    Kobe Bryant actually owns a division 2 (Serie B) soccer team in Italy. For sure if players straight out of high school were given scholarships to play soccer rather than football or basketball, you might have a better national team but that's not the culture/tradition.

    It follows the mentality of the league. Milan, Roma, Inter and Juve have all focused on more attacking play. Also doesn't help that there is not another Nesta/Cannavaro for miles.

    This Italy team will not be champion in 2010. A few moments of brilliance from some great players allowed Italy to come out with a win but this team will not win against the bigger countries. Not because they can't attack, but because they can't defend.

    I find that strange. I know of numerous celebrities including Schumacher that have houses in the mountains over there so I assumed that they would be prepared for this kind of stuff. I could be wrong though as I've never had to use it when I was there.

    Mont Tremblant is a high end resort. Even if it is based in Canada, I highly doubt the medical care is the same that you would get in any normal citry.

    I remember I had the same trouble with Bloomberg Excel tools where I wanted to extract ex-dates and it would pull out some as mm/dd/yyyy and others as dd/mm/yy Try playing with the regional settings in the control panel.

With all due respect to the media (as if they deserve any), Theo came from a family of loansharks who used his cash to help his family lend and eventually, charge ridiculous rates. This is nothing. In the NFL, these guys would barely even get an article on page 129.

    He's much better off playing for a small club in Europe than as a bench warmer for Bayer Monaco. In Bayer, chances are he won't really get much playing time competing with guys like Podolski, Ribery and Luca Toni.
