  1. In 2003 the Bills defeated NE and then JAX to go to 2-0 before they lost to the fins.
  2. IMHO, I have no clue as to who I want to win this game.
  3. No, absolutely no injuries that I heard of.
  4. Yea, he's a good guy and a great special teamer, but that's about it. If he combined fred taylor's and maurice jones drew's names one more time I may have plowed my size 12 throught the tv. I think Trent has great chemistry with about everyone. This was his BEST game as a Bill so far. Yea, I can't believe I'm saying this but, Youboty was arguably the best tackler out there today! 2-0, baby!!
  5. I'm lovin this team too. I always have and always will! 2-0
  6. Sounds extremely innovative, but also extremely dangerous; just picture the thing collapsing with 70,000 Bills fans in it!!
  7. 1. Confidence- After pounding the 2007 AFC West Champs, the Bills have to be feeling pretty good. 2. Health- Injuries for the Bills today... 0. Injuries for the Jags... 3 offensive linemen, 1 of which came back and WR Reggie Williams had a bicep issue prior to the game. 3. New Players Next Week- If active, I'm sure McCargo will be playing like a man possessed to prove himself. Also expect Chris Ellis to be active. Another new guy we'll see next week will be James Hardy. Yes, he played today, but sparingly. I have a feeling we will get a good glimpse of what our 2nd round draft pick can really do next week. 4. JASON PETERS!!
  8. I'm not gonna lie, i'm not sad at all! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! This totally shifts the power in the AFC East. Get Well Tom.
  9. I'll second that! That man just lived in the backfield today!
  10. Well next week he'll most likely be back at RT anyway.
  11. Darn, it's good to see a Bills fan supports his starting qb.
  12. Yea, I totally agree. Also, the draw play totally mauled the Bills all day!
  13. Actually, yea, something like that. The recievers Trent was throwing to were facing 1st string guys, whereas the recievers JP was facing were facing scrubs. Here some simple logic for you... Which is a better matchup? Roscoe against Byron Westbrook OR Roscoe against Leigh Torrence?
  14. First off, this was the bills FIRST pre-season game, so there was bound to be some rust from some guys. Also, this was the 'Skins 2nd pre-season game, so they were more prepared/experienced than the Bills coming into this game. 1.) Trent wasn't perfect, but he is the guy I want to start all 16 games this year. I think his recievers just did not get great separation and he did not have much time to pass the ball. 2.) JP may have been 7-9, but he is still erratic and a mediocre QB. He holds on to the ball way too long, locks onto the same recievers, and his passes are inaccurate. For example, on the long completion to Roscoe Parrish, he put too much air under the ball (which he has been doing quite a bit during training camp) and severely underthrew the ball. 3.) Youboty looked pretty sound out there. I don't think he wiffed on any tackles and he made a pick. Audition or not, he looked impressive. 4.) Did Lee Evans or McGee play? 5.) McKelvin looked good returning the ball, but he looked like a rookie on the defensive side of the ball. That play where Betts scored a td, McKelvin tried shedding a block, whereas he should have just taken it if. If he would of taken the block on, Betts may of been tackled. 6.) Thank Goodness James Hardy had that touchdown. He was having a horrible game up to that point (he dropped a pass, was unsure on a couple of motions, and had a false start penalty called against him). That was huge for his confidence and composure, and it was something he can build off of. 7.) STROUD ONLY PLAYED FOR ONE SERIES!! 8.) The Bills desperately need Peters out there. Their running game was just not the same with that big, low IQed, lug out there.
  15. Yea, McKelvin looked electric out there. Did McGee even play tonight? Totally agree and I think him proving himself depends on one thing: Jason Peters. If JP shows up, he will drastically change the look of this offense. Trent will be able to look downfield more often and the run will become more effective to set up the pass. Also, Is it me, or did Kawika have a poor first outing as a Bill?
  16. Wendling looked pretty good. The guy really packs a punch when he tackles. He was nothing special on pass defense, but he did have one big hit.
  17. # 10 http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/extr...ube2/index.html EDIT: Here's another video worth watching (not Bills related, but quite entertaining nonetheless.) http://view.break.com/550683
  18. Are you telling me the Patri*ts won't be playing us after their bye?
  19. It's good to see your representing the bills! Not a bad team overall, I think you have some solid WRs and Marshawn Lynch, whoa, watch out the rest of your league! Good team!
  20. good stuff... Too bad he missed four practices already!
  21. Kyle Williams missed the first practice to be present at the birth of his second child. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/
  22. sweet. After listening to Koziol on GR, the Bills better sign Mckelvin and Hardy TODAY! The Bills start out w/ 2 two-a-days!
