Sitting here right now I see 2nd contracts for the 1st 6 listed. Several pro bowls and maybe a couple all pro selections out of that group -
Rd 5, Pick 141: C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger

I really would like to see the rookie win the job. Mcgovern is back to starting LG. But if not let him learn this year and McGovern csn hold down the fort He is 100% pure center -
Beane said if Hyde with his neck issues want to play he will talk with him. I'll be honest, I only want him as a backup/ coach. His and poyers play really went down over the last 2 years. Let the younger guys start and rotate Hyde in. Hell I say offer him a coaching gig if and when he hangs it up

He told you it wasn't going to happen. There comes a time you gotta quit looking to FA'S and trades and play your own. -

Good post. Everything points to an immature 21/22 year old. He has had some time to possibly grow up. Most fans seem to miss Beane knows all about his issues and surely talked to his agent then Chase himself. I would imagine Beane being dang straight with him. I am seeing Beane be more and more like the way Pioli operated in NE. -
Nope. And some of it should be still allowed.

I for one hope he said POP and pulled his head out. He is 25 now and hopefully he has realized this is it. I posted something about the start of the offseason that really broke down bradys scheme and I liked it. He has a lot of what Peyton ran in NO when Breese put up 5000 yards each year. One point I liked is his plays always have an option put to drop the ball off if Allen gets in trouble. Dabols didnt.

We aren't running Dabols offense this season the way I understand it. It's Brady's that he ran at LSU While Ermsberger was named OC it was Bradys offense esp the passing scheme. Brady has inpute into who we are bringing in and we are bringing in more bigger guys than in the past. They said we will be running Bradys system and even Josh is open to change. It won't be Dabols system any longer that we run.

CRAP! I forgot Samuel and he was the guy I pushed for this offseason. -
They want BIG and Athletic. Speed is good, don't get me wrong, but they are seeming to push for big, physical WR's and that is what Joe Brady had his year as OC with HIS offense down at LSU. No more getting bullied at the LOS, and hopefully a lot more contested balls. It also brings a greater Catch radius for Allen to hit on when his passes are slightly off. Look I get it, Fans want splash they want exciting and we tried that with smaller, faster WR's and it didn't work. I am excited to see this new approach to be honest, and if we get the running game going, then we are going to see somewhat less exciting 8, 10,12+ play drives that eat the clock and keep guys like Mahomes and Kelce on the bench and hopefully lead to more TD's.

I like the signing. I have to ignore most of the board after FA signings and draft picks as you guys would, as my Grandpa used to say, "B word if you were hung with a new rope" Honest to God, if we had traded to #4 and all 3 top WR's were there you guys would complain on which one we took. Then we paid too much, blah blah blah LOL But thats also why I love this board, if everyone agreed life would be borking. As its been said, he is only 25 guys, and for Beane to give him a 1 year deal and bring him into the locker room, Claypool must have convinced McBeane he has changed. If he has, holy **** what a talent. If not, Bye felecia. Let try to be positive shall we? IF he can work out my God we have a good WR room. Shakir, Coleman, and a Claypool that pulled his head out? Wow. Thats what I got. I have a really good feeling about Javon Solomon. I get Dwight Freeny vibes off him.
