  1. Are you trying to tell me that your hard drive doesn't contain pictures of McGahee taking a crap? And you call yourself a Bills fan. Seriously though, I just cropped McGahee out of a picture where he's crying and hugging his agent after getting drafted, so that's probably why he looks a little weird. I've actually been trying to change my avatar to an 80x80 16K JPEG that I made, but the board won't let me. Any idea why? (EDIT: Nevermind, just saw that Avatars are limited to 15K.)
  2. "They? The government?" Seinfeld rules!
  3. Willis McGahee.
  4. I can only hope that you copy and pasted that from another site, because if you actually took the time to think that up and type it out, that's just sad.
  5. Please explain to me what Ty law did to deserve the Super Bowl MVP award n Super Bowl 38. He was part of a secondary that got LIT UP by Delhomme, didn't record an INT, and was part of a defense that gave up 29 ponts and looed lost in the second half. Did you even watch SB 38? Brady threw for 350+ yards, set a record with 32 completions, and threw for three TDs.
  6. Explan to me how a 66.7% completon rate, 9.9 YPA average and 130.4 QB rating are "average."
  7. Yep, Eric Mangini. From what I've heard, he seems to be the favorite.
  8. Yeah, you also said all last week that the Colts were going to win, so don't be surprised if no one takes you seriously.
  9. I simply don't agree with that, and as it's not something that can be proven or disproven, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. That said, there is no doubt that any number of QBs could've stepped in and perfermed as poorly as Bledsoe. It's no difficult task to go out there and tank. I agree that Huard wouldn't have won if he had come in, simply because he couldn't. A QB playing in relief after entering with a lead cannot record a win (at least, not to my knowledge).
  10. What the hell are you arguing anyway? By official records, the '01 AFCCG counts as a win for Brady and as nothing for Bledsoe. You know all those people talking about Brady's now-7-0 playoff record? Well: '01 - Oakland, @Pittsburgh, St. Louis '03 - Tennessee, Indianapolis, Carolina '04 - Indianapolis Those are the seven wins. @Pittsburgh '01 was a win for Brady. How on earth do you figure that? The team was leading when he entered the game, and Damon Huard could've easily matched or exceeded Bledsoe's pitiful performance. You're reaching.
  11. Yes, he had a very nice series in which he completed three of three attempts, one of which was for a touchdown. He, of course, had the benefit of the good field position that Brady had given him, but still a nice series. As I'm sure you also know, after that series, he was putrid, completing just 7 of 18 passes and making countless mental errors. You and I both know that that was no fault of his own. Bledsoe threw several passes into the numbers of Steeler LBs and also threw the ball over his shoulder as he was being sacked. Indeed they did. But they were winning when Bledsoe entered the game as well. In baseball, that's called a save. The win goes to the starter who left with a lead, in this case Brady. Except complete more passes for more yards than Bledsoe in fewer attempts and in less time. Not to mention playing mistake-free football. The facts are down on paper and on film for all to see. Bledsoe's sh-- numbers, rookie-like mental mistakes, and horrid second half performance are all well-documented fact.
  12. You're using Mike and Mike in the morning as a source of NFL insight? Wow. Believe me, I watched the game as a Pats fan praying they would win, and Bledsoe most certainly did not win that game. In fact, he did everything he could to blow the lead that had been established while he was sitting on the bench.
  13. The performance you're referencing is one of many examples of Bledsoe coming up incredibly small in big games.
  14. He was franchised in 2001, and he may be ince again, since the Pats don't have any other pressing UFAs.
  15. You might want to edit that. The only parts of the Steelers that Drew beat three years ago were the linebackers' chests, and he beat them with passes thrown right between the numbers.
  16. It was well before that. Training camp, I believe.
  17. You and most of the media.
  18. Tom Jackson always looks ridiculous. Someone needs to tell him that wearing all one color might be mildly interesting if it's done once every month or something, but when you wear it EVERY TIME YOU APPEAR ON TELEVISION, you look like a fuggin moron. NFL Primetime is now twice as painful, what with Jackson's suits and Berman's annoying nicknames and silly voices.
  19. Look I can see saying that the Colts will win (any given Sunday), and I can see saying that Manning will put up good numbers (he has in two of the last three games versus N.E.), but some of this is just dumb. Colts scoring 48? Brady "choking" against the Colts pathetic secondary? Please, come back to reality.
  20. Not watched the Pats in a while, huh?
  21. So has Brady. But again, that's not "winning by yourself." There are still ten other guys on the field who have to make plays in order for the team to succeed. I agree. I'm just puzzled as to why you're omitting Brady, who has been asked to take responsibility for winning more big games in his short career than some players have in careers three times as long, and has come through EVERY TIME. I suspect it's out of jealousy because he's a division rival, but perhaps you could clarify. All I do know is that it cannot possibly be logic or reason that has led you to believe that Brady is somehow below Brett "Let-me-lob-it-up-for-grabs-in-OT-and-see-what-happens" Favre in terms of winning games of any kind. Is that suppoed to pass as humor? How...unsophisticated.
  22. No QB in the history of the NFL has ever been asked to win a game all by himself. This kind of buzzword-based hyperbole means absolutely nothing. The real point is that Brady is asked by his coaches to do more than the vast majority of other QBs in the NFL. He plays in a complex offense offense that requires the QB to act as an on-field coach, and he has succeeded in unbelievable fashion. While we have established that "winning a game all by himself" is meaningless hyperbole, Brady has been nothing short of perfect in the situations that require the QB to do the most in the least amount of time (end-of-game/end-of-half/overtime/two-minute-drill). Knowing this, it's safe to assume that Brady has done more "by himself" than most, if not all, NFL QBs.
  23. Brady is where he is because of Dillon? How did Dillon help Brady when Brady took an 0-2 team that was widely tought of as the worst in the NFL, and led them to the Super Bowl? How did Dillon help Brady lead the league in TD passes in '02 despite a pathetic OL and supporting cast? How did Dillon help Brady win ANOTHER Super Bowl in '03, despite suffering countless injuries to himself and his teammates? Brady has done more with less than any QB in the NFL over the last three years, and Dillon was not a part of it. Brady has been surrounded by mediocre offensive talent for his whole career, and has not only put up very good numbers (11th best QB rating of all time at the beginning of this year), but has won every single big game he's played in. Brady is one of the few QBs in the league who HAS routinely won games when they've been put into his hands. That's documented fact.
