  1. The actual play that marked the downfall of the current Bledsoe-led Bills is 2002 vs. Kansas City. We were running the ball well, had a lead late in the game, and we were about to stick a dagger in the Chiefs with field goal. That's when Kevin Gilbride called for a long pass to Peerless Price that was intercepted. Chiefs drive and win the game 17-16. That play started the long decent into oblivion for Drew Bledsoe. That was the line of demarcation between the high-flying Bills offense of 2002, and the pathetic clown show we have now.

  2. The Bills will finish 7-9, or 6-10, hand Dallas a high 1st round pick, and the Bills team will continue to believe that Drew gives us the best chance to win in 2005. Sleep well.

6 or 7 wins? Are there 6 or 7 teams we can beat? I see two maybe: Miami and Arizona, but I also see 0-16 a distinct possibilty as well. This team is circling the drain, people.

  3. QUIT BUYING THOSE FRIGGIN TICKETS TO WATCH THIS ****!

No a sole in that statium will do wonders......

The more we lose, the more we sell out that place.  Why?

HERE, GIVE ME YOUR 38 BUCKS OR WHATEVER FOR YOU TICKET AND ILL TAKE YOU OUTBACK, KICK YOU IN THE NUTS AND CALL IT A DAY.  SAVE THE 3 HOURS OF PAIN FOR 20 MINUTES

Yes...that will solve everything. Maybe we Stadium Wall people can volunteer to help the team pack up and move to Los Angeles too.

We buy tickets to keep the team in Buffalo, Navy. Stop buying tickets, and you won't have to root for them 'cause they will be gone FOREVER. The NFL would never replace the Bills.

  4. For all you folks who never get to see the Patriots, all the people who held out hope that the Bills would beat them, I hope can see what I was talking about. The Patriots are team that find the way to win. They are like what the 90-94 Bills were. The Bills are team that finds ways to lose. They are so bad that they don't even need you to beat them..they will beat themselves.

Bill Belichick doesn't need a game plan to beat the Bills. No team does. All you have to do is line up against them and they will do a Three Stooges impersonation for 60 minutes.

    0-16 looks very real.

  5. Ricky Santos of University of New Hampshire. He is a freshman who came in when the starter was injured, and he's on fire. UNH is nationally-ranked (in Div 1-AA) for the first time in forever. Watching him, you get the feeling this guy will be in the NFL when he leaves college.

  6. posted on consumer board, but that doesn't look like its used much, so here it goes:

I think my computer is toast, its 4 years old, pentium 550, all i want is a decent computer, no monitor, nothing, just the tower. All i need it for is surfing the net and what not, no gaming, nothing crazy. any suggestions on where to get it? I was thinking ebay, but i'm not sure what i'm getting. I'd like to spend $400 tops. Is this doable?

    51505[/snapback]

$400 is a tight budget. But if you wait, Dell will have a $399 special come up. It would be a Pentium 4 Celeron 2.7Gig 256MB RAM system with a 40GB hard drive. Probably with free shipping, but no monitor. But you can find used monitors for $25. It's not state-of-the-art but it's still a solid system, with decent support.

One suggestion: pay for it with a credit card...don't use Dell Credit. They will keeping telling you you owe 'em a buck or two every month when you think you paid them off 100%.

  7. My thoughts exactly...How about we throw the Kid in vs. Arizona (who is giving up 370 yds. per game) at Home where he's got a better than average chance to get some early success?

First start at NE could have MAJOR negative ramifications for a Rookie QB. Belichick would just mess with JP's mind...Leave that for next Season when JP at least has some hands on experience. B)

I do agree that making your first start against the Pats in Foxboro would be brutal. But your're assuming Losman wouldn't rise to the challenge. The guy might be young and crazy enough to pull it off. But if you play Bledsoe you might as well mark that game an "L" That would be a sad, sad way for Bledsoe's career to end, and I'm certain it would be the end.

By then you are 2-and-whatever and the season is lost. I guess you can wait until the following week to start Losman.

  8. Tuned in the middle of this conversation:

    1) TD not under pressure yet...but will be if this keeps up.

    2) Blame TD for trading for Bledsoe when he didn't have the O-line to block for him.

    3) Bills blew it not checking the charecter of Mike Williams before drafting him. King was trying not to say it outright, but he was insinuating that Mike Williams is a tortured individual who hates playing football, and only shows up for the paycheck. Refered to Mike "...having 900 guys hanging off him." Not defenders, but people mooching off him. Also said Mike shows up to work "...asking if his check was deposited yet?' He wasn't clear if that was an actual quote.

He did say unequivicaly that Williams is killing Bledsoe and the Bills. So why is he playing? Becuase he's a #4 overall pick! If he were some FA walk-on, he'd be long gone.

  9. In Bill Belichick's new book, there is discussion about Drew Bledsoe. Contrary to his public "team guy" persona, Drew was doing a lot of bitching about losing his starting job. He felt that Belichick and OC Charlie Weis lied to him. Apparently Drew had issues with Weis before that.

Fast forward to the Bills head coach search. Do you think that Bledsoe may have nixed Weis, and maybe even Romeo Cronell, as a Bills coach?

  10. Promo The Oracle sees all...knows all!

J.P. Losman will return to practice Nov. 1. The Bills will be 2-5 by then, but the Bills win 2 of their last 3 games against Miami and Arizona, causing Bledsoe fans to point that their guy is starting to turn the corner.

Losman will need at least two weeks to prepare, so Bledsoe will start against the New York Jets at home, and lose another one.

Losman will make his debut against New England in Foxboro, sparing Drew the indignity. The Bills lose that game too, but put up a good fight. Bledsoe fans claim that proves it's not Drew's fault.

Losman continues to start, and wins his RWS debut against the Rams. Bills are now 3-7. Bledsoe fans argue Rams played mostly second-stringers on defense.

After losing in Seattle, the Bills led by J.P. Losman, go on a tear and win the last 5 games against Miami, Cleveland, Cincinnati, San Francisco, and Pittsburgh. The Bills finish with a record of 8-8. By now, Bledsoe fans have given up defending Drew.

J.P Losman finishes the year as the undisputed starter. Drew Bledsoe announces his retirement. Travis Brown is resigned once again by the Bills. The O-Line actually does start to play better, or at least looks that way with Losman starting. Mullarkey begins to hit his stride as a head coach. Tom Donahoe saves his job.

    Promo has spoken.

  11. I live in New England so I see the Patsies play every week. There is a great deal of denial, either from unfamiliarity, or just wishful thinking, about how good they really are. The fact is New England is the best-coached team in the league, with a QB who sees all of the field and rarely makes mistakes bad enough to lose a game. Their defense may give up yards in the midfield, but are very stout in the red zone, with a fantastic turnover ratio.

And you have the Bills who have a pretty good defense, yet still give up the big play. And an offense that...well, let's just say we have an offense. The only way the Bills win, with Bledsoe playing the game, is if the Pats bus gets lost on the way to the stadium.

  12. This is a loaded question. It's meant to suggest anyone who believes in a constitutional separation of church and state, where all religions are treated equally, is some kind of god-hating devil worshipper. The question should be: "Do you feel government should or should not sanction official religious activity?" because that what prayer in school is.
