  1. A favorite of mine an old friend used to say to describe indecision: "He didn't know whether to s##t or go bowling."
  2. https://www.fybush.com/nerw-20230227/ Do you listen to, or are even aware of, the HD Radio function in your car, or some home radios? It allows local stations to have multiple digital subchannels. So one radio station becomes two, three or even four. Audacy, the massive media company that owns WGR, happens to be on the verge of bankruptcy. So in a cost-cutting move, they have eliminated all HD digital channels that play music. Why? Because it costs money to pay for music rights on those subchannels. Scott Fybush publishes the weekly Northeast Radio Watch. While it's a subscription service the first story of the week is free, and this week it fits into details of which HD music channels went away, including several in Buffalo and Rochester.

  4. US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is the perfect stadium IMO. Glass roof lets light in, massive walls open to allow the breeze in. And it cost $1.2B even though it was built in downtown Minneapolis! There are no land acquisition costs with our stadium but it's going to cost $1.4B??? For open air???
  5. You have it completely backwards. It's the over 40 crowd that can't deal with freezing at games, or want to spend Sunday mornings drinking themselves into a stupor. I don't think that's the plan at all. Look at the pictures. The red glow of the "fry lamps" are only in the club seats Exactly. Where can you install radiant heat if there is nothing above you?

  7. Former Bill sightings.
  8. I agree 100% on that.
  9. Wind confusion. It's going to collapse in a few years.
  10. How will those overhangs deal with it?
  11. Which is not a good thing.
  12. Nothing is better than playoff hockey.
  13. The Rochester D&C is printed somewhere downstate. Both make it harder for papers to have timely news as deadlines get moved up even more.
  14. It's because shootouts were added in 2005. Before that games ended tied and each team got one point. Teams still wanted the 1 point for a tie after regulation.
  15. The LVP frontrunner after week 1
  16. Can you do that from the CFL?
  17. So he signed with the Argos of the CFL.
  18. The NFL is already doing a version of this called "sky judge." They just don't put them on camera. How many times has a call been reversed without a challenge flag? That's sky judge doing a quick review and buzzing the refs on the field. For something obvious it takes a few seconds.
  19. Who doesn't want another $45-50MM? Not to mention it keeps him relevant while he figures out what his next gig is. Does he get those State Farm ads if he's retired?
  20. Because they don't want the additional liability for CTE for a bunch of minor leaguers on top their own players. The NFL is completely fine with separate spring leagues. That dude is Dean Blandino.
  21. Quite the opposite. The NFL has development deals for officials with the both the XFL and USFL. They are watching to see how these rule tweaks work out.
  22. Naw, that was the correct call. No clear evidence to overturn. I was watching that game and I couldn't tell who had possession.
  23. I don't think Rodgers' heart is into it anymore. He's playing for the paycheck. Guys like him don't improve a team.
