Offical tribute to the "dink and dunk" passer

3.5 - die roll, or career yards per completion of one kelly holcomb? -
i wonder what the heritability of backup QB's in philly is? Probably not very high, since they just let jeff garcia go.
-
Actually they're not. All the backfield duos have come from a team trying to or preparing to replace one of their backs with a better one.

You are paid to talk football, yet you dont know that Fletcher called the defensive plays last year? And since you insist on wasting bandwidth, try to make something useful out of it and explain how releasing 4 players created 6 holes. Is that some type of HA math?
-
They say that anyone can find a friend on the internet? Not you. You would have been better off not even posting. I know it didnt waste your time, but it definitely wasted the time of the hundreds of good fans that will read this post. And it will definitely waste the bandwidth that SDS pays for on this site. The fact that you took the time to register a mere 2 weeks ago, only to post drivel like this says that any of your "real" friends have long since abandoned you, due to your pessimistic and pathetic attitude. But guess what? No one here likes you either. I guess you can take solace in the fact that a whiney little sniveler like you is finally getting some attention, be it good or bad. The best course of action would probably be to send a check to SDS covering the cost of the bandwidth you wasted, and never post again.

When thinking about all the anti-Buffalo bashing
Ramius replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're fine then, so long as you leave the white women and our ports alone. -
then root for a georgetown-UCLA final. Aside from hating the gators, that matchup works for me from a financial standpoint as well.
-
I despise UF. almost as much as the patsies, dolfins, yankees, or lakers. Gator fans are intolerable. And to top it off, they are STUPID! 4 years in florida, and i have yet to meet an intelligent gator.
-
If that happens, *I* might be in the market for a shopping cart. Fugg UF.
-
If you're going shopping, can you check and see if they have any Ryan Miller jerseys in stock?

I know. Look at the stats, TheRapist #24 has been lighting it up with 2.2 assists per game over the last 5 (his 4 50+ pointers and last night). Last night, while not scoring 50, he did manage to rack up all of 0 assists, while taking triple the number of shots as the next highest player on the team (33 to 11). Way to lead the team Kobe!!! They're going all the way to a first round exit this year. Woohoo! Note: I was actually shocked to find out that Therapist #24 has 4 games with 10 or more assists. I wasnt even sure he had 10 on the season!

Two Bills Drive to the Hoop Pick Em Tourney!!

Looks like if UCLA and G'Town advance to the final, the title is mine...then again, i might need G'town to win it all, because i only checked the guys above me. -
We are now at, where we feared we would be
Ramius replied to daquix's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Re: willis - 3.9 ypc, and 62 yards per game. not too difficult to replace. Re: LB's - how do we need 2 starters form the draft? We have Crowell and Ellison slated to start. We need to find 1 LB in the draft to start, assuming we do trade spikes. Re: CB - how do we need a starting CB from the draft? Youboty is on the roster. Hes not NC, but hes been in the system for a year, meaning we dont NEED a starting CB. Most rookies make a huge jump from year 1 to year 2. They can get better you know. Sorry to interrupt your rant.i'll leave now and let you and badol whisper into each other's ears how bad the bills defense is while giving each other reach-arounds. -
in related news, for the 4th straight game, the rest of the lakers team combined to take less that 5 shots the entire game.

During the peer review here in the US, results arent duplicated. A reviewer will look for completeness of a research paper, sound methodology, and a complete set of experiments run by the original researcher. A reviewer can recommend that some more experiments be completed before publication, but the reviewer themsellves dont actually replicate anything. The problem i've had with the japanese and chinese papers is that they provide only trivial data to support their claims, and their claims arent falsifiable. I did not get the results they got, and no one in the US has, but you either get their results or you dont. theres no possible way to prove their research "wrong" per say. Also, with their data that i saw, they used a lot of cellular staining images (where they use fluorescence to tag a specific protein) to prove their results. The problem is that you can easily manipulate those digital images to make a negative signal look positive, or you can amplify a very weak signal to make it look stronger.

I would watch a TV show with stupid people, however, if it involved the stupid people potentially getting maimed. Call it "Are you too stupid to escape death?" Put a person in a chamber, and make them solve a crossword, or do a sudoku puzzle, or answer some trivia questions. Make it timed, so if they arent successful, the chamber fills with nerve gas. For some reason, our society thinks that stupid is a badge of honor to be worn and displayed proudly. The current trend seems to be how little someone needs to do to win a sh--load of money that they are going to blow in 2 years. Its like "Deal or No Deal?" Why the hell do i want to watch people open a suitcase, and then lose all their money because they are greedy !@#$s? The best part of that show is watching some schmuck pass up $250K+ and end up with $300. What would make the show better would be if they re-named it "Deal, No Deal, or Bomb". Make the contestants open their own suitcases. Place explosives in one of the suitcases that dentonate upon opening. Hilarity ensues. At least people would to earn their money then.
-
on a related note, how many people watch jeopardy? I know i do. I'd much rather watch knowledgeable people try to answer tough questions. I see stupid people everyday here at work. i dont need to watch a TV show about them. i live the show.

everyone knew carr was going to be cut, hence the reason for no trade. But the PP scenario happens a lot more often that you want to recognize. PP was franchise tagged, not transition tagged, then traded. Same thing happened with John Abraham last year. Franchise tag and trade. It may happen this year with charles grant, asante samuel, or lance briggs. This is completely different than the carr situation. With carr, everyone knew the texans couldnt/wouldnt keep him, so it was a matter of a waiting game. With respect to the franchise tag, the teams ARE going to keep those players, and hence the need for a trade. Briggs can whine all he wants, but Chicago WILL keep and wont release him, with or without trading him. With carr, he was gone regardless.
-
I expect to see Carr in Minny by early next week.

I'm scared enough by the publications coming out of china and japan, let alone the actual fruits of their research. Nothing like reading a paper making claim A, not disclosing the methods they used, using trivial data, leaving out other data, and assuming a full conclusion. That seems par for the course over in the far east.

Are Illegal Immigrants Good Or Bad For Economy?
Ramius replied to molson_golden2002's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
100+ pages of HA's drivel all summed up neatly into a paragraph. Good work Tom. Add in something about running power lines and burning cornstalks, and you;ve got something even Dean McCheese would be proud of. You could have graduated MagnaCumNugget with that theory. -
North Korea Nuclear Weapons Talks Break Down
Ramius replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
on the plus side, nuclear winter would quickly put an end to this whole global warming debate.
