  1. Upon consideration, I am concerned about how many posters won't take the few moments it takes to edit a thread title.
  2. Yep. They have to keep him on the roster - BUF is in the same boat there with many a club through the seasons. If they eventually pick up a street LB, I wonder who on the current roster gets axed...Offensive player, defensive player, ST player? They already have a decision facing them when Lynch returns.
  3. Small world - I never realized you had a familiarity about my town and county officials.
  4. Hmm...your previous rant post got closed. Like a bug that didn't gain education from the first squash, here you are again. Seems that Johnny doesn't have the concept of fair play quite...nailed...down. Da*n - I thought this thread showed promise...
  5. Have you considered seeking employment with the White House press staff?
  6. To set the record straight...Just Jack's not a gal.
  7. That NFL TV Distribution site shows TB-BUF on in SW Ohio. http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/ Very surprising - the Fox affiliate owners here most always go for games by teams that they think generates the most national ad profit for them. My guess is that since one of their favorites - GB - is on the CBS channel with CIN on the road, and their other usual darling - DAL, is a Sunday night game, they settled on this. I wait warily, though...if they think they can turn 5 cents more profit with another contest, they will dump the TB-BUF game in the blink of an eye. They have a history of switching.
  8. Pull into Hammer's Lot. 8 AM. http://members.cox.net/billswatch/Hammer/index.html
  9. All can think of, is that the guy's contract has some favorable payout provision for him if he gets fired...
  10. They wouldn't be the first club to draft a spiffy offensive collegian to pump up the gate for the coming season.
  11. R.I.P.
  12. Hunt down a copy of Money Creators, by Mary Coogan, first published in 1935. Then find a copy of The Worldy Philosophers (ISBN-13: 9780684862149) by the recently late Robert Heilbroner. Be sure to check out Marx and Engels' Communist Manifesto along the way. When you're done reading those, buy the Barns&Noble reprint of FM-21-76 - US Army Survival Manual ( 1992, ISBN 1-5561--9022-3). A handy resource for the future.
  13. I noticed on something I haven't seen for years - here in OH - on uploaded meeting photos a while back. A pat of butter (the pat sandwiched between waxed cardboard and a translucent square of waxed paper). All that is offered here is the ubiquitous "Shedd's Spread" or some such...
  14. Thank you. I thought you meant interest.
  15. I'm not clear what you mean by "rent" on a mortgage.
  16. Yeah, the check is presented after the gala party at the Ritz-Carleton in NYC after deductions for expenses...
  17. I wonder where this fine money ends up. Slush fund for NFL administration staff posh soirees?
  18. R.I.P.
  19. Weet weet! Watch out for yer ankles, mates! http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Weet-weet
  20. Welcome to the forum! I'll have to go back and review the game... If so...nice look!
  21. Nobody beat up Leypoldt. See above. Honest mistake on your part...past thing are sometimes a bit misty, I know.
  22. It was Booth Lustig. John Leypoldt played '71 - '78 and died at age 40 in 1987. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Leypoldt
  23. I remember a "Molto Mario" show, when he said that a whitish dust here and there was a sign of a good curing - the dust was the dead bodies of fungus and bacteria that ran for the surface then croaked. He said to take a wet paper towel and just wipe it off.
  24. A story by one of his surrogate organizations - NPR. They will be dealt with for this sin, and told to get in line or else. The MA mandatory coverage plan - that's the one that extracts cash from you if you don't play along. See todays' news about Sen. Baucus and up to a $3,800 fine if you don't play along. I read somewhere a while ago, that the Feds expect to pocket several tens of billion from fining citizens who don't dance to Washington's tune. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.p...toryId=97620520 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090908/ap_on_...are_baucus_plan And never assume that guaranteed insurance guarantees good medical care.... It's inexorable...
