  1. Oof. What a slap to the Lions to go for it on 4th and super long.
  2. In Buffalo, well, speaking for myself, I still have ABC, and it's not blacked out.
  3. Very true. It's a combination of trolls(fans of other teams pretending to be Bills fans) and fans that don't want nice things, and want to just go back to misery, because it's a more comfortable place to be.
  4. Let me ask you this? Do you think Josh being a goofball or not working out to your standards(honestly, he looks pretty fit right now. People are using a photo of him and his ex from last off season to fit their narrative) has hurt The Bills in any way? Can Josh improve in certain areas? Of course. We all can. I am sure you could make a case for Burrow or Mahomes or whomever. Josh is who he is. He has stated he takes it easy in the off season because he takes so many hits in the regular season. He puts the team and City on his back every year and is a huge reason why we go 13-3 and make the playoffs(I truly believe we go to the SB and WIN if the coaches did not botch 13 seconds). I guess what I am really trying to say is, of course Josh could use room for improvement in some areas, but the fans singling HIM out when he is usually the reason we have winning seasons, along with putting his body on the line, and then throwing a fit when being called out for it because "we aren't allowed to criticize Josh". Yes, Josh can be criticized, but how often is he THE REASON we lose or botch games? In most cases, he is the reason we win them, and occasionally if he does make some mistakes, he will make up for them another way. I don't think he should be exempt from criticism, but I also don't think he should be singled out.
  5. This forum amazes me. I mean damn. I don't see Bengals or Chiefs fans acting this way about their QB. They celebrate their QB's, and here we are, with a QB who is at the very least, tied with Burrow and QB2(you can make a case for both guys) and Bills fans are so freaking miserable(or we got some trolls pretending to be Bills fans) and complain and also seem to want to create some sort of villian arc for him. It's bizarre, and I sometimes think Bills fans would be a lot happier being miserable and going back to losing, and not having an elite QB. Now, this is not to say that I don't think Josh can improve on some things. I do think, at 27 years old, he should probably put more effort into staying more fit, but at the end of the day, as of now, his physique has never been an issue. I also think back to Jim Kelly and how much he drank, and don't want to see Josh follow in his footsteps, but he is still in his 20's and as of now the only stories of him being "hungover" are on off days. No offense to Beck Water, but this sort of felt like a hit/character piece. I did watch the interview, and I just thought it was Josh being as "goofy" as usual, I did not think he was truly offended by the Pickleball thing, and I think he was being a goofball by claiming he's the greatest athlete. I did not take any of that seriously by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe I need to watch again and see what the heck I am missing.
  6. I might consider seeing a shrink for a lot of things, but Football, as much as I love it, would not be my reason why 🙄
  7. That is what terrifies me. Their defense gave us fits in both games, and they will have a better QB and set of receivers, oh, and not a shabby RB as well(don't remember who their RB was last year, but it wasn't Breece) and meanwhile, our defense is looking old and slow as ever. Can't ever sniff the QB of the opposing team. It's going to rely on Josh being able to make some magic happen. I think about some ugly games in the past where we came out flat and he sort of rallied the team back(Tampa Bay game in 2021. Ravens game last year). I would feel a lot better about this game if it was a home game.
  8. I don't know, but I am scared. I feel like their defense is going to be like The Steelers were in the 2021 season opener, maybe even worse. Sauce Gardner will probably get away with a ton of pass interference. I hate how dejected I feel about a season that hasn't even started yet. I guess because my worst fears of an old and slow defense, bad OL and uneventful pre-season felt justified in that 1st quarter of The Steelers game. I don't want my intuition to be right about this kind of stuff. I say all this as I just wait to hear about how The Dolphins signed JTT, and again be reminded of how awful this offseason was(minus getting Kincaid!).
  9. It literally felt like a continuation of the Bengals game. So much of this stuff is mental. I wonder if the season ending the way it did, and not living up to what was expected has taken the wind out of their sails? How do you fix this?? This is why I was hoping for a shakeup in the offseason, and maybe on some level we did get that, but not in a good way.
  10. OMG!! A break?? Can we actually score and put up some damn points and make this less embarrassing?
  11. I'm sure that is part of it too, but he has taken this team as far as he can. You can't convince me otherwise, that he is NOT the reason we have gone to the playoffs 4 years in a row, two 13-3 seasons, in the MVP race twice, all to be undone by coaches or defense or not fixing the issues that don't help us get past some of the nemesis teams. It's not even rational to put any of this on him. That's where I think the jealousy part plays in. He's becoming a star, the ladies love him and Burrow(TikTok is crazy for them) and he's got movies stars sliding in his DM's. It's stupid, but for few of his haters on here, I feel like that is part of it. Josh is our only hope, and the only reason we "might" go places. It's how it's been the past three years. We rely on him to make miracles happen, and Diggs too, and they usually do and it makes it seem like things are fine, but they aren't. I wanted Beane to do a shakeup this offseason, but he chose to remain stagnant. I know this is a preseason game, but holy hell this was our starters vs theirs, and outside of Josh and Kincaid, it was just bad. I am concerned, and frustrated with Beane for not doing more.
  12. I think for the few haters he has over here, which is just ridiculous, it all boils down to good old fashioned jealousy, and nothing more.
  13. I love Allen and what he has done for this team and organization, but my god, he deserves so much better. How do you have an elite, top 3 QB(I have him behind Mahomes, but I know people debate him vs Burrow)and not do everything humanly possible to make his life easier? How?? You don't fix the OL? You could have gotten Hopkins and given him a solid #2 receiver. Beane basically did nothing this offseason. Josh deserves a SB, and I feel like this organization is borderline dysfunctional. I feel some sort of Matt Stafford arc for him coming. He keeps being let down by the coaches/mahagement, goes to another team in his 30's and wins the whole thing. Just embarrassing.
  14. This person is unhinged, and says some really bizarre/disturbing things. I would not bother engaging.
  15. I'm honestly, legitimately mad at Beane for A LOT of things this offseason, and I say this as a huge fangirl of his that has compared him to the 2nd coming of Pollian. I am just blown away that he barely made any moves after we got our asses handed to us by Cincy, watched a whole lot of teams that gave us a tough time last season get better, and for the most part, stayed idle. I was actually hoping for some shakeups. I didn't feel like we did enough in the off season to get past Cindy/KC, and now a lot of other AFC teams are better. I know it's a preseason game, I keep telling myself this over and over, but I think because we have our starters in, and they have theirs in, I am a little scared.
  16. I am so freaking terrified Josh is going to be wasted in this organization.
  17. Good god!!! Thank GOD this is just pre-season, but it's been our starters in, so in a way it kind of hurts.
  18. All my bad/negative "we didn't do enough in the off season" feelings are roaring back. I know I sound super negative right now, but damn, we have a pretty old and slow defense and I would have rather we sacrificed some of the older players and just loaded up more on offense, and the OL.
  19. I have to keep reminding myself that this is just pre-season, but damn this defense is always frustrating for me too watch. I feel like they look slower and older with each passing year. I just wish we could have a filthy/smothering defense. I say this while realizing it is JUST pre-season, but I am perpetually disappointed in our D and always having to have Josh and the offense bail us out.
  20. Was it last week when he threw that ridiculous pass(I think it was to Diggs) that was trending and the main culprit of it treding was because his "arm strength" is what made the throw so absurd.
