I believe that’s what Allen is talking about mapping his throwing motion. Thats what he use to do with Palmer. I think mechanics is something you should always work on. Not every QB is Tom Brady but Tom Brady always was working on mechanics. He even brought his QB coach on vacation with him.

I honestly think he’s lost weight this year. He’s on a mission.

Davis had a great game is all I’m saying. He was running great routes. Mahomes did make plays with his legs, especially the first TD drive.

Davis was running wide open on almost every catch. Defensive break downs all game.

Poyer was banged up all year, didn’t have his normal season. Hamlin was a 2nd year player getting his first extensive playing time. I felt he graded out ok, average. I think there was one game if I remember correctly that he really struggled in. I think maybe the Dolphins game late in the season.

I could easily say the players don’t know how to finish on defense. There’s also many examples of leadership on defense getting beat in big moments. That’s why I say we will find out a lot about McDermott. McDermott is building a new core on defense. Can he continue to have a top ranked regular season defense? Will he continue to have issues getting his defense to perform in the playoffs? There’s a lot we will find out about McDermott.

He’s the most experienced safety in McDermott’s system I believe on the roster. He wasn’t bad a couple years ago. Him and Johnson together were bad. We had so many issues at safety in 2022.

Allen was terrible vs the Bengals though. Probably his worst playoff performance.

Yes we have, and Mahomes and Burrow have been equal or better than Allen. This isn’t that hard. We’re just focusing on the Bills and not their opponents. McDermott has no answers for these QBs in the playoffs. It’s true. I don’t know how we fix that?

We find out a lot about both McDermott and Allen this year.

Football isn’t Rodgers priority right now.

You make a lot of excuses for Allen not being the best QB in the NFL instead of just accepting the fact he’s not the best QB in the NFL. Reid is a great head coach. One of the best offensive coaches in the history of the league but he never won a Super Bowl until he had the best QB in the league. Allen is great. McDermott is good. It’s a combination that can win a Super Bowl but like all other teams that win just 1, they need some luck also. It just hasn’t happened. I don’t think we’ve had the type of players on defense you need to win championships. I still don’t think we have them. It’s a harsh reality. McDermott is to blame for that. It’s his team. He built it.

Has he ever been the best QB in our elimination games? I remember the 13 seconds game and he was 329 with 4 TDs. But Mahomes was 378 and 4 TDs also. Allen was great, but Mahomes matched him. 2019 Texans loss - Watson was better 2020 Chiefs loss - Mahomes was better 2021 Chiefs loss - Draw 2022 Bengals loss - Burrow was better 2023 Chiefs loss - Close, I’ll call it a draw due to drops by Bills WR’s.
