    Everyone saw his struggles this offseason. But I definitely thought he was a lock for TE2. Im not a homer, I give my opinion. He had a guaranteed contract so I figured he was a lock.

    Didn’t see the separation. He’s also more of a big slot WR. The Bills covet separation over size. I don’t think outside vs inside matters too much to them.

    Doesn’t really hurt but I did think he’d be a part of the “new” offense. Sweeney seems to be a core depth player. I’ve never really seen anything but they like him around.

    Being a GM you’re going to take L’s. The key is to not take them at key positions and key draft picks. Also recognizing a miss and moving on.

    I’m surprised they cut Howard but he didn’t have a good camp. So maybe I shouldn’t be surprised.

    Kern is better than at least half the punters in the league. I’m sure multiple teams with punters have contacted him. He also might not want to punt in poor weather.

    Yeah. I don’t know if the Bills want to spend nearly $3 million in cap on punters. They’ve blown close to half a million the last week with cuts. Signing a 2+ million punter might not happen.

    Exactly. The Bills had to release him because of PR. They don’t have time to wait for everything to play out. If Matt didn’t do anything he’ll be cleared and on a new team shortly after.
