  1. Oh come on. This is getting ridiculous. How does the defense keep getting away scott free in these parts? How? They were so bad today that I knew they were going to blow it once the Pats got the ball back with under two minutes. When we need them the most, they disappear. Not saying the offense hasn't had it's share of issues, but the defense has tendencies to screw us when we need them most. They can do it in "13 seconds" or against Mac Jones. It's maddening.
  2. The amount of trolls in this forum is staggering.
  3. Josh's shoulder might be an issue still, but good god people, we literally took the lead with less than 2 minutes left, converted a 2 pt conversion, and then allowed the Mac Jones led Patriots march down the field on us and score a touchdown. Not Mahomes! Not Burrow. Not Tua. Mac Jones!! A team that was scoring what, 12 points a game? Absolutely demoralizing, and what's worse, I had a feeling that's what would happen as soon as we scored. Trust me people, at some point it is okay to shift some of that blame around.
  4. Why are you arguing with Bills fans on a Bills board? This is strange. Good for Mahomes, but Josh's story is still being written and we won't really know his full story until he has retired. Obviously he has the goods to do a lot of great things, but it IS a team sport, and god knows he doesn't have Reid as a head coach.
  5. Being on a "winning team" is fine and all, but I have a feeling he has bigger goals.
  6. I am not going to comment on how "great" Josh is. Most people with any sense or no bias knows he is elite. My issue is it is 2023, and I am seeing a lot of fans longing for the offense of 2020 and 2021, when we had some talented old heads like Beasely, Sanders and John Brown. I AGREE! Those guys complimented Diggs and made our offense run smoother. Now it's just the Allen and Diggs show, and we don't have the reliable old guys anymore. Instead we have Davis and Knox who SOMETIMES make a great play, but often drop some easy passes, making Josh look for Diggs to get open instead of taking what's open because he doesn't trust the guys. I feel sad that I don't think we have an offense/team that can win the AFCCG/Super Bowl and truly don't understand how we are still here. How? We went through some heartache the past few years and saw that needed more to get past some of the other AFC teams. What did we do to get us past Cincy and their loaded offense? Now we have The Jaguars, Chiefs are still The Chiefs, the Dolphins are loaded on offense(I know we dogwalked them, but we will most likely have to do that twice more). Just feel like we are truly relying on Josh to make magic happen, while wasting his prime years. So disappointing.
  7. It's really frustrating. All we have in the AFC is The Chargers, who are good for Chargering it up. All the other AFC teams though? It's a gauntlet this year.
  8. He also missed a wide open receiver in the end zone.
  9. Simms has been on this for about three years now, and I cannot disagree with him. He felt we needed more weapons in 2021, when we also had Sanders and Beasely. Sanders was a great deep threat with his speed, and Beasely was reliable for Josh. Now we have Diggs, and none of the other safety nets we used to have. It's so disappointing how stubborn Beane has been about this. I don't get it. We literally sat there in the offseason, watching "good' teams get better(like The Dolphins) and he was like "nah, we're good". Don't get me wrong, I do think our team is very good, and we can score a lot of points when things are going well, but I cannot sit here and say we have an offense that is as strong as other teams in our conference. Completely agree with Chris, and feel so disappointed that we are still in this spot.
  10. You're talking to a person who said "we are stuck with Josh for the next three years". Not worth trying to debate with this person.
  11. You know who else didn't get "3 points"? The Bills, TWICE. If we are going to play that game, might as well bring that up as well.
  12. Wow, I would much rather watch Cincy vs Seattle. It's a decent matchup, and The Bengals being in the AFC is of interest to us. Why would anyone in their right mind want to watch Miami vs Carolina??? Miami is probably going to score 80 on them.
  13. You can't be serious 🙄What are we tanking for? To start all over again and possibly lose with some of our elite players, in hopes we eventually build up to a new crop of elite players in the future? Let's have some perspective here.
  14. That's fine, but I don't buy it 🤷‍♀️
  15. Finally, someone says it. It's been pretty obvious since day 1. Just wonder who this person is really a fan of. I am thinking Patriots.
  16. Ewww. WTF Roger? I am not surprised though. This game felt like a big slap in the face once the schedule came out. A "home" game of a team flying out to play another team that was there for a couple weeks. Only thing I would put on The Bills was not flying out sooner, but still, terrible on the NFL, and we are suffering the consequences of this game.
  17. It's not misrepsentation, HE WAS the reason we had a chance. It's not like the game was ever out of hand. Good defense by The Jags, sus calling on offense(trying to get Cooks run game going when it wasn't working), dropped passes, egregious flags and a half dead defense, yet we had a chance, mostly because of Allen and Epenesa.
  18. Total offense today was 388 or something like that. Josh had about 360 yards, 3 TDs today. I am so mad at myself for even being involved in this thread. My bad.
  19. It's not on 17 at all. He was one of our brighter spots today. This is ridiculous. It's just people nitpicking at what he DIDN'T do right today, as opposed to what really cost us this game. Bad coaching, flags, trying to get a run game going with Cook in crucial moments when it was clear we could not are way ahead of him. Josh and AJ kept us in this game as far as I am concerned.
  20. There are people in this forum who just wait to ***** on him when we lose a game, because of whatever reasons. They are trolls in the guise of Bills fans, people who didn't want him yet don't want to be wrong about him(don't really get that one) etc, but come on, THIS GAME? I know this is a thing in this forum? But this game? This is nitpicky as hell. Josh was not our problem today. I can absolutely see The Jets game and putting it on him, but he should be way low on the totem pole for this one. Sorry, that is my opinion. A couple "underthrown" balls was not the problem today. Being outcoached was. Going to London two days before the game was. Not being prepared was. Stupid flags and costly injuries. DROPPED passes. I would put all these things ahead of Josh. Come on now. There is a lot of hating in this forum, and of course, he can tweak some things, but singling him out when there were so many other issues just seems silly.
  21. It's probably just being jaded. I get it. It's hard not to be sometimes 😕
  22. 359 yards, 3 TDS, yeah, HE was the problem today. When we lose, the Josh haters(some trolls) on this forum will show themselves.
  23. I knew it was too good to be true. Our defense was looking lights out, and now half of them are dead. Just unreal. This is not something I wish on other teams, just interesting that it doesn't seem to happen to them the way it does us 😕
