  1. Re-sign- S/LB/ST Coy Wire (He is very versatile and enjoys Buffalo), G/T Mike Gandy (He is one of the leaders of the line and will continue to jell with the other guys), RB Anthony Thomas (He is a blue collared, run in between the tackles, smash-mouth Buffalo type of guy.), Anthony Hargrove (He is a rising star with loads of enthusiasm), CB Jabari Greer (He has blazing speed and is needed for depth) ** Kelsay is not needed because Hargrove is developing into an outstanding player and Denney is pretty solid. Clements will end up signing a monster contract somewhere else. So, Marv and Co. will have plenty of cap room to sign a big name or two. Signings OG Eric Steinbach- Mr. Levy is all about winning at the lines. I was listening to Ho. Simon and Jerry Sullivan today, they both said that Ralph is willing to break the bank this off season. Well, he's gonna break that bank allright. Steinbach will sign a pretty hefty contract, but it will be well worth it. It will improve both the rushing and passing attack. CB Travis Fisher- He has previous experience with Perry Fewell. Hopefully, that chemistry will want him to sign in Buffalo and play well. He's got blazing speed and would compete for the #2/#3 corner spot. LB Boss Bailey- He played under Dick Jauron a few seasons back and hopefully he can be lured to sign here. He is a freak of nature with great athletic abiltiy (48 inch vertical and 4.35 40). I think he could flourish with the cover-2 scheme. Draft 1. DT Amobi Okoye- He has the potential to be a perennial Pro-Bowl DT. Once again, Marv wants to shure up the lines. I think Okoye will be the missing piece in the undersized DT puzzle. He will fit in prefectly with Tripplett, McCargo, and Williams. Also, John Gruden befriended him, so you know he's a good guy. 2. TE Zach Miller- People are saying this guy is the next Todd Heap. He will open up the passing game and take some pressure off Lee Evans. 3. WR Jason Hill- He is a prolific WR who many call and "overachiever" with limited athletic abilities. What the he!! is an "Overachiever", if you do great, you're great. I think this guy will be one of the steals of the draft. 4. RB Lorenzo Booker- Willis's future is in doubt in Buffalo. Booker has all of the physical tools to be a good RB and he is a good guy off the field. He will come in and be a good change of pace back. 6. FB Le'Ron McClain- He is a solid blocker who can also catch the pass. 7. WR Matt Trannon- He is 6'6 and is on the basketball team, I'd roll the dice on a guy like that any day of the week. Depth Chart QB 1. JP Losman 2. Craig Nall 3. Tory Woodbury* RB 1. Willis McGahee 2. Lorenzo Booker 3. Anthony Thomas FB 1. Brad Cieslak** 2. Le'Ron McClain WR 1. Lee Evans 2. Jason Hill 3. Roscoe Parrish 4. Peerless Price 5. Josh Reed 6. Matt Trannon TE 1. Robert Royal 2. Zach Miller 3. Kevin Everett LT 1. Jason Peters 2. Brad Butler LG 1. Mike Gandy 2. Aaron Merz C 1. Melvin Fowler 2. Duke Preston RG 1. Eric Steinbach 2. Duke Preston RT 1. Terrance Pennington 2. Brad Butler LE 1. Anthony Hargrove 2. Ryan Denney DT 1. Larry Tripplett 2. Amobi Okoye 3. John McCargo 4. Kyle Williams RE 1. Aaron Schobel 2. Ryan Denney LOLB 1. Boss Bailey 2. Keith Ellison 3. Coy Wire MLB 1. Angelo Crowell 2. Mario Haggan 3. John "It's not Delivery" DiGiorgio ROLB 1. Takeo Spikes 2. Keith Ellison 3. Coy Wire CB 1. Terrence McGee 2. Ashton Youboty*** 3. Travis Fisher 4. Jabari Greer FS 1. Ko Simpson 2. Jim Leonhard SS 1.Donte Whitner 2. Matt Bowen K Ryan "Money" Lindell P Brain "Da Boot" Moorman * He's making the team this year, dammit! ** I think Cieslak played pretty well at FB this year, and would be a good FB for years to come. *** Many people fail to realize that Ashton Youboty has the talent to be the next Nate Clements. Just check out his NFL.com draft profile, these guys rave about him: http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2006/youboty_ashton
  2. This is the quote that I enjoy the most of all of them. Bills Owner Ralph Wilson, on Kraft suggesting the team should sell the naming rights to Ralph Wilson Stadium: “I appreciate Kraft’s suggestion. It recalls the oldest story of life: When you go to a poor guy, he will give you money. When you go to a rich guy, he will give you advice” Classic. That old chap still got it.
  3. I'm not sure he'll be able to play SS next year, he said he is going to put on some LBs.
  4. I totally agree. He was a first day draft pick as a LB. He also has some speed and playing DB could have only helped him with this cover 2 scheme. He's a great locker room guy and a hard worker. You might call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind seeing him start next year! ALSO- This means that Marv has started working! Ralph better get the old Ford Taurus started!
  5. Yea, Lucky number sleven was surprisingly good.
  6. rd.1) DT Amobi Okoye Marv, Ralph, and Tom had loads of interest in him prior to the Senior Bowl. I think his stellar performance there convinced the Bills that he's their guy. Yes, he may be a little undersized, but he is olnly 19! He will only continue to grow. He is a very bright guy and he has a relentless work ethic. When John Gruden can only say good things about a player, you know he's the real deal. rd.2) WR Robert Meachem Robert Meachem has excellent size (6-3 210) and put up very productive numbers his junior year. JP needs a true number two target and Meachem is his guy. Robert had 71 catches and 11tds this past season. He will ease some pressure off of Lee Evans and open up the passing game. rd.3) G Marshal Yanda He is very versatile (played LT senior year). He has loads of upside and could be one of the steals of the draft. With the help of McNally, we could have another Jason Peters on our hands. rd.4) RB Lorenzo Booker He is a very elusive back with break away speed. He is an excellent guy off the field and will eventually become the replacement for Willis McGahee. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...deoid=615231836 rd.6) FB rd.7)CB
  7. Marv better be watchin Okoye! he's gonna be an all-pro for years to come!
  8. Sounds a lot like Clevend. But those guys signed plenty of players last off-season
  9. What a great point! That's some ESPN information right there!
  10. - traded Willis McGahee and a 2nd for Houston's 1st picks. - traded Nate Clements and the 12th overall pick to Tennesee for the Albert Haynesworth, the 19th overall pick, and their 3rd rnd. pick. - I traded the 8th overall pick to PHI for their 1st and 2nd rd picks. http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/view...ec0fba862ba7f5c
  11. my god, this is getting ridiculous! Goodell should condemn theire convict a$$es!
  12. ....Just when I was about run around my neighborhood waving my Bills flag joyously....
  13. GO COLTS! I'd be nice to see both Manning and Dungy get rings!
  14. This is the happiest I have ever been for a non-Bills victory! The dynasty is crumbling!! FU BRADY AND BELLICHECK!!
  15. is going to be the super bowl MVP!!
  16. I'd go with scenario C any day of the week!!
  17. I was thinking that instead of just doing a GM mock draft, we should do a whole mock off-season (Free Agency, Trades, Cuts, Draft). I was thinking that the free-agents could have a set price (different price depending upon the player), and you the GMs sign them (if more than one GM were interest in a Free Agent, then they'd have to bid for him.) Of course each team will have their real cap room. Anybody have any comments, advice, or ideas. Would anybody be interested in this??
  18. I think Marshawn Lynch would be too good to pass up. Other guys I considered were: Patrick Willis (But many people said #12 was too early for him, there are many available LB FAs, and Crowell could move to MLB) and Amobi Okoye (The Bills could draft a DT later in the draft, He will need time to develop since he is only 19, Mccargo will be back next year.)
  19. #1.) Oakland Raiders- JAMARCUS RUSSELL Aaron Brooks, Andrew Walter... Jeesh! Russell\'s got a cannon for an arm, and hopefully the o-line will jell, and he\'ll be able to hurl bombs to Randy Moss all year round. #2.) Detroit Lions- BRADY QUINN Jon Kitna sure isn\'t the qb of the future for this club. Quinn\'s got all the athletic ability, and hopefully he can pan out and make Matt Millen look sane for once. #3.) Clevend Browns- ADRIAN PETERSON Ruben Droughns is adequate at best. With Bentley coming back, hopefully Cleveland can become a smash mouth football team. Peterson ran for over 1,000 yds while missing 7 games... This guy is a stud! #4.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- JOE THOMAS Jeremy Trueblood and Anthony Davis are below average tackles. This horrible season by Cadilliac Williams was no fluke, the Bucs need offensive line help! Joe Thomas is an all-pro, first tier tackle who will be paving the way for Caddy\' for years to come. #5.) Arizona Cardinals (TRADE PICK TO ATL FOR EXTRA 2ND)- CALVIN JOHNSON Michael Vick does not have too many solid targets beyond Alge Crumpler. Calvin Johnson will excel the Falcons to the upper echelon of teams in the NFL. Vick will have another target to throw to, excelling his game and with the improvement to Vick\'s passing game will come an improvement to the allready solid rushing game. #6.) Washington Redskins- GAINES ADAMS Their sack leader (Andre Carter) only had 6 sacks! Hopefully Gaines Adams will give the Deadskin\'s defense a better pass rush. #7.) Minnesota Vikings- DWAYNE JARRETT This pick might seem to be a reach, but I totally disagree. Jarett is a tall reciever (6\'5) and extremely talented. The Vikings also desperately need a standout Wide Reciever. #8.) Houston Texans- LARON LANDRY I think David Carr could start in place of C.C. Brown and Glenn Earl. Landry is a ballhawk with a lot of talent who will add some more talent to the Houston Secondary. #9.) Miami Dolphins- LEON HALL Nick Saban (o wait..... lol) cringes when he things about his starting corners in Andre Goodman and Will Allen. Leon Hall is an instant starter with good size and will be another Patrick Surtain in Miami. #10.) Arizona Cardinals- LEVI BROWN Leonard Davis is a Free Agent (some Arizona fans are kind of happy about that) and Edge only averaged 3.4 ypc. Brown is an exceptional athlete and will be a starter from day one. #11.) San Francisco 49ers- ALAN BRANCH The 3-4 defense needs a great DT and Bryant Young is getting pretty old. Alan Branch is undoubtedly the best DT entering the draft and will play very well in San Fran. #12.) Buffalo Bills (Best team in the NFL)- MARSHAWN LYNCH Willis is really starting to doubt many Bills fans, including myself. He\'s got 3 kids with 3 different women, he\'s not the brightest bulb, and he hits the hole like an old person with a walker. Marshawn Lynch looks like a stud, he can catch, he has speed, and he breaks tackles. When he joins JP Losman, the Bills\' opposing defenses will be having nightmares. #13.) St. Louis Rams- JAMAAL ANDERSON This pick is a no brainer. Jamaal Anderson is a premiere prospect who will make Rams fans forget about Victor Adeyanju. #14.) Carolina Panthers- PAUL POSLUSZNY The future of Dan Morgan is in doubt and the loss of Will Witherspoon really hurt the Panthers' linebackin coorp. Paterno called him the best linebacker he ever coached! #15.) Pittsburgh Steelers- DARRELLE REVIS The Steelers can definitely use depth at the corner position. Revis has great speed and good size, he will most likely be a starter in 07\'. #16.) Green Bay Packers- AMOBI OKOYE The Packers don't have a standout at DT and Okoye can be the answer. The guy made the Louisville football Team at the age of 16! #17.) Jacksonville Jaguars- COLT BRENNAN Supposedly Leftwiech is on his way out and Gerrard isn\'t a type of team leading quarterback that the Jags need. Brennan put up huge numbers and he will be a Losman type of player. #18.) Cincinnati Bengals- DEMARCUS TYLER The Bengals have a bunch of average DTs and Demarcus \"tank\" tyler is a Laroi Glover type who will step in and make an impact for the Bengal D-line. #19.) Tennessee Titans- QUENTIN MOSES Van Don Bosch is a good player, but he gets hurt quite a bit. The Titans may have some talent on their d-line, but they sure can use Quentin Moses. #20.) New York Giants- MARCUS MCCAULEY Finish 28th in the league in pass defense sure isn\'t a feat for the G-men. Mccauley has all the tools to be the shut down corner and will add some athleticism to the Giant secondary. #21.) Denver Broncos- TED GINN JR. The Broncos do not have any solid recievers beyond Walker and Smith. Smith is aging, and the Broncos don't have a true return man. Ginn will fit in perfectly. #22.) Dallas Cowboys- JUSTIN BLALOCK The Cowboys could use a versatile guard like Blalock. I see him starting over Kyle Kosier next year. #23.) Kansas City Chiefs- PATRICK WILLIS With Kawika Mitchell on his way out, the Chiefs will need a MLB. Willis is the definite answer. He is a great, athletic, hard working LB who will be terrific in the next level. #24.) New England Patriots- MICHAEL GRIFFIN Artell Hawkins is getting pretty old and his isn\'t that great. Griffin is an excellent and versatile DB who can play both sides of the ball. #25.) New York Jets- MICHAEL BUSH Leon Washington is very good, but he is not really starting material. Bush was a heisman candidate with loads of talent. He could be one of the steals of the draft. #26.) Philadelphia Eagles- REGGIE NELSON Michael Lewis\'s play is really dropping and Dawkins isn\'t getting any younger. Nelson is a playmaker in the secondary who could eventually evolve into a Brian Dawkins Jr. #27.) Baltimore Ravens- LAWRENCE TIMMONS Adalius Thomas is a FA, Ray Lewis is getting up there in age. Timmons has loads of talent, and with the help of Billick he could become another all-pro Raven Line Backer. #28.) San Diego Chargers- ROBERT MEACHEM The Chargers could use another target besides Gates. Mccardell is decent, Parker is average. Meachem is a big reciever who will be that other threat for Phillip \"Flowing\" Rivers. #29.) New Orleans Saints- QUINN PITCOCK The Saints DTs are old and average. Pittcock maybe be a bit undersized, but the guy plays with a very high motor. #30.) New England Patriots- JEFF SAMARDZIJA I can only think of 4 of the Patriot\'s Wide Recievers (Jackson, Gaffney, Brown, Caldwell). Samardzija a tall reciever who is like a skinnier Eddy Mccaferey. #31.) Chicago Bears- JOSH BEEKMAN The Bears o-line is aging and could use some depth. Beekman is a solid all around guard who could start in Chi-town for years to come. #32.) Indianapolis Colts- BUSTER DAVIS Cato June is a Free Agent and Buster Davis has Colts written all over him. The guy is 5\'10, but he\'d still knock anyone\'s block off. He definitely has all the athletic tools needed at the next level.
  20. Can someone with ESPN Insider please give me some information on who those a-hole "experts" think the Bills will take. Thank you, and have a happy Tuesday!
