  1. Next year, if SJ13 is covered....and LE83 is covered...frickin ME81 WILL TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE, BABY!!!!
  2. There were a lot of big time plays over this long Thanksgiving weekend, but this was probably my favorite. Talk about awareness! http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5857742 If you guys have some other great plays that you liked, post em below...it's crunch time in college ball, baby!!!
  3. I'd be all in favor of changing the scoring system to get rid of the kickers, man...so sounds good to me! lol Yeah, that's the bottom line for sure...I was going to complain more, but then I saw that quote in your sig LMAO Lou Holtz is my favorite coach of all time!!
  4. You bring up another good point....why the fug do we need a kicker AND a punter? Are you telling me that these kickers can't also punt the damn ball?? These are professional athletes for gosh sakes...
  5. For a Lakers fan, you make a lot of sense
  6. Yeah, probably most people feel that way. I don't have any attachment to Boise, but it just seemed like something wasn't right in the world when their hopes for a national title were just sent down the crapper because they have an idiot kicker who can't make a single frickin FG from 25 yards. Not only did he have one chance, but TWO, and the dude still couldn't finish. The Boise team and fan base must be SICK in their stomachs over that
  7. The kid is 6'6"?? The guy interviewing him yesterday must have been tall as heck then, cause Kaepernick didn't look that tall at all. Weird.
  8. So you're saying that kickers are the FOUNDATION of the game? Oh man, this isn't good...
  9. Yes, I sure did. Results are talked about all the time on this board. There is no way to have any clue who has watched what...any moron knows that.
  10. Sorry man, I forgot to call you and check which games you've watched and which ones you haven't. I got around to the other thousands of TBD'ers, but somehow you slipped my mind. Won't happen again.
  11. I've about had it with kickers ruining the game. I don't even need to recount the history of kicker issues we as Bills fans have had to endure, but even just the past 24hr of football have just been embarrassing! This needs to be stopped! Boise St hasn't lost a game in like six years until they have to rely on a kicker to do his damn job. Not only does this idiot miss a chip shot field goal to win the game, he misses ANOTHER CHIP SHOT FG to win in OT. And then to add insult to injury, Boise loses when the OTHER teams kicker makes a kick. Just a few mins ago in the Georgia v Georgia Tech game, Tech comes fighing back to seemingly tie the game up at 35, but NOOOOOOOOO....the KICKER has OTHER ideas and decides to screw his team by missing the damn XP. Stop the MADNESS!!!
  12. Eric Wood was taken in the first round, too. So 8.
  13. I didn't see this game, but I'll just say that anyone who was making the point that we shouldn't draft Mallett, I totally agree! Oh, and that video was an interesting piece. I'm obviously biased in favor of NOT drafting this guy, but the last thing we need in B-lo is an immaturity issue. That's great that he's embarrassed at some of his past behavior and that he's trying to overcome it, but there is the Phillip Rivers type of emotional leadership and there's the Ryan Leaf version. Mallett's is probably somewhere in between, but leans more toward the Leaf version, IMO.
  14. ah-HA!!! I KNEW you were a robot!
  15. Cam Newton is a playmaker for sure, but Oregon is a fun team to watch. I've been paying attention to some of the teams out West since I've wanted to see more of Luck and Locker, and I've seen a few of the Ducks games as a result. This is a pretty well rounded team and they are really entertaining. I'd love to see them play Auburn in the title game
  16. Frickin kickers,man....I hate seeing them go down because they had to rely on a kicker. They really need to outlaw these fake football players.
  17. Yep, once cardiac death hits, the window is pretty much gone. Organs need to be perfused in order to remain viable, so with cardiac death that obviously stops. That's why I say there aren't really as many opportunities to harvest as people think. If they are lucky enough to harvest, and tissue death hasn't occurred, then you have a small window (when the organs are in the cooler) while on ice to get them to their new recipient, and hopefully get the blood flowing through them again. These teams are VERY well organized and move at the drop of a hat, and it's very interesting to see how the process works. I think it's good for people to be aware of these issues ahead of time, as you mentioned. Also, it's a WHOLE lot more than 4 people that can be helped by one single donor. I don't remember the number, but it's a lot of folks who can benefit.
  18. lol, what??
  19. Heckuva game! Gonna play some xbox with Lana, then watch the Boise/Nevada game, then fire up the Expendables on my HT rig.... I got-ta FEE-LING...that to-NITE'S GON-na be aaaaaaa GOOOOD nite.... /Black Eyed Peas
  20. RIP combo player. Helloooooo BLURAY!!!!
  21. I'll tell you why it's incredible... I have had some experience with this having worked in hospitals the better part of the last ten years. For anyone, especially a parent of a young person or, God forbid, a child, the mere shock of their death is enough for anyone to handle. There is a very small window where organs and tissue can be harvested, and there aren't all that many viable candidates to begin with depending on the circumstances of the death. That being said, it is NOT an easy thing to do to say, "sure, I just found out that my child is dead, but yeah, go ahead and take out all his organs, take some skin issue, maybe a cornea or two, etc." The conversation is VERY, VERY difficult and uncomfortable. I give anyone, especially a mother, all the respect in the world when they can find the inner strength to let go and agree to the organ donation. It's really not something to be made light of at all (not saying you're doing that, just making a general statement).
  22. DUDE, at least stick around for a game of tardball!!!! Just ONE game!!!
  23. The decision is always left up to family. Doesn't matter what your drivers license says...it has no bearing at all on whether they can harvest your organs. Next of kin has the final say.
  24. Holy crap! Did Shadowcat just create the past tense of Thanksgiving??
