I just finished watching a 12 inning fight between my Braves and the Cards. This was one of the best games I've seen in a long time. The Braves are a different team this year...very scrappy. The bats are already far more lively than they were at any time last season and our lineup is solid. We're going to contend this year for sure, and we may even take the NL East. The Cards are a team a have a ton of respect for and Beltran almost took the game over tonight all by himself. Helluva game...can't wait to watch the rest of this series!

lol, yeah I have a hard time giving Sandra any more props that I already have...kudos to her for winning it twice, though Speaking of Heidik, he's the one player I'm not familiar with. I looked him up and seems like it was the Thailand season when he was on. So last night I found a really cool site that has all the past seasons online and I'm three episodes into S5. They also have all the seasons of Amazing race and a ton of other stuff....I'm going to watch S2 of AR this weekend. Fairplay definitely had the best move in the history of Survivor...hell, probably the best move in the history of reality tv in general lol. That clip never gets old Chelsea is definitely the resident hottie this season...she's one of the rare ladies who still look fantastic even after being stuck on an island for a month. Basically everyone ganged up on him immediately during his all-stars season...it was out of respect for how devious he was in the first season. I didn't know he smuggled matches in his arse...that's hilarious.

lol, I just hope the Sixers put up a respectable fight...Celts obviously are battle tested with far more post season experience...but we play good team D and have some talent. I don't watch much hoops during the regular season, but I LOVE the NBA playoffs Philly teams having solid years...just wish we could get one of them over the top! It'll probably be the one Philly team I don't care for - the Phillies - who will win it all lol.

I just don't see it. Not only is Kim among the worst group of "survivors" ever, but what great moves has she made? When I think of the great players, I think of people who have been able to manipulate on more than one level and bring about an outcome that is favorable to them, while at the same time preserving their spot in the game. That's why I've always ranked Russel as the best player. The guy manipulated EVERYONE and could basically get anything to happen. He met his match a bit the 2nd time around with Parv, who is also one of the best ever, but I don't see many people who have been able to completely mind-fug the entire tribe on a consistent basis. I don't see Kim really masterminding much of anything. That said, I don't think she's really NEEDED to, either. Nobody can keep their damn mouth shut this season, so the minute someone says something, there is Christina or Alicia right there just spewing out the play by play to Kim. I totally don't get it. I have seen almost all the seasons of Survivor, and I wouldn't put Kim in my top 10...probably not even the top 15. She hasn't done anything near what poeple like Parvati, Russel, Boston Rob, Hatch, and even Sandra have done. Rico knows that I consider Sandra the most overrated winner ever, but I can think of plenty of times when she was strategtizing behind the scenes and able to maneuver herself in the game. Kim is a cutie, but she's not a great survivor.

*VICTORY DANCE!!!!!* Gotta enjoy this one while it lasts, cause I don't think we'll make it past the Celts...but that being said, well done boys!! I have to admit I "lol'd" today when I was listening to Anthony Gargano on WIP. He had on a radio guy from Chicago who said he was advising the Bulls coach on strategy...his plan was basically to let Iguodala take as many shots as possible and the Bulls would surely win. AI2's percentage is horrible, but I admit I'm a fan...and he loves playing in Philly. There's no way we win a game if Rose was playing, but still...this team is young and scrappy and I like the direction we're going in.

That episode was lame. I agree, Jack, about the fish puzzle and about Probst not knowing his basic math. I'm also glad Tarzan admitted to the guys that he was helping the girls all along...loved it when he got the bird. There have been a lot of dumbass moves this season, but Tarzan was just taking up space. And why is it that these women act so surprised that someone may be actually trying to "play them"? I swear, has ANYONE on the show this season ever seen Survivor before? These women go around spilling the beans literally within five minutes of talking to someone, and they act completely shocked when they get an inkling that somone may actually be attempting to strategize. Of course, the one who actually IS trying to play the game is the one person they are oblivious to... I always love finale Sunday, but I'm really just looking forward to Kim winning and moving on to next season. Hpefully whoever casted this pack of gems was fired.

Just watched the show...one of the baby mamas was receiving 20k a month in support for at least six years. To one of the other ones, Dr. Phil asked if she had received over a million in support and she quickly said yes and changed the subject. I'm sorry, but if you pay me 20k/month for six years, I'll take great care of all FOUR children and find a way to retire comfortably at the same time. I don't have any sympathy for T.O., cause he's a grown man who should know better. But these baby mamas are just as pathetic, IMO.

Can't do Firefly w/out Mal, though, that's for sure There's been a significant amount of word of mouth and grass roots Firefly/Serenity stuff going on since the film...I would imagine there is more of a fan base there to tap into than they realize. If you see the ship, let us know!

I saw this one when I was watching some crap movie the other night and it's also a bit of a re-tread... An old man is at the doctor's office. The doctor says, "okay Mr. Smith, I need a stool sample, a urine sample, a blood sample, and some semen". The old man has a puzzled look on his face and looks over at his wife, who says, "the doctor wants your underwear".

This is just a rumor, so don't shoot the messenger...but apparently Whedon put the Firefly ship somewhere in the Avengers film and there are people who have reported seeing it. Second, Whedon has apparently also been on record RECENTLY indicating he's hopeful that the Firefly series will get a 2nd chance at life, with the possible suitor being, of all things, Netflix. Apparently Netflix is interested in picking up shows that died a premature death and producing them. I don't have a source for this, this is all just speculation and rumor...but I thought it was interesting for those who love the Firefly/Serenity universe.

I'm actually guessing that the final two will be Arsenio and Aubrey. I think they gave it away in the preview for next week, so I'm calling for Clay to be fired next, even though I think he should probably be in the finals. I agree about Lou...if he's not back, that's lame...though maybe he didn't want to come back? The thing with Aubrey is that she's developed a reputation for being very smart and creative, yet she's almost always on the losing team. She's definitely self-centered, but I don't think it bothers her lol

Oh man, we are basically the beneficiary of the Noah and Rose injuries on the Bulls, but hey, all we can do is beat the team they put in front of us, right? I don't know that we have the firepower to get past the 2nd round, especially since our 3-pt shooting is abysmal....but we'll play good D, that's for sure! Winning three in a row against Brodeur would be some rough waters...I think you're right that the ride may be over...really a bummer since they were starting to just explode on offense. Oh well...another good run by the boys in orange!

Wow, I hope CBS does this 2hr finale from now on...talk about a great ride! Congrats to Private Dave and Rachel...they essentially did the last challenge THREE times, plus they added a 1/2 mile hike, and STILL won...very impressive! I'm so glad that Brenchel didn't win...I've honestly had all I can take of Rachel...I was a fan of hers this last BB, but her whining and biatching these last two hours put me over the top...I really thought Brendan was gonna sock her in the noggon.
