I don't understand why Atlanta keeps coming up. How many times to try and fail do they get? Understand money talks, but it just seems like a market that just doesn't care about hockey and history has shown that

First, Atlanta is a massive market. The NHL wants to be there. Second, lack of fan support wasn't the problem for the Thrashers, it was having to share the Omni with the Hawks. This time the team will play in the northern suburbs in their own building.

It is ridiculous that Houston does not have a team.  4th or 5th biggest city in the country, the old IHL team had some of the highest attendances in the league, theres a lot of canadian transplants here via the Calgary-Houston oil and gas exchange and a ton of Northeast transplants here, and you have the 3rd most Fortune 500 companies of any city in the country.  The demographics, the money, the population all make Houston an obvious choice.  The only thing stopping this plainly obvious move is red tape around the arena's lease and the I believe the NHL is leery about sharing time and profit with the Rockets.

I'll bet the next expansion round is Houston and Atlanta. Houston can use the Toyota Center for now but will have to build something new. Atlanta group has a plan for an arena north of Atlanta, in Forsyth County.

Now I know you’re confusing me with someone else. I am not, and have never been, a domer (someone who cares deeply about wanting a dome). If it was my choice, I probably would have chosen a dome - but as my post history shows, I have always said I am fine with open air too.

In fact, the last time I mentioned the word “dome” in a post was 7 MONTHS ago when I said I’m surprised they didn’t build a dome just because of the liability of slick steps. And before that? It was a 16 MONTHS ago that I last mentioned anything about a dome - that time it was to joke around with the domers.

So… 1 post in 7 MONTHS is “at least twice a month” to you? Or maybe it was 2 posts in 16 MONTHS that put it over the top for you?

And before all that, you hit me with the accusation that I was “crusading” in this thread—only for it to come out that I account for just 14 of the last 500 posts, and that you account for more. Then, suddenly, you changed your tune and the issue wasn’t how often I post, but that you just don’t like my opinions. Well, sorry, but not liking my opinions is not crusading; that’s just disagreement.

Question for you: What are you going to completely fabricate and lie about next!?

Uh, that's me. Dome, dome, dome, dome....

14 Ohio State players were chosen in the 2025 draft alone, and that doesn’t include underclassmen on the 2024 roster who will declare in future years.

    Just for comparison:

In the 2024 UFL season, over 77 UFL players signed with NFL teams, representing more than 19% of the players who participated in the UFL season. The UFL had 400 players in the 2024 season. Additionally, the UFL announced that 21 UFL players are currently on NFL rosters.

How bad can UFL players be if almost 20% get NFL camp invites?

That’s where I’m at. I never thought about the ROI on it. I thought, “what is a better use of money while living in Buffalo?” The Bills are something that I spend my money on, and never regret it. My brother and I each have 2. I have a little boy on the way just after Thanksgiving and he had one born 4 weeks ago. We will be able to bring these little boys up like we were.

I expected PSLs for at least 10 years and saved up for them. So it was money already earmarked.

They did all the heavy lifting already (Clubs and Sideline Seats).  Now it's the upper levels, with PSLs about 1k-1.5k.  They will sell them all.  Think of it, you get them, and then sell 2-3 games and you've basically made your PSLs back.  The draw next year for those seats will be big - only 8 home games with KC, DET, CHI, and probably BALT (AFC north team) AND the draw of a brand new stadium.  People want to see this fail, but they will sell them all and people who get the uppers at a reasonable PSL price will be laughing.

That's when we will hear the sob stories about someone's kid crying they can't see their hero Josh Allen in person and can someone sell them tickets for $20.
