New Nickname for Trent EdwardsDieHardBillsFan replied to Williams+Williams+Williams's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives How about "T Money"

This year looked like a favorable schedule but looking today at ESPN rankings our season has been a gift. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking...2008&week=8 Only 4 games the Bills play or played this year will be among the top 16 teams. Arizona the highest ranked at 8th. Playing ranks 24-30 and playing 26 twice (Dolfags) which is 8 games right there. Course in the end you have to remember the top team in the NFL always seem to have the easiest schedule but you also have to consider they gave most of those teams losses.

Good point. Just think what we would have done if a healthy Aaron Schobel was playing too!

Offensive Line......WOWDieHardBillsFan replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Agreed. The way his year is going he is getting 1 yard for every broken tackle. For Lynch the yards after broken tackle and yards per broken tackle will both be much more defining then his total yards on the season.

Sorry fish fan but this Bills fan is stampeding to Miami Sunday. Who is with me? I'll be in the 5th row back of the endzone!

Offensive Line......WOWDieHardBillsFan replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I saw one play where Jason Peter's threw his man to the ground hard. Our hopes of him using the 2 weeks to catch up came to be true. Why is it the O-line blocks so well in passing and horribly in the run. I'm was so happy when Lynch finally got a whole late in the game and ran for about 19 yards. Seemed like his long run of the season. I completely understood why he dropped to the ground in exhaustion after his touchdown. That guy works hard out there, alot harder then most RB's.

Bills jump to 4th in ESPN Power RankingsDieHardBillsFan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Well be happy NFL.com has us at 11th

Exactly! without a suspension the Team is laughing paying the fine and patting him on the back saying "Thank you for the WIN!" Might as well not even given a fine.

The difference the Bills would have lost to NE that game anyway. IF Trent was still QBing the Arizona game they might have held the ball for half the game or more, better chance of winning if you have the ball. Notice how much a quick TD helps a game...Ask the Raiders. Almost wish Losman just miffed from the start instead of giving us false hope, not that the defense did their part. I'm still holding back on blaming them a little because the Bills just plain look like last years Bills out there with Losman playing.

another power ranking to annoy youDieHardBillsFan replied to bigbillsfan12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives "If they somehow manage to get by the Cardinals on Sunday, anything could happen." What!?! Yes he said he likes everything about the Bills but doubts them against the Cardinals!?!

The Bills are putting themselves in a bad positionDieHardBillsFan replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in Off the Wall Archives I'm sure during the last game of the Season last year the Patriots were thinking the same thing playing the Giants. If your 16-0 there aren't any ties... Keep Winning and GO BILLS!!!

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/60622-n...thought-nuggets Guess final performance is more noticeable then keeping a bad team close. This surprised me, but makes you look a little more at that Denver game 2nd last of the year.

When I saw them take a knee with 40 or so seconds left in the half I knew we were going to win. I was telling people "that looked familiar." Taking a knee, playing not to lose is the Bills of old and EXACTLY how the Raiders looked Sunday. They started run run pass at the end of the 4th to try to run the clock and even ran 3 times on their last possession or one of the late ones. Bills use to play not to lose but this years Bills play to win!!! Thank you Trent Edwards!!!

Going To Jacksonville - anybody else?DieHardBillsFan replied to jpizzy01's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I'll be there with 3 other Bills fans from Orlando!!!

Just give Peters his money.DieHardBillsFan replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Can you say Aaron Schobel... (following Kelsay, sorry if this was mentioned) Don't think it wont happen either. It is fair to say that he should finish his year with incentives to renegotiate. He is an elite player at an important position so if others try to follow they wont have quite the leverage Peters has, but if the Bills give in and send him a bigger check this will happen every year a player has a good year.

Changing the Post a bit.. 5 Players that need to make the biggest impact I would say are 1. Edwards - Now he has 2 quality receivers and Reed in his proper spot in the slot. Let's see how he uses them. 2. Stroud - Practically a God sent. Blow up the middle. 3. POZ - May he stay health and become Defenive player of the year. 4. Evans - You have a 6ft 6in number two. Put up or earn the title of overrated. 5. Lynch - Beast Mode year 2. Go Bills
-
yeah I heard that Brian Moore guy is pretty nasty ...I stand corrected.
-
Jason Peters - Top 3 Marshawn Lynch - Top 5 Aaron Schobel - Top 10 Lee Evans - Top 15 Brian Moorman - Top 3 POZ by the end of the year I see being 3rd on this list. People want to undercut him because he only played 3 games, but he was being blocked by 2 blockers and still making most of the tackles in those games. I could tell teams were game planning him. I love what I have seen from the guy. Can't wait for a HUGE year. GO BILLS!!! POZ

From what I've seen he has been consistantly leading his team above .500 and making the playoffs most years. Doesn't take much to be better then JP, watching the statue for too long, Losman. He needs to learn to get rid of the ball. He goes through his leads like he has an eternity to find a WR. I don't think the line is that bad. I think our QBs have made them look that way, and unless the Bills are looking for a QB in the draft they should be looking at Jacksonville or KC. PS. I've always like A-train and he did a nice job but thank god its just a broken rib.
-
What have they done. They have only beaten the 2 worst teams in football Lions, Packers, (who cares by how much or in what way if they are the worst) and thanks to a late forth quarter fumble walked away from a close win against the same team the Bills soundly beat, Vikings, then wiped the floor with a MVPless Seahawks. Sorry not impressed. The only thing the Bills have been showing consistantly is that they are improving and still have much more to show being a Spikesless team with Losman on the rise. Not to mention the top running game in football. Speaking of which, the bears haven't even played a team with a good running back. I think this is close and if anything its time for the Bills to shock the world.
-
I agree. Everyone loved him and talk so much about heart when he played the rest of the game with a frigg'n broke leg and ran for 130 or so yard for us. He did his best for us. I still like him. I think he did what any player would have done. They did slap him in the face in a sense . But it was still a good pick. Just move on people.
-
Of coarse. What are we all talking about. Nothing is more bitter then when the Titans had there Miracle on us during the playoffs. I HATE them too. Just as much as the Jags at least. We had that game against the Titans and they went to the SB and lost by a yard. That year the Bills were more then a yard better then the Titans. They stole the SB from us. Changed my mind. Still hate Titans more.
