  1. Like the opening scene from Die Hard 3, Bruce Willis in Harlem wearing a sign that says "I Hate !@#$s."
  2. If you were on the subway, and some kid dressed like hitler walked on, what would you think...bigot or sense of humor?
  3. I won't even touch it. Atl, SD and Chi are the tease for this week.
  4. And now, we are the first country in history to have fat POWs as the detainees have each gained about 20 lbs at Gitmo. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/10/3/220704.shtml
  5. Because he would have gotten his a$$ beat on the NYC subway if he got on dressed like Hitler. But I see your point.
  6. Suprisingly, I go out more during the week than I do on the weekends. I also drink more during the week.
  7. Give me Eric Steinbach to play LG next to Peters and solidfy the left side, draft a RG in the 2nd round who can be good. Possibly sign a RT if Pennington does not appear to be the answer (we'll have to see, he DOES have the size for the position). Sign a young FA DT. Then, if you used your 1st on Pozlusny, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
  8. I love Carl, he is a very good guy, who genuinely loves and cares about Buffalo.
  9. I saw 2 of those at the party I was at Sat nite and dozens more last nite. The hot costume of the year right there.
  10. Great points. Noone was impatient, it was more of a Bills suck vein. When they showed definaite signs of progress in 87, then everyone thought they may be good. The 88 team (12-4) was putrid offensively. The D was fantastic. The team was built on defense, special teams and the running game. Kelly was more of a "manager" than the throw it around Kelly of the SB years. Only at the end of 89, after a very rough year (Bickering Bills) did we begin to open up the offense.
  11. I could see that if we addressed the lines through free agency & in the later rounds. I don't think I'd be too upset about it if we did that.
  12. Friggin idiot!! http://www.nypost.com/seven/11012006/news/...ck_gallahue.htm
  13. IMHO, its NYC's best event of the year. That includes 4th of July & New Year's Eve.
  14. Nahh, I'm far more cynical and jaded than I was back then. Impossible to fall into any type of trap.
  15. Absolutely!!!! Greenwich Village on Halloween nite, temperature about 65 degrees, oodles of hot chicks wearing outfits that can't possibly be any skimpier? Damn right I'm going out!!! I think I got home at 4am, tho I'm not sure. Egg Mcmuffins this morning helped absorb the booze. I think my fav holiday has become either Halloween or St. Pats, just b/c there's no bullschitt associated with it. Just go out and have fun!
  16. Def G-string...less is definately more!!
  17. Great friggin article. We'll keep this one around for a few more days.
  18. Time to rethink the suicide pool picks this week.
  19. He does a straight 6 on two teamers, although I rarely bet them. The xtra 4 points are too valuable.
  20. Happy Birthday mead.
  21. My guy allows a straight 10 on the 3 gamer. You get the 1/2. I've lost 1 3 gamer and bet the 3 game every week of the season. I've been doing it for xtra cash since college. Basically, I look for good home teams with big point spreads, tease them down as close as I can to pick em. If I have to take a roadie I will, but I prefer home teams. I stay away from "Game of the Week" hype and always go for any game that I perceive could be a blowout. I also try and avoid division games if possible, too much familiarity there. I tend to stay away from teasing the O/U, but will on occasion if I can't find a 3rd game I like and there is a great defensive matchup. In that case I'll usually tease the O/U down and take the O.
  22. Still alive in 2 of them!! SD this week!!
  23. Of course. I use the Pats almost every week in my teasers. I believe in betting QBs like starting pitchers in baseball, and no one is better than Brady. Last week, Chicago, NE and GB was the tease. Not sure yet about this week but I'm leaning toward the Bears, Chargers and either Atlanta or NY Giants. We'll see. Chargers definately for the two suicide pools I'm in.
  24. And the Baseball Tonight crew, they are generally pretty informative. Although w/o Harold Reynolds, they may offer less analysis and sink down to the rest. We'll have to see.
