That's a great idea.

You want to make sure he's dead before you bring him to the hospital so you can freak out the nurses. If anyone knows of someoen who attended Honeoye Falls-Lima HS outside Rochester, there is an instructor there named Mr. Moore (don't recall his first name). Anyway, this guy taught a class that most people took cause it was an easy A, but also because it was just a lot of fun and very interesting. This guy lived off the land and was really into road kill. He would talk about picking dead animals up and bringing them home to eat, as long as they were relatively "fresh". Anyway, I'm still grossed out by this, but one day he came in and started talking about how excited he was because the night before he had the chance to finally try the "tail meat" of some animal that I can't remember. He was goign into detail about how disappointed he was because it ended up being "really fatty" and not very tasty But the rest of the time he taught us how to make jerky, candles, survival kits, and things like that...interesting dude. But yeah, don't touch the deer unless he's dead. Trust me.

Barkley's decision comes this afternoon...
ajzepp replied to Bronc24's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't want Cam or Gabbert this year, but would have no problem at all if we selected this kid. He's got some game. Sports radio folks have been making the point that it wouldn't be as good of a situation for him next season since Kalil won't be there to protect his blind side. I guess we'll have to see, though. We need to get a stud player with our top pick next year, whether this kid comes out or not. -
LOL

That article is really poorly written. What exactly is the link between taking the deer to the hospital and driving while intoxicated? Was he drinking beforehand or soemething? What exactly led the officer to suspect he was drunk? Anyway, it's actually a good thing he got cited here...that way he won't ever try this again with regard to the deer. As much of an animal lover as I am, it's REALLY dumb to mess with an injured deer. There was a case near where I lived in Rochester where a man did something similar. The deer freaked, and his hoof ended up slicing open the man's jugular. You should never try to pick up an injured deer unless you are 100% sure it's a goner.

I watched the final performances last night and thought that having the stars sing with them was really a bad idea. If I had 5mil on the line and was in competition with two others, there's no WAY I'd want to have celebrities messing with that. Not only must it have been really uncomfortable for the contestants, but it could really screw with the voting. What happens if a fan of Melanie Amaro hates R.Kelly because of his pedophile issues or whatever, and they end up not voting as a result of that? What if someone isn't really much of a fan of Chris Rene, but they happen to be a huge fan of (frickin) Avril Levigne and so they decide to vote for him because of her involvement? And then to only get one song after that? I dunno, I think the celebrities should be restricted to the results show/finale. I didn't think any of the duets were particularly good anyway, although I have to say Alanis was looking hotter than I've ever seen her look. I have no idea how this vote will go...I want to see my boy Josh take home the five mil, but I think it may end up being Melanie.

Yep, I heard season 1 sucked, too... Check this out, man... www.bigbrotherarchives.com ENJOY!

That was a great season, too. I usually cite Season 2 because back then you didn't have the power of veto competition where you could fight to take yourself off the eviction block. Will was nominated like four or five times, but he was like Teflon...it was just a brilliamt game by the evil Doctor. Rico: I think I may have a link to all the BB seasons that someone has taken the time to archive. When I get home from work today I'll look for it and post it here if I find it. It's really a very entertaining season, and the one that got me hooked on the show (I never saw S1).

If you want to see true mastery in reality television, rent Big Brother 2 sometime...Dr Will is the greatest

Oh wow...I didn't start watching Survivor until 2007, so I missed that. That's ridiculous!
-
WHAT?? They gave him a million?? I must have missed that. I remember him winning fan favorite or something but not the amount. That's ridiculous. Only winners should get that much.

Gotta love this guy's name as a Buffalo Bill

I haven't seen much of Mercilus, but have seen plenty of Mr. Upshaw's work...he'd be an immediate and dramatic upgrade to our defense. -
Russel's first loss was the biggest disgrace in the show's history. That girl LITERALLY did absolutely nothing except be a willing participant in his "dumbass girl alliance" lmao.

Cell Phone What do you have LIke it or not

LOL, I know right? This reminds me, I need to go back and watch that made for tV movie about Apple and Microsoft. It had like Anthony Michael Hall playing Bill Gates and I think Noah Wylie or someone playing Jobs. It was pretty interesting and I think it was based off a bestselling book. -
LOL, good point

Interesting article. Here's something else Apple didn't invent: Bitterness -
I think it's "part" of the game, sure...but the social game has become the main focus in terms of who is chosen as the winner, and I think that's wrong. I feel that the winner of the game should be the person you think BEST exemplifies the term "sole survivor", and that these people should have enough respect for the game that they vote with their heads, not with their hearts or vaginas. LOL

I echo KD's sentiments... (holy crap, 30 THOUSAND???)

2012 Summer Movie Trailers: Dictator, Rock of Ages....
ajzepp replied to Mark Vader's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Speaking of tidbits, I just read a report that the producers for the Bond franchise are close to securing Daniel Craig for a five film deal, in addition to the Bond flick that comes out in 2012 (Skyfall). I don't know about you guys, but this is great news to me. I grew up on Bond films and Craig has already become my favorite to play the role. -
2012 Summer Movie Trailers: Dictator, Rock of Ages....

I thought the first GI Joe film was entertaining, although it didn't really trigger much in terms of nostalgia for me (which I really thought it would). That trailer for the second one looks pretty good. You can never go wrong with the Rock I had no idea they were making another MIB film...Josh Brolin looks EXACTLY like a young Tommy Lee Jones in that trailer, but not sure if the concept is going to work. Time travel has been done to death, and even though I tend to like that concept, I'm not sure it will work here...I'll probably let reviews from fellow TBD'ers dictate whether that's a theater trip or dvd rental. And I totally forgot about Sacha Baron Cohen...the most polarizing figure in comedy! I'm an unabashed Cohen fan, so I can't wait to see this offering. I tend to prefer his less scripted efforts though, so not sure how this will come off. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in the Freddy Mercury biopic, which I think has begun production. That has the chance of being an amazing film, and he's perfect for the role. -
lol, sandra....AAARRRGHHHHH  I thought you made that up!!! LOL, that's the most awesomely candid quote of all time! Where was that coach during the game??? lol
-
It's technically impossible in it's current state, but why is it retarded? The fans usually get it right. I think most of these jury members are collectively retarded!
-
I thought it was sort of silly, too. I know Ozzy is popular, but he got way too much attention last night.
-
That's very interesting to me...can you elaboarate more about coach vs russell? Are you saying because coach was preachy about his strategy and sort of put it out there for everyone to see, than when you fail to live up to it you deserve to not win? Whereas with Russell a lot of it was behind the scenes manipulation? You're right, we do tend to see things similarly quite often, so I'm interested to hear more about this. I know you don't believe me, but look...Jack agreed. If you can't trust me, you can certainly trust Jack! It's actually true. There was a whole article written about it. That's why Jeff prompted Ozzy to talk about lessons for kids during the finale, to help offset some of the negative press they endured as a result of this. Wow...that makes Ozzy even more of a douche given that he voted against coach. And I'm shocked about Edna...this is just further proof that these morons are just sensitive little babies.
