  1. Thats just ridiculous. Hes one of the best defensive coaches in the league. One of the best head coaches. He’s just not good in close games.
  2. Denver game. Cover zero lost it for us.
  3. They lost one game by being too aggressive. So… McDermott just isn’t a clutch coach. Everything else I think he’s very good, but clutch moments are not his thing.
  4. This year his defense is elite though. Only reason they’re here.
  5. He’s 3 roster players though. I think he returns at a lower base salary.
  6. Douglas is a possibility. Packers flirted with the idea. Depends on can White play. I think Po could move into Hyde’s role, they were interchangeable. Then sign Jeremy Chinn as that box safety.
  7. If he’s healthy he fills 3 positions for the Bills. 3rd down RB, punt and kick returner. I could see him reducing his base salary.
  8. I don’t think it’s just coaches and QBs. The Bills don’t have a Kelce or Chris Jones. If Chris Jones were on the Bills im confident we’d beat KC at least once in the playoffs. Chris Jones by himself prevented the Bills from scoring a go ahead touchdown with under 2 minutes left. Jones defeated our best offensive lineman.
  9. Locks DL: Rousseau Oliver Jones (re-sign lock) Miller LB: Milano Bernard CB: Douglas Johnson Benford S: Jordan Poyer Spots open: 1 Edge 1 safety spots Free agents the Bills will target: S Jeremy Chinn S Taylor Rapp Edge Leonard Floyd Edge AJ Epenesa Edge Denico Autry
  10. Yes, there’s a lot of dead cap but it’s doable. It’s up to Diggs.
  11. Rumors they’re hiring Brandon Staley. 🤭
  12. It’s basically like restructuring Diggs but you don’t have Diggs. A lot could happen. Like I said it depends on Diggs. If Diggs wants to be here then he will be because it benefits the Bills to keep him. But if he doesn’t the Bills can move on and look for his replacement with the $10 million in cap savings. They’d just have to backload the contract.
  13. June 1st designation. June 1st designation. Still a lot of dead cap because his cap is so high but they’d save $10+ million next year with a still a lot of dead cap. People are afraid of the dead cap but if there are problems within the organization with Diggs the dead cap won’t matter this year.
  14. This year we find out if there’s really any issues with Diggs and the Bills. I know there’s a lot of dead cap but it is possible for the Bills to move on and save over $10 million in cap. That’s significant enough to consider if there are any beefs between the Bills and Diggs. We’ll just have to wait and see.
  15. Playing WR is pretty difficult. I definitely wouldn’t call it an easy position although rookies are having a lot of success lately. So yes it’s probably safe to say that a rookie should come in and have a very productive season with Buffalo.
  16. I said entering this year if they want to keep Diggs producing at a high level into his 30s move him into the slot. Let him cook. How long we keep Diggs is up to Diggs.
  17. Yeah. Kind of reminds me of when the Bills had the chance to get Von Miller the 13 second year but didn’t. Only to go offer a crazy contract in the offseason. You could add OBJ to that as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills make a splash move at WR, even though Beane says no splash. The splash might not be money but draft picks traded to move up.
  18. I do think they want Gabe Davis back at the right price. I don’t think it prevents the Bills from drafting a WR in the 1st. Gabe is a true outside WR2/3. The Bills are in the market for a future WR1 and a true WR2/3.
  19. That’s why Samuel is my free agent target. He can be on the field with Diggs, rookie, Shakir, and Kincaid and scare the crap out of opposing defenses. Im just being conservative with the rookie expectations next year. But yes, they should be starting.
  20. They shouldn’t rely on a late 1st round rookie. I know it’s a deep class and the 7th WR drafted is probably as good as any WR drafted in the first last season but I would still add. That’s why I like Curtis Samuel because he can play every position and won’t block a rookie X or z WR for playing time.
  21. Hard part for a rookie WR is route running and learning a new playbook. Route running is key because a lot of these WRs in college don’t run many routes. Also understanding coverages. The announcers pointed out a great play by Rice for the Chiefs where he sat down on a zone rather than taking it up field. Said earlier in the year he doesn’t read that coverage.
  22. Overpaying? Not sure what you mean? There’s examples every year of WR2’s making impacts. I think you mean overpaying for WR1 in UFA. I mean I can name 2 Bills related players off the top of my head. Beasley was a good signing coming here and Robert Woods was a great signing by LA.
  23. Sherfield and Harty were dart throws. Think more Beasley and John Brown. Crowder had the injuries, but that was his career.
