What would possibly entice a fane to leave early?
ACor58 replied to MDyl7993's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are 100% correct in everything that you just said. While we might be one of the smallest markets in the league, we also have the lowest ticket prices. I will start by saying that I am not a seaosn ticket holder, but I do attend about 2 games per year. I am probably going to get blasted on this but here goes. The majority of our sellouts aren't even to Bills Fans. Attending a Patriots, Jets, Browns, or Steelers game is misleading, since their fans out number Bills fans in many of the sections. The Gameday experience at Ralph Wilson Stadium is horrible. The traffic is terrible getting in and it is terrible getting out. The Jumbotron is pathetic so trying to watch a replay is torture, especially if you have to turn around 180 degrees to watch it because there is only one. Worst of all, going to the bathroom. If you go in between any quarter or halftime you are guaranteed to miss at least half of the upcoming quarter. I am much happier having the same group of friends over every week and wtaching it in HD at my house. -

Couldn't they have just dropped Hillary in from a plane and not given her a parachute. -

The traffic situation at Ralph Wilson Stadium is horrible. From the parking lot all the way to 90 is is a freaking nightmare. Whoever designed the in roads and out roads to the place must be the same idiots that designed the bathrooms inside the stadium. I would say that a good portion of the fan base comes from outside of Buffalo, and most of them have jobs. There is a huge difference in getting back to Rochester in an an hour and 15 minutes than there is getting home in 3 1/2 hours when you have to get up and go to work the following morning, especially after leaving Rochester an 7:30 AM to go tailgating. -
How bout Willis' blocking yesterday.

Terry Donahue hired Dennis Erickson to coach the 49ers. That alone should have not gotten him an "analyst" job at FOX. -
NBC Football Night in America Broadcast

Oh, I hate Pink and I hate the song. But it is one of those things that I hate so much that I watch it just to reinforce how much I hate it. -
This thread sounds a lot like the fans in the movie Major League. As the movie progresses, they show the fans (Guys at the Diner, Construction Worker, Japanese Ground Crew) who start the season, "I've never heard of half these guys", "Who are these F**kin' guys?, They're Sh!tty, etc.) The Indians manage to win a few followed by, "You know, they aren't too bad" or "These guys ain't too F**kin' bad", and the Japanese guys saying "They're Still Sh!tty." Probably not much point to my post, just thought that it was funny.

For some reason, the games on Sunday night have all felt bigger and better. Starting with the highlight show (Though nothing can replace Primetime) right through the game itself. I am a huge fan of what NBC has done. Speaking of the highlight show, the first thing they do is run through the scores of the ealry games with a small headline summary under each. My favorite yesterday was: "Tricky Mangini Outsmarts Himself", referring to the 4th and goal interception that haz Pennington threw.

That block on Kevin Williams was Tivo worthy. We watched it 3 times. -
Nothing better than the Fox Robots. My favorite is the one that just runs in place and then points. Apparently they think that it brings more attitude to the broadcast. I just think that they suck.

I was waiting for someone to bring this up! My guess is that Gilbride had left a few pages of his playbook around before Mularkey got here. Meathead found them and said "You know what, these aren't half bad." Then he brought them to Miami with him.

Chester Taylor averaged 2.3 yards per carry and only rushed for 23 yards. I think that the line was pretty damn good.

A sack, a fumble, and a Touchdown is incredible, and all in one play. -

Isn't that like everyone having to pay for those stupid Spanish Speaking Channels, or Lifetime, or Oprahs Channel, or the Religion Channels, etc. -
We can argue until we are blue in the face about this, especially about trading up and down for value. The fact is that most "experts" basically said that Whitner was not worthy of being picked in the #8 spot. It doesn't change the fact that most "experts" questioned Marv Levy's judgement and ability for picking him that high, with many calling him senile. Whitner has more than proven, in his short career, that he was worthy of being picked in the #8 spot, and proving most of the "experts" wrong.

Like the owner of the Patriots doesn't have enough freaking money... "The 44-year-old Ass, who legally changed his name from Bob Craft in 1997, is seeking at least $10 million from Viacom, which Ass contends is "liable for injury to a reputation I have built and defamation of character I have created." -
Nice work Donte. The media are all backtracking. "We are not saying that it was a reach, just that the Bills coulod have traded back and still been able to pick him...blah, blah, blah."

Is that the same episode that he gives a Blumpkin to Mr. Tuttle so he can pass Driver's Ed?

No, I believe that he did that in his stage act. The last prank with Ehren MaGahey as the terrosist was one of the funniest things that I have ever seen, right down to his "beard". -

Do you have Ben Harper's latest, Both Sides of The Gun? If you don't it is definitely worth a listen. Great Disc. -

While Jack Johnson and Ben Harper have worked together and toured together quite a bit, you are actually thinking of Jont, a British Band. The song is called Sweetheart. (It isn't on the soundtrack) http://www.amazon.com/One-Long-Song-Jont/d...ie=UTF8&s=music -
It is much, much better than the first one. I cannot believe that no one died making this. Go see it, you'll like it.

No, and you can stop PMing them to me as well.
