I think that it is certainly doable for the Bills. You can sell 2, max 3 games, and pay for your season. It’s the Sabres people selling 25 games that they have an issue with. Also, in hockey/basketball/baseball the demand is opponent based. With the Bills the interest and pricing is more Bills based. Yes, KC brings more money than Denver but Denver still has massive demand. Every game before Thanksgiving has big demand. When you sell a Leafs ticket it’s WAY more likely to end up in the hands of a Leafs fan than a Broncos ticket is to end up in the hands of a Broncos fan.

    Not to mention December games

The point being, that the Bills partners have already paid that fee. A brokerage like Ace (for example) owns hundreds of season tickets throughout the state of NY. These are professional organizations with full time staffs.

The Sabres had/have some real broker partners like that. They also have a bunch of people that buy season tickets knowing that they can sell a bunch to cover their cost. They sell the Leafs, Habs and 15-20 more games to cover the entire cost. That’s what they’re trying to stop. It’s the amateurs trying to make a business out of it.

The regular Joes who "cracked the code" on how to afford season tickets without dropping thousands they don't have every year. Not to make a profit but to get back enough for next year's tickets. We can't have that, can we.

Keep in mind for most of it's existence 67-75% of teams made the NHL playoffs. At one time 16 of 21 teams got in (76%.) With 32 teams, only 50% of teams get in. That's the lowest percentage in league history.

Current record is 37-37-5. Win/Lose Win/Lose Win/Lose..🤦‍♂️ What’s actually worse than no grit and no defending their goaltender when opponents run into him, is that they LOSE MORE GAMES AT HOME than win! Home! Buffalo, NY! The most rabid, dedicated adoring Fanbase in the America’s!

    Disgusting..🤬

    THEY SUCK!!

I was worried when the Bills ended their 17 year playoff drought, people would have nothing to get upset over.

bills will be cracking down on ticket brokers/ frequent nfl ticket exchange listers....just like they recently did with sabres STH

anyone who thinks they will buy tix in the new stadium only to resell most of them are in for rude awakening

buy a NY State Brokers License or not be able to buy tickets....which may lead to losing your PSL

Sports teams need brokers and resellers to insulate franchises from large swings in ticket sales during down years.

i can't get confirmation on if all 63k seats will be STH ?.....it's on my list of questions when i go thru the "experience"...i'll get back to you late next year..lol

I thought seating was closer to just 60K.

for 2023 there were just under 64,000 season tickets. the capacity is just over 70,000. they deliberately hold back some for individual sale.

i dont think the new stadium will be 100% season ticket (i could be wrong)

    https://www.buffalobills.com/news/updates-on-bills-2024-season-ticket-member-renewals-and-opening-of-bills-stadium-experience

My understanding is every seat will be a season ticket. But the new stadium will have expanded stranding room for individual sale.

kind of.....but if viewed from the position the texans only want a 1 yr rental. you're getting a highly motivated and happy  diggs playing for his next contract. (of course he could become unhappy not getting enough targets.....one can hope....lol)

the dumb part for me is that they gave up a very early 2nd round Minnesota  draft pick for that 1 yr rental..... that's steep

Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled the Texans did this for the Bills. But wow, did they bend over for their new prize WR. I hope he's worth it. One thing about divas, the more you give in to them, the more they will demand because they see you're afraid to say no.

    Is he though?

I bet Doug Whaley would have been better with Josh.

Whaley built the team that broke the drought. Without Josh.

    Polian at least made Superbowls.

He did what? McDermott did that. Whaley was kept around because he had all the scouting for the upcoming draft. You don't get rid of any GM before a draft.

Once you live outside of WNY you realize just how small the Buffalo area really is. Be glad you have two major sports franchises. Theres no way it could support a Major League Baseball team. No way.

Buffalo definitely punches above its weight with NFL and NHL teams, and even an NLL lacrosse team. For an official metro population of 1.2 million (1.7 mil maybe if you add the Canadian population near the border) it's unheard of. Then add in the lack of major corporations to buy suites.

    Von miller contract

    Dawson Knox contract

    Stephen diggs contract

Defense line draft picks that never pan out

Defense tackle signings that are not good enough

    No reliable pass rusher

    Wyatt Teller give away

    Edmunds

    Star contract

Just curious why he is so highly regarded when these issues have come to roost fully

He gets a "pass" because he's the best Bills GM since 90's Bill Polian.

I seem to remember this team not making the post season for SEVENTEEN seasons before Beane arrived.  Let's throw HIM under the bus.  Please.

The fact that he drafted several players that did not become all pros just ruins it for me.

  15. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/why-did-texans-reduce-stefon-diggss-contract-from-four-years-to-one

This has to be the dumbest reason, if true, for the Texans voiding Diggs final 3 contract years, saying...

"They want the best possible version of Diggs. They want none of the little things the Bills tolerated until it became one big thing."

So they are basically saying Diggs is a diva and they don't want to upset "his highness." Good luck.
