, but at least it was something. Allowing a really bad team with a bad offense, a bad OL and QB march right back down the field and allow them a TD was shameful. Don't know how anyone can defend this.
  7. Because people over here find it easier to blame Josh and Dorsey 🤷‍♀️
  8. Okay I lied, this game is making me feel a little better. Not going to enjoy watching The Eagles torch our defense, but right now I appreciate them.
  9. Now now, "talent" is overrated!! Continuity is where it's at!
  10. I get what you're saying, it's just that it was painful and kind of a cruel way to lose like that.
  11. I'm still so salty and sad about what happened today, that it's ruined this game for me. I mean, I will be a little happy if The Eagles beat Miami, a little satisfied, but at the same time I feel like our season is going nowhere and what difference does it make?
  12. Completely agree, and it's a bummer. It feels like each week they just try and see what will stick. I think it's time to just let Josh go back to his old ways and playing style. Is it reckless? Sure, a little I guess, but a lot more effective than what we are seeing these days.
  13. I don't know what his deal is, if there is even a deal, and hell, maybe there is. He could have something going on, but I guess what I am trying to say is I don't think he was the problem today. I mean, it wasn't his best game, but he came through when we needed him most, and we still lost. Sure, the INT did not help, or some of his missed throws, but there was a lot going on in this game and I would put him toward the bottom of the totem pole in the blame game. Yep, I will blame the mash unit. I mean, for Josh, he never gets any grace when he is dealing with an injury, whether it's his elbow or shoulder, but the mash unit which still consists of Von, Poyer, Hyde, Taron Johnson, AJ etc still a pretty solid group, playing against two garbage teams in a row, one that can't score more than 12 points a game, yet allowed them to march down the field, and worse, march down the field to get a TD after we finally get a lead. If anything, that should have given them all the momentum. It didn't.
  14. Agreed. The AFC North is ridiculous and they might all get in, leaving room only for the division winners and I don't see us catching up to Miami. Sad times and I am trying to come to peace with this.
  15. Ah, a feat Mac Jones could really only accomplish against our sad defense! He has not exactly been lighting it up, but any bad QB can feel good about themselves when playing our defense. No matter how poorly our defense plays at times, they will always have the comfort of knowing Dorsey and Josh will get all the blame.
  16. This whole conversation is silly, and a sad attempt at nosing into Josh's personal life/relationships. No matter how sluggish our offense looked in the beginning, Josh showed some clutch mental abilities, getting two scores, last one for the go ahead lead, to get the team ahead and possibly win the game for the team. It was like an uglier version of The Chiefs divisional game. Can we for once put some blame on other aspects of this team? We have a conservative coach and the defense bails on us when we need them most. Dorsey is an issue, but keeping our biggest weapon(Josh) on a leash has done more harm than good, and I am not sure that is on Dorsey. Our special teams sucks this year. I mean, we could throw blame around but I guess if you are the QB, you get the bulk of it, no matter how unfair or not that is.
  17. Ah yes, allowing Mac Jones and his offense to score 29 points, march down the field and hell, score a TD in under two minutes with utter ease had nothing to do with it. Nope, our ancient defense is just stellar and so is our head coach. They can do no wrong.
  18. and the week before that, it came down to the wire and some generosity from the refs against THE GIANTS!! I don't care how banged up our defense is, those are some trash teams with trash QB's. Please.
  19. I have seen a lot of teams go through injuries and adversity, but still win/play well. I don't feel like the injuries should be an excuse, especially against bad teams like The Pats and Giants. It should not have come down to the wire against both teams. I just feel disgusted right now.
  20. Why are there so many Allen haters on this board? It's genuinely baffling. The guy singlehandedly carries this team year in and out, and they don't do sh*t to help him. People should be more mad about that. As if Mahomes would flourish in this organization without Reid.
  21. I honestly wish we never even got the lead. I was mentally prepared for a loss, and I was salty about it, but I was prepared and reached acceptance. Losing the way we did, with them marching down the field, and not even holding them to a FG, but giving them a TD?? It's sickening and somehow made this loss even more painful than it should have been.
