Maybe you can get 12 pack for your tickets in the stadium parking lot...LOL -

I was thinking the same thing about the Broncos. I think everyone dressed in black from head to foot would be more appropriate. -

If this is true OBD is going out of there way to assure the misery on the field is equaled to the misery in the stands. No doubt a ploy by Donohoe to put the squeeze to the "jerks" who want him run out of town. On a side note, at last weeks game I saw a few people who might benefit from the lack of alcohol sales. They may have been able to hold their heads up to actually watch the game. -
Obviously Ralph has stripped him of all duties so he can only resort to bullying "jerks" in the stadium. I have had to stomach some god awful crow as a result of my early and somewhat recent support for this fascist GM wanna be.

What's so big about Tom Modrak?
sfladave replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Therein lies the conundrum. -
We have much bigger needs than drafting a CB, especially when you consider that tagging NC will only cost us 5.7M. Use the 1st round for a DT or an OL.

With the #4 pick in the 2006 draft

If the Texans hire TD be their new GM that might be possible, otherwise PIPE DREAM! Edit: Pass the pipe my way. -

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. errr BiB a dull boy -
Quick question, if we get a 1st for Nate, how do we replace him? Granted he has not been stellar this year, but he is still a top 10 CB. They do not grow on trees. If he only costs 5.7 to tag and he's not willing to sign a realistic long term deal, tag him for the next few years until we can find a substitute. Think this through people!

I will be shocked and be ready to go on a murderous rampage at OBD if we were to select a QB, RB or LB in the 1st 3 rounds much less the 4th pick. OL, DL, OL, DL, OL, DL, then maybe a S. The exception would be if we were somehow able to get Bush, but that is a nearly impossible scenario that is not worth worrying about. -
If I remember correctly the Cowpokes were close to 1-15 either the year JJ started or the year before he took over. Not exactly what I call full of talent.
-
How many times did Willis run to the outside this week? A big difference from last year to this year is where we have been running. I remember a lot of effective runs going outside the tackle last year, along with some stiff arms. This year it seems as though we are hell bent on running only up the middle. Is this selective remembering by me or am I right?

I read something like this in about 12 topics today. Don't we still combine threads?

Maybe he has been the one screaming for us to upgrade the OL and keep PW, only to be overuled by TD. -
Way to waste your 15 minutes...LOL

Van Miller Interviewed on Denver Radio
sfladave replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually I think in retrospect almost everyone thinks SD made a mistake picking up Rivers. He is eating up a large portion of thier cap and commanded a huge signing bonus. He is still totally unproven and he may be the one who gets traded next year if Brees can get them to the playoffs. That being said, I don't think anyone faulted the Rivers pick up at the time. As for Leinhart, if you put him behind this OL you will not see him going to multiple probowls much less lighting up the league. If the Bills wind up with a chance to snag Leinhart I hope that they trade down. We need to draft OL, DL in addition to some very good FA pick ups in these areas. -
Does anyone here actually REMEMBER Marv Levy?

"Where else would you rather be than right here right now?" Something that I think this team is lacking, the right here right now thing! -
I've got the perfect HC for the Bills.

To everyone who wants to blow up the Bills

OL: C Preston, RT Peters, LT or LG Gandy. We need either a LG or LT and a new RG. We still have Williams(LG?) and Geisenger(sp). Bottom line is we need 2 very good FAs for the OL. DL: Adams is gone so we need a very good DT free agent and a decent draft pick to go with Anderson , Edwards and Bannon. As for the safties, I think we keep Milloy and Vincent, but use them as safties not DEs. Our CB spot is not that bad even if we don't resign Clements. I give us about a 25 to 50% chance to resign him, depending on who our GM and coach is. McGee is here and King and Greer both showed some flashes , but either is a downgrade from Clements. We will not be signing any FA CBs or spending high draft picks on them. WR/EM replacement: This is a little more difficult to figure out. Assuming EM is gone, we have Evens, Aiken, Parrish and Reed(if he resigns). I dont think this position hold a higher priority than the OL or DL in free agancy or the draft. We might be at status quo in the WR position. -
With the current CBA a player cannot take a meaningful contract cut. Moulds might be allowed to take a 10% cut or so, otherwise we would have to extend his contract again or release then try to resign him.

Roscoe Parrish aka Antonio Brown
sfladave replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually he was clocked with one the fastest 40 times in the history of UM. Give Roscoe time, I saw a lot of him at UM, he does have the potential to make some big plays in the NFL. As for his size, did anyone notice some of the blocks he put out there yesterday? -
and one other PFW whisper tidbit
sfladave replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why do so many people think Willis is going to be a hold out? Drew Rosenhaus is a pain in the ass negotiator, but he has always been a proponent of having his players in camp. As for this "rumor", who gives a crap! Willis is signed with the Bills and unless management wants to trade him he will not be going anywhere. Hopefully we will have a new front office next year that is willing to commit to a serious running game, meaning a serious upgrade to the OL. -
I'm hoping we can put on a show at home for the next 2 weeks! Bills 31 (including a 2nd half TD and FG...miracles do happen...lol) Pats 28

I know there is a seperate FF section, but Im not getting much of a response there and this could make the difference of me making the top 4 or not for my fantasy league. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
