  1. They're pretty good. Including the playoffs? I think the team went 8-0 in them. And Brady might've gotten some award for his performance in the last one. It was a while ago, I can't really remember. The one where he entered with a lead and proceeded to try and throw the game away on countless occassions during the second half? Nah, I think I won't throw that in if it's all the same to you. To be honest, I'm trying erase that hidious performance from my memory. Thanks for bringing it up.
  2. Brady in 14 games in '01: 2,843 yards 18 TDs, 12 INTs 63.9% completion rate 86.5 QB rating 11-3 record Bledsoe in 14 games in '04: 2,571 yards 19 TDs, 15 INTs 56.4% completion rate 76.9 QB rating 8-6 record Care to fabricate any more easily refutable claims?
  3. On topic, the Bills will be SERIOUS contenders next season, provided they make the necessary change at QB. Their defense and special teams are among the most dominant in the league, and the offense line and skill position players will benefit from playing with a competent passer next year. Congrats.
  4. Should be interesting to see how the Pats offense will look next year with an actual capable playcaller on the sidelines. Weis's gameplanning will be missed, but I will be glad to see his awful in-game playcalling leave for South Bend.
  5. Look, I've already said that I think McGahee is playing well for you guys and that he has a bright future. I just think he's being overrated by many and that Donahoe was stupid to use a pick on a player who had to wait a year. And now that Henry's value has dropped ike a rock, he won't be able to regain the pick. Again, good player, but I'm still dubious about him and the circumstances that brought him to Buffalo. I'm sure the pivture will be clearer next year when the Bills have a real QB and are contending for a playoff spot from week one.
  6. Hi Willis! Call me when you get your YPC average above 4.0!
  7. It sounds crazy, but would you really be surprised.
  8. Don't know where you get your statistics from, but Bledsoe's numbers today were good for a QB rating of 64.6.
  9. It was originally going to be at 1:00, but the league changed it a few weeks back because CBS had the double header and all the 4:00 games were duds.
  10. I don't find 100 yards all too impressive when it takes 30 carries to get there. McGahee's been good overall, and in some games has been VERY good, but he's not yet worthy of the praise he's received. At least not in my opinion.
  11. I'll name two, and both at HUGE need positions. Dallas Clark and Eric Steinbach. Tough to say in this crazy, parity-filled NFL. But this is a win-no league, and drafting a player who won't contribute for a year at a position in which you have a Pro Bowler is never wise.
  12. I think he was a great college player who will be a very good NFL player once he gains some experience and regains full strength in his knee. I think he's been massively overhyped this year by both the media and Bills fans, given that his numbers are average (sub 4.0 YPC); and I still think it was a stupid pick by Donahoe because Henry was coming off a Pro Bowl season and taking a player who could've actually contributed could've made a big difference in '03. This is the NFL. The window of opportunity is small and closes quickly, and it's beyond foolish to say "I'll jump through it in a year or two."
  13. Whoops! Yes, I meant kickoffs.
  14. Punts are returned to the 30-35 yard line FAR more often than they are to the 15 or 20.
  15. How do you come up with this stojan?
  16. I thought that was on "I'm So Tired."
  17. It was a tipped ball because it was two feet above Evans' head.
  18. And if you take away his two best game, he has been rather horrid. It's all moot, though, because the NFL is not in the business of striking games from the record to suit the statistical desires of the fans.
  19. I think some Bills fans may be upset because for every decent game that Bledsoe has in what is now a lost '04 season, the '05 season is hurt that much because Losman will have that much less experience when he's starting next year. They're not mad at Bledsoe for playing somewhat competently, they mad because they know that management will be blinded by his performance and leave him in even though it will stunt the future's growth. But hey, that's just my take.
  20. **ahem**, Bledsoe already won a Super Bowl sitting on the bench.
  21. The point is that bad calls happen to everyone. EVERYONE. The good teams overcome them, the bad ones don't. This is the reality. Deal with it.
  22. Yeah! Like when they singlehandedly tried to give the Dolphons the game in OT last year by fixing the coin toss and then ignoring a Dolphins WR stepping out of bounds TWICE during a catch! Or when they gave Denver the ball on a fumble that Brady recovered! Those wacky zebras! Always thinking of new ways to help the Pats!
  23. Two in three years and counting!
  24. Maybe I'll reconsider my stance once Manning actually wins something of consequence. Until then, he'll be a great fantasy QB who just can't cut it in a big game.
