Marv Levy dropping hints that Bills are talking to him about coaching, but Felser points out Levy has GM experience in the CFL (Montreal) and he thinks that Levt as GM is a more likely scenario.

Ask yourself this: How hard will someone work to fix your car if they a)already have your money, and b) they know they can't make any more money off you?
Service contracts and extended warrenties are mostly ripoffs.

UB Got 4 votes in the AP poll this week. Okay, they have a way to go, like another 126 votes, just to be ranked #25. But hey, it's a start, and the team is climbing new heights every game.
They are off for exams until Dec.21 when the host Elon. Not exactly a power team that will catapult them into the polls. In fact, UB may never reach the polls, even if they win 25-26 games. That's because there are no other "power" teams on their schedule, and I don't think MAC teams are treated with any respect anyway.
That's just fine with me. I would love to see UB in the NCAA's ambush some at-large team that got in because they play in a power conference. It's way too early to fantasize like that, but it's fun right now.

Can we please discuss legitimate coaching candidates and not pie-in-the-sky fantasy coaches? Stop and think how many great players, in any sport, ever become great coaches? I can't think of too many. You would think anyone who did it could teach it, but things are never that simple.

Lindy Ruff!
Lindy Ruff was not an NHL superstar. Of course there are many players who become coaches. I was talking about Hall-of-fame, superstars. Wayne Gretzky is coaching the Phoenix Coyotes, but beyond that, I can't think of any HOF type who even became a coach, much less a good one.
I'm just responding to the "Hire Jim Kelly" posters who equate playing ability with coaching ability.

Not surprising. I had the feeling Willis was going to get out of Buffalo as soon as his knee healed.

Whoever we hire better have some serious coaching chops if they expect fans to come back.

I give Roscoe the benefit of the doubt until next year. You can't judge a rookie coming off IR. I won't call him a bust just yet.

There is no reasoning with anything that went on at One Bills Drive this year. I just hope JP makes it to the end of the season without leaving on a stretcher.

The 3 year rule applies to coaches who at least show some progress each year. Mike Mullarkey set off a 50 megaton clusterf**k this season! I can't see how he can recover from this mess. He has to go.

As bad as other Bills teams were, I don't remember seeing one quit like this one. That's why I voted that way.

Taking management, players, and coaches into account, I think this is the worst Bills team in history.

...everyone was worried for the Sabres? At this point I'd worry if anyone will bother showing for the Bills game!

Count on Jerry Sullivan to tell you which way the wind is blowing...and doing it with firm conviction!

Ralph Wilson probably did ask Jimmy Johnson to coach the Bills. He only stopped laughing when he had to go on the air on Fox pre-game.

I am sitting in a room at the Best Western in Amsterdam NY watching MSG post-game, happy that they actually show the Sabres out here. Going back to NH from that abortion at RWS. Happy to have the Sabres to take some of the edge off the Bills fiasco.
By the way, UB won again saturday, beating Rutgers. They are now 8-1 and are developing into another exciting story.

Bob Matthews, on his WHAM talk show, went on about how messed up the Bills are at many levels...from relations with veteran players, to the working atmosphere at One Bills Drive under TD. He really got me thinking that Tom Donahoe is a "Captain Queeg" type of leader, more worried about who took his strawberries that building a winner. It will be nearly impossible to rebuild this team with the cloud over it that Donahoe generates. If he had any honor, he would admit his mistakes and resign, but how likely is that to happen?

You have the right to say what you want. But in a civil society, rules of politeness and manners ought to apply. That doesn't mean you have to kiss TD's rear. You can criticze his job performance, but you don't have the right to insult the man personally.
But do we still live in a civil society?

UB wins! 66-53 over Liberty! Bulls now 7-1. If you are in Buffalo saturday night. Catch UB vs. Rutgers at Alumni Arena.

Why can't we get players like that?

Add this move to the Donahoe **** pile. Are you telling me Ross Tucker would have been worse than the orange traffic cones we have on the O-line? (Sorry...I didn't mean to insult orange traffic cones.) Apparently Bill Belichick thnks Ross can still play.
