You do understand the repercussions of changing HC now right? The time it takes to transition to a new set of coaches, with new philosophies etc. It would be a few years setback and who even knows if they do better than what we have. Mc D is a very good coach.

You can't prove that. You haven't watched all "top coaches" (and what comprises a top coach anyway?) games within the same period of time as McD. There just isn't a way to quantify this. Just stop. The flack this coach gets is mindboggling. Oh i was screaming to decline it, thinking they'll try a long kick. What I wasn't thinking is that the Rams could NOT kick, and get the first down. We're asking the coach to be 100% perfect all the time. And, making those pressured decisions within seconds, while we can all sit back afterwards, bat the different scenarios around, then call him out, after having the time to think things through. I just think a lot of fans are being WAY unreasonable with McD. It's like ANY decision the guy makes HAS to be proven correct with gameplay, otherwise we should get a new coach. Its ridiculous imo.

What doesn't seem to get reported are the times he doesn't "choke in the clutch". Some of you expect 100% perfection, which just isn't reasonable. All play calls are successful based upon percentages. Some coaches make bad decisions on plays, yet they turn out well. Some make great decisions on plays, which don't turn out well. Its the ones that don't turn out well that get criticized. And ALL coaches make them, and without the hindsight and extra time given to the Monday Morning qb.

The adjustments were made. But sometimes you don’t have the personnel to match. Pair that with perfect passes from Stafford, and Nacuas talent, and you see the result. Not everything can be blamed on coaching.

He truly is a phenom. I can't recall, in my 46 years watching another QB do what he does. Consistently. True cyborg, and extremely deserving of great things in life. All that, and he's a gentleman, humble, and likeable.

I hear ya. But when is our D letting up even close to this many points in a game? I think we rebound hard this weekend. McD and crew is always seemingly great after a big loss. Fingers crossed.

This. we lost. Our D played blah. But that won’t happen every game. This one was an anomaly, and it doesn’t help that Stafford, Nacua and Cupp were on fire. We have one of the best players, let alone our qb, to have ever played the game. He, along with our offense, can and will our score most teams on any given day. Allen is beyond generational.

He did in my opinion. He played well compared, and I watched him make some nice tackles solo. People just like to hate him for some reason.
