  1. Oh no, just told my wife about this thread and this particular post... She told me not to be disrespectful to the father of her child and that she thinks white hair is cool!
  2. Geez, TD was behind the breakup up Shaq and Kobe AND was the real reason Jerry Krause broke up the Bulls. Ohh the inhumanity...
  3. From ESPN's insider section: --------- Bills in a quandary Coming into this draft, the Buffalo Bills were in an interesting jam because they were trying to get the best value for RB Travis Henry in one of the better running back drafts in recent memory. Now their options are extremely limited as his value has gone down because the three teams that really wanted him all drafted running backs. The problem with Henry is he only has one year left on his contract, so whichever team gets him will have to pay him big bucks after the season or let him go. He doesn't have the value of a guy who's signed for the next two or three years because he could merely be a rental player. Ultimately, the Bills didn't have much leverage. Now the Bills have to switch strategies, and maybe their new goal is to use Henry to fill one of the needs they didn't fill in the draft. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts are prepared to just go ahead and let their respective running backs (Shaun Alexander and Edgerrin James) stay under a franchise tag for another season. The Colts probably can't commit another $12 million to $15 million signing bonus for a player because the stadium deal is starting to go south a little. I just don't see teams trading a player or a pick for any of these guys and handing out a big signing bonus. Instead of doing that, they can wait a year and most likely get these guys for just the signing bonus. -------------- Part of what he's saying make sense, but the I don't grasp the following portion: Now the Bills have to switch strategies, and maybe their new goal is to use Henry to fill one of the needs they didn't fill in the draft. Does this mean, Travis is now going to have to play OL? DL? DB? Towel boy?
  4. The truth keeps rolling in, TD shot John Lennon!
  5. This man's tyranny knows no bounds. I just found out TD was the real reason why The Beatles broke up.
  6. I'll do you one better and say they go 9-6 due to a surprise one week player strike over lack of clean towels in the locker rooms.
  7. Oh come on, deep down inside you have to admit it was funny
  8. Just to show how evil he is, TD is bringing RJ back to be our starting QB
  9. Here's the title of the article: Frustrated car owner assassinates his Chrysler
  10. Once again, the state I was born in and lived in a good portion of my life embarasses me...
  11. I agree. Good points and good post.
  12. I like his quip in the Cincy section: Cincinnati: ESPN commentators praised Bengals' first-round pick David Pollack for having a 36-inch vertical jump despite weighing 261 pounds. Yours truly is 52 years old, and let's just say carries a significant fraction of Pollack's weight; the other day I did a 31-inch vertical jump. Shouldn't an NFL first draft choice jump substantially higher than a 52-year-old columnist?
  13. Well, I can honestly tell you my moment of divine inspiration took quite a while to come up with it
  14. OMG, my wife and I are thinking about having a baby. I bet that Bastard knocks her up before I even have the chance! Damn you and your evil seed TD!!!
  15. Thank you for the info, I have long held that suspicion, and this proves it!!!
  16. That bastard! He's not only evil, he's just plain mean
  17. Guy's like TD give pentagram's a bad name... although I do love the goat sacrifices. I hear he's working his way up to actually sacrificing buffalo soon. Colorado mascot should look out...
  18. Yeah my boss has said a couple of people on our board have come over to theirs and talked some smack.
  19. Don't forget to include Randy Mueller in the arrogant (and also looking for work) category.
  20. I agree NC is worth a lot. That being said, no I don't see RW paying NC a huge contract. Nor would I want him too. Nothing against Nate, but I don't believe in tying up a good portion of our cap to one player. Just my opinion.
  21. Maybe I am splitting hairs, but can you define what you mean buy getting zero in return? Depending how you look at value or ROI, I could make an argument that we have gotten exceptional value/ROI from NC and his current contract. Same with TH. While it definitely would be nice to get something in return (ie draft picks, players), I realize that's not always possible. Maybe I am being too pragmatic at the moment...
  22. My opinion is that Jones will be moved back to RB and with a year in the system, not to mention two years removed from his knee injury, he'll turn some heads this year.
  23. My boss who is a big Cardinal fan says that people on their board much preferred Clements to Shelton. Go figure.
