You could go out and get one of those Matthews factory refurbished trannys... they would bridge the gap till you make the decision to put the brand new tranny in. Come on. Troy Vincent is Troy Vincent. Expecting Troy Vincent to play a full season without missing games is like expecting a Buffalo winter without snow. Anyone remember the last time he played a full season? The 2000 season. This is Vincent's 13th season in the league. In 13 years as a player he's only played a full season 4 times. 2000 was an aberation because the only other 3 seasons he did it was back to back to back in 95,96,97. He's also a union activist, so he's gonna take care of number 1 before he takes care of anything else. This is just another in a long line Teflon Tom gaffes. Dude... from one moron to another... I've posted this a few times... beginning last season and it was dismissed as a bunch of stevestojan. Almost every defense that the bills offense faces uses the same strategy. They stack the line and run blitz... if Bledsoe happens to have a pass called on one of those run blitzes... so what? The opposing defense is willing to bet that they can either bother Bledsoe enough to either make a bad decision (ie. throw of back foot, throw a bad pass, move into a rush from the side) or get sacked. The opposition defense is basically attacking the weakest link... make Bledsoe beat us... not Moulds, not McGahee, not Evans. Apparently Simon, morons like you and I, are the only ones that seem to understand that the bills offense is handcuffed as long as Bledsoe is the QB. We seem to be the only ones that understand that the Bledsoe offense cannot use a moving pocket left or a moving pocket right. They cannot call for the QB to roll right or roll left. They cannot successfully execute a bootleg. They cannot realize any benefit from a spread offense. And lastly... the offensive line cannot continue to take the blame, as you stated, for either the stupidity, stubborness, or lack of balls by the head coach. So... what's the answer to the problem? JP, Mathews? Well, we know what the answer isn't... B-L-E-D-S-O-E !!! OK... so Mike "full of" Mularkey says JP aint ready. OK, I'll give him that. What about Matthews? Why isn't he ready? What happens if we put DB out there and he struggles? So what if JP flops? DB's already flopped. after 2 1/2 years of DB flopping, no one is cutting him any slack. JP can struggle, but fans will give him a free pass. There no longer are expectations that the Bills will make the playoffs this year. The remaining games are basically just additional 2005 preseason games.

Sunday they face the Rams... #6 in offense. Again, the Bills D gets a lucky breeak... winds are supposed to be 17 MPH with gusts to 34 MPH... which of course, grounds the Rams passing game... If Sunday is just a normal day with 10-15 MPH winds, the Rams shread the Bills... no contest. Since the Rams D stinks, handing the ball to McGahee 40 times keeps the Rams offense off the field. The bottom line: McGahee is the bills best defensive player

Bledsoe ain't ready to play. 2) You are judging JP based on 5 plays in mop up duty against a team that was playing at home and had their collective ears pinned back all game long? Plus... 1) MM says JPs only options were about 3 or 4 plays that he could run ... now there's a great way to evaluate a performance. 2) if there is in credence to the story out of Pittsburgh re: JP just thrown in willy-nilly, then how would you expect him to perform? If JP wasn't ready MM wouldn't have put him in there... and certainly would not have called passing plays... he would have simply handed the ball off and hit the showers. So what if he isn't ready... who the hell cares? If he stink, he stinks... at least he's gaining knowledge of the position. Bledsoe stinks... and he gets worse every game. What's the worse thing that could happen to JP??? ... Injury? So what, he's got a whole year to heal. spoon fed QBs suck. If he continues to ride pine he's not going to gain a godamn thing.

screwed we are... teflon donahoe has dug a deeper hole than butler. it's one thing to dig a hole... but to dig it so deep you are seriouly fugged is another. If I'm building a team as a GM, the first two people I'm going to hire are the best offensive line coach and defensive line coach and then I'm going to draft or bring in via free agency the best players I can get on o and d lines. those two areas define the team... football hasn't change... the battle is still won at the line of scrimmage. The Bills are deficient on both sides of the football in that regard.
