  1. Umm no he is going to be a safety, and suddenly overrated because of one year? "I said Byrd would be in the discussion as best DB on team with McKelvin.... DB is not CB ... if you need more clarification please PM me" I Stand Corrected... I saw the McKelvin reverence and overlooked the initials. Hope that happens.
  2. I was actually agreeing and not being sacrastic. Hurry up tends to run on the QB more then the coach and I am all for that.
  3. Good point Go hurry up to bipass HC and GO BILLS!
  4. My biggest problem with this post is "Finding a diamond in the rough" as our early second round pick... That should be a statement for a 4th, 5th or later pick not early second. When Poz was picked close to that pick he was a bonified starter. I am not sure how high he is on other charts but seemed like a severe reach and we could have found a better talent. Even picked him in a later round.
  5. Exactly what I am thinking. Passing game with TO, cough, is going to improve though. Defenses are going to have to be honest both helping underneith passing and rushing. With the WR we had we could never use a quick slant because defenses would be all over it with 8 in the box. I cannot believe I am the one writing this but the fact is TO's possibilities for the Bills are HUGE for offense. Last year our defense was probably MUCH better then it look with an offense that doesn't ever score TDs. Makes opposing teams run more and take less chances because they are unneeded. Granted we STILL have a coaching staff that will do exactly that by rolling out JP with a lead and the game closing... Sorry I know some people felt some pain by bringing that up. Ok, there it is... Still a chance at the playoffs.
  6. Umm no he is going to be a safety, and suddenly overrated because of one year? Bills Picked a DE to start in the future. He is a high value pick so I am sure they believed he was going to put the weight on and play 3 downs. Brown or anyone else would have been concidered a Schobel replacement. He felll to the second round for a reason. If he was the It wouldn't have happened. Cannot believe you pointed out Nelson our biggest steel for a need in the draft. Criticism on Maybin is fine but really it's pointless at this now since he is our guy and I am growing to like him more and more. Arrington, Lewis, pretty sure there were others behind him but wow that is encouraging. Arrington even came to Buffalo with him. So step behind him He is a Bill now! GO BILLS!!!
  7. What I want to see from TE is a strong second half of the season. As soon as some cold creeps up on him he seems to fall apart. His QB rating was close to 100 and granted the quality of defenses Buffalo played in the first half of the year was poorest in the NFL. But the same happened his rookie season. I need a strong second half before TE is the real future for Buffalo IMO. Along with that a serious increase in TDs. But I try not to ask too much of anyone
  8. I originally posted what will the pick be but "who" is really what I was going for.
  9. Who do you think our next pick is going to be. I like what I saw from Alex Boone OT purely from combine. 6'7" 328, bench 33 times and still clocked in the top 10 for 40 yard dash. If you want a guy to build up as a starter for a late round pick, I like this one. "By no means is Boone perfect -- see game tape against speedy Florida and LSU past BCS games, or his arrest for driving under the influence in April 2006 -- but NFL teams will take into account his steady play, durability and willingness to work. He's a four-year starter who was named All-Big Ten the past two seasons. Boone may lack the athleticism to handle left tackle in the NFL, but he could enjoy a lengthy career on the right side. Had an arm span of 34 3/8 inches and a hand span of 9 7/8 inches at the combine." Just found this little bit of info, but if we think we can straighten him out, looks like that may be the reason he fell.
  10. Now I can sleep well tonight OLine!!! Still a miss with another DB...
  11. Duke who??? He probably has no clue who that is.
  12. You look like a pretty smart person... Why are you a Bills fan???
  13. Had 2 beautiful screens... but one was a drop by Jackson for the second game in a row... He needs to stop worrying on those screens. CATCH THEN GO!
  14. Maybe but 7 of those points were off the TD int return... Without that Bills win! Besides the fact they were in FG range. Notice all the TO's keep happening in FG range. Why are they trying to force so much... =/ And I'm sorry there was another TO no stat will track and that is a 4-1 short... Should count as a TO
  15. OK, trip back did not give me enough time to watch all the interviews after the game. Sorry to post incorrectly and guess I over analyzed him acting like his leg was bothering him for 2 plays in a row. Then suddenly he was off the field. Guess I missed him getting hit in the head too. Either way he was under utilized in the game. I saw a stat that showed Edwards quarter by quarter break down and in the 3rd Edwards only threw 3 times and the Bills started off with an openning drive TD. In the 4th Edwards threw on the majority of the plays even though there was some production in the run game and Miami was only rushing 3. Basically the Bills have played smarter in the past.
  16. Fixed it. I didn't record the game, I was watching from the stands. I just started noticing he wasn't there for our goalline 3 and out.
  17. I was at the game 5 rows back. Lynch had a noticeable problem with his ankle or knee. He wasnt on the field to start the game and had very few carries. The Bills could have used him on the two 3-1 misques we had. Jackson short up the middle for a touchdown. Result questionable field goal. Edwards diving stretch for extra yards. Result fumble and turn over. Because Jackson didnt move the chains the few times called on in 3rd and short situations the team had to rely to much on Edwards. This is normally fine but the Defense knew it and showed by running only 3 at the line. Better Marshawn is a better Bills team overall
  18. I was at the game and Lynch had ankle or a knee problem he was dealing with. He was not 100%. Jackson is not good enough to be the key RB or even 50/50 or on 3-1 we would have had a TD. Also on 3-1 Edwards would not have been called on twice to get a yard, once causing a fumble.
  19. Chalk this up to 2 players playing less then 100%. McGee and Lynch being the biggest examples of that. Jackson endzone run on 3-1 unsuccessful Edwards diving on 3-1 turn over Ginn getting biggest day of his career They get credit because to win the game the Bills had to play well... You can even change that to "OK" judging by the 16-7 lead when the Bills had only played poor to so so. It was a bad day. Not typical Bills playing. I'm over it.
  20. I was 5 rows back in the endzone and I could see daylight the whole way to me on that screen play. At the half I couldn't billieve that that Bills still had the lead after such a poor half. I thought for sure if anything is a sign of a win that would be. Touchdown at the beginning of the half... Just alot of dumb mistakes that made the Bills look unorganized. Beast Mode should have ran that 3rd and 1 for a TD not Jackson. If anyone is wondering who our #1 RB should be, wonder no more. Jackson is put into special situations to succeed. Lynch grinds the rest of the time. Lynch's bad ankle made the Bills one dimensional and forced Edwards to pass almost every down on a pass protection ready Dolphins. Because they were only rushing 3, completions were few and tough. Major reasons 1. Lynch not 100% forced Edwards to play too much of a role. 2. Bad situation for Edwards caused Turn overs. 3. Turn overs and inability to finish caused poor field position the whole game. 4. Coaching was Sub-Par at best.
  21. I saw that while looking at replays after the post. That block has to be there with Evans and Mitchell for play of the game. What a block! Side note: On every play you see highlights of Trent Edwards you see Jason Peters Throwing his man down! He was fantastic!
  22. Yes I get it. You did read all of my post right. Also, the Bills have only played 6 games and have 10 left. More then half and all the other teams we have not handed losses too... Yet.
