He literally is almost identical. Reed is 2 inches taller, that's about it Both were mid Rd picks Both were from smaller schools ( Reed obviously much smaller) Both live over the middle Both have unique feel for zones and covg over the middle Both have unique acceleration and yac ability Both have excellent hands and toughness They even look similar in how they play from from a stylistic standpoint.

He got hurt. He was in the running for dpoy in 22 before getting hurt. His pass rushing metrics and eye test say he's very close to fully back. Obviously at 35 he's pacing himself and it's undeniable that he has flashed prime Von in spots this year. His sack vs the jets is prime Von. Broussaard pretty much said Allen is going to win it. In other words, ( I know many of the voters and it's over,it's Allen's turn). So while I'm still concerned, he obviously wouldn't of said that if he didn't already know what the voters were thinking Here's what I'll say. Can we please get a specific methodology or criteria, maybe statistical thresholds or something for these accolades? There is a serious effort to not give him the MVP award. Charlie kolar literally just said some insane stuff. Obviously I think he's deserving. But I've never seen this vitriol from prominent ppl in the media, former players etc. It's absolutely emotional and human beings making emotional decisions is usually a recipe for disaster Prepare for anything when they vote.
