I wouldn’t say it like that. We need a better 2nd option. We might have that guy on the roster. Dawson Knox IMO can be a 100 target TE. I actually thought they would go that route this year. Also I think a true slot WR is needed. We don’t necessarily have to replace Gabe, just make him a 3rd or 4th option.

We started the season with 2 rookie CBs. 2017 - Tre White started right away 2018 - Josh Allen and Edmunds. Edmunds started right away. 2019 - Ed Oliver started right away 2020 - No 1st 2021 - Rousseau started right away Once again fans create fake drama. If they draft an interior OL I expect that player to start immediately. A WR probably gets mixed in slowly.

They’ve never done anything like that.

That’s always been reality after Josh’s rookie contract. They’re going to have to hit on an interior offensive lineman in the draft. Possibly a safety as well.

Bills drafted for future. They’re going to depend a lot on that draft class next year.

Our pass rush is beyond terrible. It had nothing to do with the DBs.

A lot of head coach OCs get fired also. That’s one narrative this year that is dumb.

My fix? You mean how to beat KC and Cincinnati? You have to win upfront. Get some mean dawgs upfront on OL and DL.

Miami beat the Patriots occasionally and always played them tough.

I hope fans aren’t going to argue about how bad the Bills are this offseason. They need to get better to beat the Chiefs and Bengals but let’s not take that playoff loss and act like we’re the Texans.

McDermott is definitely part of the development. The defense was definitely part of the development as well. The front office as well. The entire organization:

There is zero chance you’ve evaluated every front office and coaching staff. Typically good front offices and coaching staffs win games. So I’ll go by that. Drafting has been ok but I can’t say it’s been better then OK because I see a lot of average players. They’ve invested a lot of draft capital in the DL and there are a lot of average to below average players.

It’s not bad. White will improve. It was predicted he would struggle returning from ACL. They will have to fill a safety spot. Hyde will be good to go. Im sounding like a broken record but the pass rush needs something else outside of Von. We can’t depend on Von to be healthy every game. Our pass rush went from top 5 with Von to bottom 5 without.

I’m good to go with everything excluding the DL and OL. They have to fix the lines. More Da’Quan Jones DTs. Better pass rush schemes. Better pass rushers. Better OL.

Come on man. They aren’t going to be perfect every game. The Bills are one of the best organizations and coaching staffs in the NFL. They have work to do. They aren’t the best.

I watch good teams lose to bad teams all the time, every season.

You mean why they lose to the Chiefs and Bengals in the playoffs. The eye test tells me the DL sucks vs the Chiefs and Bengals in the playoffs. OL a close 2nd. We lose the battle up front.

Without Von, Hyde, a healthy Poyer and White what exactly do we have talent wise on defense?

Let’s just say Chiefs and Bengals. Let’s not act like anyone else beats Buffalo. We’re not beating those teams without a pass rush. Until they face them in the playoffs with a pass rush they aren’t winning.

The defense was considered one of the best analytically. There’s a lot of overreacting that happens when you lose in the playoffs, especially when you don’t show up. It was the first season under McDermott real injuries happened. They still got back to the point they were last year.

That’s not a lot of holes. That’s life in the NFL.

Josh Allen is what he is today because of the coaching he got and the structure around him. The defense beats up on average to bad teams. They would do that with or without Allen.
