  1. I wish I could hear more about Tom Brady! Just jam a freakin' ice pick in my ears!
  2. By next year, as McGee becomes a top corner, yes, we'll have the top safety duo in the league. I safety cannot play to his full potential unless he has a couple good corners on the team. If we can manage to keep Nate next season, we'll have THE best defensive backfield in the NFL.
  3. I think the Bolts should keep Drew and trade Rivers. Drew is showing he has it. He is young and won't be cheap. Rivers can fetch a high draft pick now, but his value will go down if he sits on the bench another year. Easy choice in my humble opinion.
  4. Or worse -- he should go work for the stinkin' Fish again.
  5. The Chiefs-Broncos matchup is the second most important game for Bills fans this weekend. A Denver loss coupled with a Buffalo win would be a big boost to our playoff hopes. Likewise, a Denver win would mean serious trouble. I hope Arrowhead is really rockin'.
  6. The second Bills/Jets game wasn't even close. Guest -- Lots of courage when you can hide behind your keyboard, huh? Your comments aren't worth a bucket of warm spit.
  7. I agree. They built that strong record against week teams -- week teams we're getting to play now.
  8. Dr. Z For what it's worth..... Buffalo Bills (7-6) They held Cleveland to 17 total yards, fifth lowest of all time. "The only time you see a game like that is in college," Drew Bledsoe said. Gee, I didn't know he came to the Columbia games. Now #12 Has Denver at #9 -- get outta of here
  9. Thanks. Good read. Nice to see TV is so level headed.
  10. Great freakin' read about Sam Wyche and company. Long but good to end. Link
  11. I'm day-to-day, but it isn't looking good. I have a strained wife, and I'm worried I might end up with a strained groin if I don't sit this one out.
  12. Written like a true fan -- I mean it -- all of us who have been around this team for a while know that all this praise and crap is no good at all. Let's hope the Bills can buck history. Man, let's hope.
  13. I'd preffer the Fish get him rather than the Pat's D-coordinator.
  14. Of course not. I do expect them to somewhat understand there is no hope for the playoffs and thus realize there is no reason to play Palmer and risk their future. Really, I think the Bengals will play very tough and with a lot of pride. They have every reason to hate the Bills, and I'm sure they want to finish above .500.
  15. The Bengals are two games out -- that is way too big of a deficit in the AFC this year. There is NO realistic way Cincci makes it.
  16. This certainly seems to be a big plus for the Bills. First off, the Bills are used to this weather -- the Bengals aren't so much. More importantly, this may keep some Cincci fans home and will surely make demoralizing them easier.
  17. Jacksonville forecast for Saturday (the day the Jags leave Florida): Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 61. Link Pack wins by the difference in temp: 45
  18. Green Bay forecast for Sunday: Sunday: A chance of flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 16. Link I'm loving' it!
  19. Why is Rian Lindell listed on this? Not to jinx him or anything, but his play thus far does not warrant this treatment. he has been a nice surprise this season.
  20. No blasting coming from me, but I'd like to remind you how, as Talley himself described, his eyes woudl change color come the fourth quarter. The D back then would pick off perfecet passses, block kicks, just rip the ball from running backs, whatever it took to get a win. The D back then knew how to ensure a win.
  21. Any linebacker playing behind Pat and Sam is going to look at least 20 percent better than he really is. They may be the best D-tackle-duo in history.
  22. Potential Mascot For Buffalo Bills Escapes In Louisville Thompson says "the deal was if I could get a halter on this bull, and get him broke, he would be the future mascot of the Buffalo Bills. .... Like the Bills' 7 and 6 record this year, the plan worked -- at least at first.
  23. I think the Super Bowl D was better. Sorry everyone. I really enjoy watching this year's D, but there is no Bruce Smith. I also think Biscuit and Talley were a better team than Takeo and London. Lenord Smith (only SB 25, I believe) was as good as Lawyer. Nate Odoms was as good or better than Nate Clements. Shane Conlan, Mark Kelso, Jeff Wright, etc., were all great. Also, MM is no match for Marv Levy -- maybe someday. Nonetheless, I think the Bills have a good chance of going deep into the playoffs this year -- if they get the help needed to get in.
  24. I completely agree that losing Belichick would kill the Pats. My point was that every chink the New England's armor is a welcome sight to me. I feel strongly that Weis' new job is a serious chink.
  25. Is that to say you don't think Weis is a valuable aspect of the coaching staff? Do you think Belichick can claim total responsibility for the Pats' success? I think we'll see a less-effective Tom Brady after Weis leaves.
