Usually but I thought I saw him in the hilight rack this week.

One matchup I'm not a fan of is Nico Collins vs the Bills soft zone, after what Drake London did as the only downfield weapon the Falcons has that was worth guarding and the Bills decided it was a good idea not to guard him and rely on Le System!@!

A Few Thoughts about the Bucs Game - Community Edition
Ralonzo replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's pretty hard to put up 60 when the main goal of your offense is to shorten the game to 7-8 possessions... the only calculation I can think of for this strategy is when you think your defense is worse than the opponent by an even larger margin than your offense is better than them. -

Are we seriously not getting the Fastest Two Minutes because of this stupid commercial for the 17th remake of Pocahontas? -
Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
Ralonzo replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
The defense is high-variance defense that overly relies on plays for losses and turnovers. Yet they try to pair with a low-variance offense that tries to shorten the game, and possess the ball over explosive plays. This is not complementary football, is it? -
It looked like the Tampa coaches found a tendency where Milano has a key that influences him to the center of the field while the RB is slipping out for the wheel route. The TD, they used that and Milano totally took the cheese, the "oh *****" look on his face said it all, but they used it again later and it worked again.

Around the NFL - Week 11 games (no Bills talk in this thread please)
Ralonzo replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just coming back to the KC game, I wonder if Romo crossed a rubicon, he was seriously upset with the BS flag costing Denver a pick 6 and wasn't letting it go for the remainder of that series and a little beyond even. The shield can't be happy with him (and basically eff them and eff Mahomes with his whole "yeah i knew the flag was coming, 1st down" routine) -

Well that's no surprise, McDermott can't have his OC scoring too much, too fast and keep putting his precious defense on the field.

In the eye test, the Dolphins dominated the Bills (particularly in the trenches) to roughly the same degree the Bills dominated the Chiefs a week earlier. The end results: The Dolphins smoked the Bills by 17, while the Bills needed to survive a Hail Mary (which they occasionally don't - see Arizona) Under Daboll, every play was designed to pick up a first down. McDermott hated that, since it scores too quickly. Brady is running exactly the smallball offense McDermott wants, where it's more important to grind first downs and protect the defense and not put them out there where they get gashed on the regular by anyone who just friggin runs the ball against their zones full of undersized poor tacklers. The Bills coaching staff minimizes the advantages they have on offense, just to protect an obviously incapable defense that is more directly attributable to the head coach. Is it just to protect his reputation? It's maddening. No wonder Allen looks like "***** this *****" after half these series of no-margin-for-error playcalls.

I misread the title as "Puking At Hard Rocks Stadium"

Hot Take: “Old Joe” Flacco exposing what some (including me) suspected…

Elite passer yes, not elite arm talent. It's the head talent that makes him a great passer, processing and recognition. -
Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
Ralonzo replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's what I saw on a plurality of snaps too, Walker getting pushed downfield while the rest of the DL was collapsing things. I'm not gonna kill a 21 year old rookie 4th rounder too much for it, they've put a ton on his plate with 91 and 92 out and he's exceeded all reasonable expectation. -
Ex-Bills return to OBD as predictably as Jason Voorhees to Crystal Lake this time of year.
