Ok, Here's the deal. I'm a lifelong bills fan from the Horseheads/Elmira/Corning area. I've been to 2 Bills games, Jacksonville Wildcard game in '96, and the Tenn/Buffalo home opener in '00. I'm currently living in Detroit and will be meeting a friend in Cleveland who is a Texans fan. We will be up there mid Saturday afternoon. He has never been to Buffalo, so the plan is to: Go to Niagara Falls (the canadian side, of course) and to hit up the Anchor Bar in downtown Buffalo. After that, probably retire to an inexpensive hotel and play some madden. The question is: Where to stay? I'm looking for a reasonable hotel within a quick drive of the stadium that isn't a crap hole. I also would appreciate any info about good tailgates going on (I remeber reading somewhere there's a TBD one going on...). Also, both Bills games I went to were with my Dad, and I haven't been there in 5 years, so I can't remember where the best parking was. Any advice would be great! Matt

The Texans are a team that should command respect. Their D is suspect, they ranked 13th in rushing yards allowed, 22nd in passing, and 23rd overall, so Buffalo SHOULD be able to grind out 3 TDs. Their Offense is very dangerous, and should not be taken lightly. Davis is an improving back, and Carr is likley entering a breakout year.

Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana. Outside of Cincinatti and the part of Indiana thats close to chicago...I can't think of any reasons to live there. The midwest (sans michigan, which is a beautiful state sans downtown detroit), is the bastard step child of the North and the South. The bad parts of the north (crappy on again, off again winters, rudeness) and hte South (rednecks, inability to drive in snow, a general feeling of inadaqueteness, causing them to brag about how great their state is, etc) crammed into one area. Move North (NY, MI, PA) or South (VA, SC, NC, GA) but dear God, DON'T move to the midwest.

The Eagles have a better D than any that Losman has to see yet. He's not going to see a decent d until week 2.

Sigh, Casinos in Syrace, Olean, Niagra Falls, Brantford, Ont, Atlantic City, NJ, Conneticut....where exactly are they going to bring the tourist from? You really want to bring tourists in....make a poker room...a big, two floor, 100 table poker room. With a high rollers area with high stakes games to lure players all over the north east. Not as profitable....much less overhead, good, guaranteed jobs, you could start big poker tounries in the area...and advertise the hell out of it Host a few big tournies a year...this really isn't a bad idea.
