  1. Dude, of COURSE I'd be more excited about a football player being here than I would a bunch of trannies. She was so damn hot back in the 80s.... BTW, definitely not Ocho... http://www.bengals.com/team/cheerleaders/Megan/0fe6bbfa-7419-4bf2-9c53-0d368fe25452
  2. I need to echo one of Vader's excellent recommendations...last night he suggested I watch "Day Night, Day Night". I really hadn't planned to see it until this weekend, but thought I'd watch about half of it before bed and finish if the next day. Well, I ended up being pretty into it, and the last 30 minutes were absolutely riveting. There is very little dialogue, and the first half of the film is not for those who only feast on popcorn flicks or films with lots of shiny objects to focus on. It's basically an art film, so adjust your expectations accordingly. IMO it's a very solid, fascinating piece and as Vader suggested to me before I watched it, it offers up a lot to talk about post-viewing.
  3. lol, not even sure to be honest
  4. I hope that spoiler is dead on accurate, cause if it's true, and that actually happens, then it will get dealt with QUICKLY and PERMANENTLY.
  5. I can neither confirm nor deny He may not even care if I say it....I'll check with him tomorrow. I know probably nobody really cares one way or the other, but I'll check anyway lol
  6. Dude, you can trust me that I wouldn't betray you like that...not only did he see the error in his ways and left the Dolphins, the only significant injury he's sustained was when he played the Bills. So he learned his lesson...I have granted him forgiveness and I think you should, too! (If Jim Kelly shows up with him I'd consider it)
  7. Well, he's here to play the Falcons, and a very good friend of mine is a massage therapist. He's been her client for years and they're friends, and tomorrow she's setting up shop at my place. So he'll be here for probably about 90 min for the massage and then about a half hour of shooting the breeze. Just kinda cool to have an active NFL player hanging out at my pad
  8. Nooooo....not a real live, ferocious Bengal tiger. I know probably many of you thought i meant a live tiger and perhaps I would be in grave danger. Rest assured, my friends....there are no tigers here. An NFL veteran of the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals will be literally in my apartment tomorrow for about two hours. I will not breach professional trust and name names, of course, but it's kind of cool to be in the presence of NFL mediocrity. And by the way, somehow this particular player has been able to break the trend of NFL players going bankrupt and having eight baby mamas to allocate their hard earned money to...AMAZING!!!!
  9. LOL, that's what happens when I type faster than I think Balls it is! Can't wait to expose my balls to my female coworkers Seems like too many times in this country people want to blame a symptom of the cause instead of addressing the cause itself. It's not that hard to keep something out of a child's reach. Their position on this matter is asinine.
  10. I'd rather see us trade for my boy Tyrod Taylor!
  11. Do you recommend the balls or the cubes for the first time bucky baller? And for the record, though I feel HORRIBLE for the young children who suffered after their parents were irresponsible enough to allow these awesome gadgets to come into arms reach of them. these CPSC people are complete tools for pursuing this. I don't know what else BuckyBalls execs could do aside from showing up at your house and babysitting your kid for you. This is a waste of everyones time, and I'm quite certain there are legitimate risks impacting children that need their attention. Leave adult toys to adults.
  12. I was thinking these were those feng shui balls that you sort of roll around in your hands for exercise...I've never seen these before...I'm going to buy a pair in support of this nonsense...
  13. I agree. Seems like Walt used to have to temper Jesse back in the earlier seasons, and now it's the opposite.
  14. lol, apparently they're there somewhere yes, I'm sure the last ten minutes of the finale will be amazing...just like last year....as for the first 50 mins...well, one can hope I suppose. I guess we have a different idea of what story line is....I prefer story lines that are interesting and actually advance the show. Instead of getting more involved with the whole "skidders are VICTIMS, let's join up with them and fight the stretchy guys!", we are left with some chick and a guy talking about how she had a drug problem and how he wasn't reacting more to her emotionally...and then JUST when we get word that something really cool is going on outisde, with the red-eyed skidder having sent a messenger to talk to Tom and his crew about a new exciting strategy, the guy from Lost shows up and puts the kabosh on it just long enough to burn off the rest of the episode so that we can then be treated to how AMAZING the finale will be....when some of that amazingness should have been allocated to THIS episode. So I guess the bar is set pretty low right now then lol See, you make a great point, and if they would just allow that threat to take on a bit more substance I wouldn't be as critical of it. I've seen plenty of movies where the cool stuff was only on screen for a very small percentage of the time. But they do an effective job of keeping you on edge the entire time, because that's how it's portrayed on screen. An example that comes to mind is Spielberg's War of the Worlds. Very, very little alien footage in that film...but you have Tom Cruise's character pretty much crapping himself the entire running time. You have people screaming for their lives because they know DAMN WELL that their entire existence is at stake. Tom Cruise is in the basement trying to protect his daughter from screaming when the aliens are outside trying to find people to toss them in the giant people juicer, and all of a sudden the Tim Robbins character gets some wise ideas about going on the offensive....so now you have Tom sharting himself from the mere threat of aliens in general, plus the suspense of prevening a child from naturally reacting to fear, which may give away their location, compounded by some crazy guy with a shovel or whatever he had threatening to go b.harami on everyone. Now THAT is how you keep people interested! Contrast that with Falling Skies, where you have people who seem, at times, to have such little concern over their predicament that they have time to spend ten minutes talking about who will take this bed or that one, how one guy was really sad that he had to see some people get killed when he was in the military ( ) and just wasn't sure he wanted to join up with the "military" to fight the aliens (do the aliens only go after the military guys? I must have missed that part), and all sorts of other boring conversational fluff that just serves to bring the show to a screeching halt and cause someone like me to really get frustrated. This show needs more tGreg.
  15. Wow, what a list! Some of these groupings of actors are just amazing... I read part of an interview with Shia LeBeouf (however you spell his damn name) tonight where he said he's retired from studio films and plans to do only indys from now on. I'll always make time for the popcorn flick, but I have to say that the shift to lower budget indy flicks over the last ten or fifteen years, and especially with the way some of these festivals have flourished, has really been exciting for the film fan. I remember when I first moved to Atlanta in '99, I was staying with my family until I decided if I was going to stay or go back to Philly. One night I was playing around on their cable, which had more channels than I'd ever seen, and I came across one called "IFC". Of course, most of us know what that channel is today, but back then I had no idea. I read up on it a bit and then started looking through the descriptions of the films. At that time, you had pretty much all unknown or lesser known actors in these films, so all these faces were new to me. I sat down to watch a film called "Trust" with martin donovan and I found myself pretty engrossed in what was going on. I really latched on to the freedom and license that these filmmakers had and it was great to see non-cookie cutter films that you just could never tell where they were going. Now, of course, you have mainstream actors all over the indys, which Im fine with as long as they dont ever try to infuse elements from the studio side into the indy side. Anyway, just rambling...great list...can't wait to check out some of these potential gems!
  16. LMAO!!!! Gotta love this kid
  17. "Whoooooooooaaaaahhhhh" -Ted "Theodore" Logan No sh*t? I'm totally serious...I've had dreams about that. Every chinese "restaurant" has a whole aresnal of weapons beneath it...once they get enough of them in position, "checkmate" -Jeff Goldblum from ID4
  18. Do you guys think its feasible that all chinese restaurants are actually small military outposts?
  19. Okay, I guess it's just me then lol...I"m glad you guys are enjoying it...wish I could, too!
  20. Hugs to you on your special day, Harriet!!!!!!!!
  21. I go there a lot
  22. This is my HBO http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/internet/hard_knocks/season_7.html
  23. so you guys liked this last episode?
  24. Nice, glad you liked it! What you wrote in the spoiler tags was a big reason why I enjoyed the film...I used to really get frustrated with endings like that, but this one pulled it off in a manner that really prompted discussion. One of my favorite indy films of the last couple years for sure. Don't think she does, but you never know with Lana...she's very sneaky in addition to her gas.
