Detroit quietly slips..... The injuries inexplicably keep mounting for the Detroit Lions defense and Thursday Night Football was no different. Despite orchestrating a defense that missed half its starters at times in Week 14, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn still held the Packers offense to a 20 percent third-down conversion rate and 14 of the points allowed came on short fields after turnovers. With that said, until this unit gets healthier, there are some concerns because Detroit has three games in the past four weeks with 1 sack or fewer and this run defense is beginning to have some issues.
