I'm with you. I'm just glad that this person finally has finally decided to make a move! S/he was boring the hell out of me! Today will be very telling...I didn't see much of it (mostly just youtube clips) but last night was one of the best nights of the live feed not just this season, but any season of the last few, from what I'm told. This is exactly what the show needs for a strong ending. EDIT: Good call on the impact of the olympics on ratings, by the way....last night's episode was the highest rated one of the year, even beating the season premiere.

Thanks for the reminder

Bills to acquire Tarvaris Jackson

If we got him for a 7, then Im sorry but there is no room to criticize this move. I'd much rather have TJax as our #2 than VY. And I'm find with B.Smith in the #3 role. Fitzy's job wasn't open to competition anyway, so he deserves to play the first few games of the season at least before people start charging the gates with pitchforks and torches. -

That's a good point...I've always wondered about those lock boxes and if they are completely private. I couldn't tell if the lady locked the door behind her or if anyone could just walk in while he was dishing out the green. -

Nice! I'm totally bummed that we're at episode 8 already, and we have to go back into withdrawal again next Monday, but I trust Gilligan will have us doing a lot of "holy sh*t!!!!s" next week. No doubt....the lawyer was totally clueless....that cookie monster bank lady had the worst poker face of all time on that 2nd trip. And then his reaction to Gomez was just like, "oh, hey...." lol. I dunno, maybe he's comfortable in his position of leverage? -
We're lucky enough not to have any players who either are, or think they are, bigger than the franchise. That would change if Tebow were here, and he's just not good enough to deserve that sort of label. For the backup spot, TJax is a very good option.

Wow, I just can't understand this perspective at all. Were you feeling this way during the first half of last season? -

Don't take this the wrong way...but get the F**K out of this thread!!!!! (you'll thank me later!) I was a little disappointed by it, actually. I thought it was too convenient for it to go down that way. You have Mike ALWAYS on top of things. He crosses his T's and dots his I's, and he always errs on the side of caution. In fact, just last week we have him going out of the way to protect his interests from Walt, and then nearly shooting him when he realized that Walt not only tried to escape and mess up Mike's plans, but actually succeeded in taking complete control of the situation. So now you have Mike completely cool with Walt picking up is "go bag", even though it has a loaded weapon, and then approaching Walt without having his gun drawn? And then after things get heated, he turns his back on Walt and heads toward his car, and then once he's in there he completely ignores Walts whereabouts while he goes through the bag? I'm sorry, but that's just not sitting well with me. Mike would never do that. -
Wow, BIG TIME drama going on in the BB house tonight!!! If anyone wants a link to the live feed, send me a PM. But if nothing else, be sure to watch on Wed for the fallout!

And you don't think that when you look at VY and Thigpen stinking it up? -
As for the last drive, I'm just not going to get upset about a 2x super bowl winning QB completely a pass in a preseason game that would probably actually be caught maybe once or twice out of ten times. The D probably got caught letting up, thinking Pitt was going to end up punting and the half would end. I just don't care about it at all. If it happens in a game that counts, then I'll get pissed about it then. As far as I'm concerned, the D showed that they will be a force to be reckoned with, especially once Wanny actually puts in a 60 minute game plan. We stuffed their running game for an entire half, we're healthy, and we got good pressure on Ben. That's what I'm focusing on.

I'm really at a loss as to how some of you are reacting. We upgraded the BACK-UP QB SPOT. How the fug is that a bad thing? Philly wanted nothing to do with VY after last year....I'd much rather have TJax on board than VY or Thigpen. The starting QB job was NEVER open for competition and we haven't even gotten to week one yet. I think some of you guys need a little perspective. Even though I want nothing more than for Fitz to succeed, I recognize that he may not be the answer. But this move today has zippo to do with that.... *ALERT* Moving to DEFCON 3 on the b.harami meltdown scare Holy crap....I'm really proud of that kid. Good for him. He's got a heart the size of Ralph Wilson Stadium.... -

lol, understandable. I don't know why, but I was hoping we'd trade for him. -

Would anyone rather we sent a 5th to Snyder for Rex? -
Dr.D: Great job! Play # 12 is the one I cited in my post where he ends up on the ground. I think people happened to see this play and then came rushing to TBD saying how much he sucks. I know it's cliche, anyone who actually WATCHED the game last night knows that Shep looked improved. Thanks for taking the time to break it down!

Everything okay dude?

lol@"not sure how to do first aid for an ankle not attached to your leg" That's one tough biatch.

I hate to break it to you, but your woman has been cheating on your for years.
-
I don't know how many running plays they had, but BB.com is reporting that our 1st string D held Pitt to 1.9ypc in the first half. I guess we were doing something right.
-
I saw one play when Pitt was deep in our territory where he was engaged 1:1 with one of Pitts starting Olinemen, and he got pancaked. Even Ray Lewis will lose a 1:1 with a 320lb lineman from time to time. This

I was really happy with how Shep looked tonight...very active, diagnosed the play quickly, took good pursuit angles, etc...I think he'll be fine.

As others said, a true American hero...RIP, Neil!!!

Yep, our safeties are going to have a big year potentially....we should be able to cheat them up early and often...put Tommy on his backside!!!
