I have just one question, Tom. Did you actually try to assemble a good football team and totally screwed it up? Or are you deliberately wrecking our beloved franchise so you can move it to L.A.?
I am asking because you were supposed to be some kind of football genius. At least that's what your homeys at ESPN kept saying. I mean any doofus on this message board could have put together a 0-16 NFL team. And we would have done it for a lot less than the $1mil you make a year.
Maybe you are a lot smarter than we think.
Maybe you collect your mil from a barely lucid Ralph Wilson, while you strike a deal with an L.A. ownership group. You scuttle our franchise so we become the Motreal Expos of the NFL, then you get to be G.M. and president of the new L.A. whatevers.
I know this all sounds nuts, but I am just trying to make sense of the clusterf*** I see week after week.

No pin...but I did get a "Thank You" card from Tom Donahoe. With the Bills looking like that same piece-o-crap team from last year, the sales department is doing some serious sucking up the the season ticket buyers.

When Eric Moulds was a free agent, he chose to stick with the Bills because he thought the team was on it's way back to greatness. Three years later, and we are on the express elevator to the basement! I wonder what he must be thinking now.

There is being optimistic...and there is being in your own little happy world.
There isn't one part of the Bills team you can be optimisitic about. Okay, the PUNTING is excellent, but beyond that I don't see where there is much hope for anything beyond a 2-14 year.

Do keep in mind that the Pats did NOT blitz at all in the first half. Once they started at the end of the game, things fell apart.

It should have been a red flag that the Pats would trade Drew to a division opponent. They had zero respect for his skills, and you can see exactly why now. Tom Donahoe must own a lot of time shares, swamp land, and 10% of the Brooklyn Bridge by now.

Keep blaming the O-line all you want...it doesn't change the fact that Drew Bledsoe is useless, except maybe as a doorstop. I was at the game. For the first 57 minutes, Drew was only sacked once. He had plenty of time to throw, and he still couldn't get it done.
When are you people going to wake up and see that Drew Bledsoe no longer possesses any NFL skills? We are so busy making excuses for his poor play, we celebrate when he goes 3-and-out because he didn't fumble or throw an interception. This is how far we have fallen as fans.

The actual play that marked the downfall of the current Bledsoe-led Bills is 2002 vs. Kansas City. We were running the ball well, had a lead late in the game, and we were about to stick a dagger in the Chiefs with field goal. That's when Kevin Gilbride called for a long pass to Peerless Price that was intercepted. Chiefs drive and win the game 17-16. That play started the long decent into oblivion for Drew Bledsoe. That was the line of demarcation between the high-flying Bills offense of 2002, and the pathetic clown show we have now.

6 or 7 wins? Are there 6 or 7 teams we can beat? I see two maybe: Miami and Arizona, but I also see 0-16 a distinct possibilty as well. This team is circling the drain, people.

We buy tickets to keep the team in Buffalo, Navy. Stop buying tickets, and you won't have to root for them 'cause they will be gone FOREVER. The NFL would never replace the Bills.

For all you folks who never get to see the Patriots, all the people who held out hope that the Bills would beat them, I hope can see what I was talking about. The Patriots are team that find the way to win. They are like what the 90-94 Bills were. The Bills are team that finds ways to lose. They are so bad that they don't even need you to beat them..they will beat themselves.
Bill Belichick doesn't need a game plan to beat the Bills. No team does. All you have to do is line up against them and they will do a Three Stooges impersonation for 60 minutes.
0-16 looks very real.

Ricky Santos of University of New Hampshire. He is a freshman who came in when the starter was injured, and he's on fire. UNH is nationally-ranked (in Div 1-AA) for the first time in forever. Watching him, you get the feeling this guy will be in the NFL when he leaves college.

Sorry...you asked...I'm telling...I have no reason to think Drew Bledsoe will play any differently this game than he did in the last 22 games. I say if he sucks, pull him and play Shane Matthews just to see if that changes thiings. If he sucks then you stick with Bledsoe, if he wins, you keep playing him.

I think my computer is toast, its 4 years old, pentium 550, all i want is a decent computer, no monitor, nothing, just the tower. All i need it for is surfing the net and what not, no gaming, nothing crazy. any suggestions on where to get it? I was thinking ebay, but i'm not sure what i'm getting. I'd like to spend $400 tops. Is this doable?
$400 is a tight budget. But if you wait, Dell will have a $399 special come up. It would be a Pentium 4 Celeron 2.7Gig 256MB RAM system with a 40GB hard drive. Probably with free shipping, but no monitor. But you can find used monitors for $25. It's not state-of-the-art but it's still a solid system, with decent support.
One suggestion: pay for it with a credit card...don't use Dell Credit. They will keeping telling you you owe 'em a buck or two every month when you think you paid them off 100%.

My thoughts exactly...How about we throw the Kid in vs. Arizona (who is giving up 370 yds. per game) at Home where he's got a better than average chance to get some early success?
First start at NE could have MAJOR negative ramifications for a Rookie QB. Belichick would just mess with JP's mind...Leave that for next Season when JP at least has some hands on experience. B)
I do agree that making your first start against the Pats in Foxboro would be brutal. But your're assuming Losman wouldn't rise to the challenge. The guy might be young and crazy enough to pull it off. But if you play Bledsoe you might as well mark that game an "L" That would be a sad, sad way for Bledsoe's career to end, and I'm certain it would be the end.
By then you are 2-and-whatever and the season is lost. I guess you can wait until the following week to start Losman.

I'm a lifelong Bills fan...and I think you're nuts! If the Bills win at all it will be by 1 point and from a New England blunder, which almost never happens. There are few outright mismatches in the NFL, but I'm afraid this is one.
