  1. I just wanted to give everyone a quick reminder that, not only must Buffalo win these games, but beating two Ohio teams is a moral victory. Why? Well, lets start the list... Why I hate Ohio: #1. Ohio Drivers. I've said it before. Two inches of snow on Ohio roads is 10 times more dangerous than 10 inches in Buffalo. People here are afraid of the snow, combine that with the statewide epidemic of terrible driving during nice whether and underfunded road crews, even in the Cleveland area, you have a recipe for a horrible experience everytime it snows. #2. Ohio Inferiority Complex. Almost everytime I bring up my complaints about the Buckeye state with an Ohioian, they take a serious amount of offense, usually telling me that 'What can you do in NY that you can't do in Ohio?' I normally rattle off a list of about 20 things without even thinking, which just gets an angry/confused response from them. When it comes to sports, a few examples I like to bring up. Such as, the Columbus Blue Jackets like to think of the Detroit Red Wings as their rival. Ask any Red Wings fans what he thinks of the CBJ/Red Wings 'rivalry' they just laugh. Don't rivalry's have to be more than just one sided? Ask a Michigan fan who their chief rival is....guess what the answer is. MSU. NOT OSU. Unless of course you ask a Michigan fan who has lived in Ohio their whole life, which for some reason their seems to be an unhealthy number of. The reason the OSU/Michigan rivalry gets played up so much? The Ohioians. #3. Ohio climate. I like to describe Ohio as the 'combination of all the bad parts of the north and south', and not just in weather. You have droves of Nascar inbreds down here, but no southern hospitality or southern belles. You have a winter full of cold rain, but few snow accumulations, more ice and slush. Between Sept. and May, you have alternating 60 degree days and 30 degree days. Ohio has taken fall, winter, and spring and combined them into one freakish season. To quote Lewis Black "Its not weather...its malaria" #4. And finally, let me say this. For the 5 months leading up to election, Ohio received what some have described as the 'biggest political blowjob' in history. Ohioians were told how important they are, and how the office of president will take care of Ohio if you vote for so and so. However, since the election, you have not heard one peep about Ohio in ANY major news station. As a matter of fact, I have deemed it the safest place to live, simply because I don't think many people woud care if a terrorist blew up half the state. Please Buffalo, kick the sh-- out of the Ohio football teams. Why such a crappy state has two NFL teams, I don't know. But i hate it here, and nothing would make me happier than to mock all the sh-- eating buckeye fans till i'm blue in the face. This place is truly the crap hole of america. I want to wear my Andre Reed jersey to a local bar and patronize them all. I want to remind them that, even if OSU can get lucky once every 50 years, there will never be an Ohio based super bowl champion. Never.
  2. Since there will be at least something for Pittsburgh to play for in week 16, it was good to see the blueprint put forward by the Jags. #1. Beat them at their own game. Run the ball, control the clock. #2. Make them throw the ball. Letting them run you over is the way to a quick loss. Buffalo needs to run the schedule. That is obvious. Beating Pittsburgh is a must.
  3. Brady is a system QB on a great team. He's in the perfect system for his talents. I'm not saying he's not a good QB, but put him in, lets say in Cleveland for the past 3 years....he maybe would have had one good year.
  4. Every game is a playoff game for the rest of the season. Buffalo needs to finish 10-6 just for a CHANCE at a playoff game. My predictions: Week 13: Pittsburgh over Jacksonville (6-6) Week 14 Buffalo over Cleveland (7-6) Denver over Miami (8-5) Baltimore over NYG (8-5) Jacksonville over Chicago (7-6) New England over Cincy (6-7) Week 15 Buffalo over Cincy (8-6) KC over Denver (8-6) Indy over Baltimore (8-6) Jacksonville over GB (8-6) Hoooooly cow, what a race we have. Tenn over Denver (8-7) Pitt over Baltimore (8-7) Jacksonville over Houston (9-6) Buffalo over San Fran (9-6) And the final week: Buffalo OVER a resting Pittsburgh (10-6) Jacksonville over Oakland (10-6) We run the schedule. And the loss to Jax hurts 10x more than we ever thought it would. Though, a few upsets or injuries would drastically change the look of the race.
  5. Or every 'ooo' and 'ahhh' everytime Tom Brady makes a routine play
  6. How is needing to win out AND needing teams to lose in good shape? Buffalo is on the Bubble.
  7. Holy crap. Ricky Williams is retiring to become Santa Claus. On a side note, one of the funniest things I've ever seen: In a mall in Uganda last christmas (don't ask why i was there, but i was) they had a black santa claus. However, it wasn't a fat black guy in in a white beard and a suit, it was a tall, skinny black guy in a white plastic halloween mask. About laughed my head off.
  8. Anyone else notice the insane improvement of the O-line since the Baltimore game? Bledsoe has only been sacked 4 times in the last 5 games. And thats with teams trying to blitz the junk out of Bledsoe. All hail McNally, master of all O-Line coaches!
  9. There goes the best free parking for Sabres games. Oh well.
  10. I really don't understand those who want to trade moulds. #1. He is still an elite receiever. #2. He demands a double team, thus improving the whole offense. (see Philly's offense after TO got there) #3. Buffalo already has quite a bit of cap room. If we were headed to cap hell, then yes, trade/let him go. Overall, Moulds has dropped a few passes. However, his game has suffered from drew's 'Mould's lock' and the overall poorness of the playcalling. Evans is a great WR, but only time will tell if he is a franchise wide-out. Buffalo needs to get rid of Henry and bledsoe.
  11. I'm just hoping they win a road game! (continue with the impression)
  12. haha. On a side note: does anyone remember when they showed Bledsoe in the pocket and he went too long and they were like 'He's just holding onto it too long' then like 2 seconds later they showed brady hold onto it for longer than bledsoe and starting saying how great brady is and 'look at the poise' and said nothing of the fact he held it for too long?
  13. I guess thats what happens when you take hockey away from hockeytown. Shame on you NHL, shame.
  14. If you look closely, it has a picture of the bills away jersey with a circle that says 'good' and a picture of the pats jersery with a cross through it that says 'Do Not throw too'
  15. Buffalo is out of the playoffs already. No way they run the tables or go 7-1 to finish the season. However, if Buffalo finishes .500 (goes 5-3) or even 9-7, it would be a great setup for next season. If Bledsoe can play error free football and the offensive line continues to protect him, I have no problem with him starting next season. Young QBs need time to learn and JP has lost half a season to injury. Buffalo has a championship defense for this year and next and if the offense can be respectable behind Drew, I don't see much reason to start JP. Bledsoe showed me something in the Jets game, if he has a strong supporting cast, he can be as effective as any QB in the league. Its when he tries to win games by himself (ala the Baltimore game) when he gets in trouble.
  16. Buffalo suprises the NE defense by coming out with a strong running game and burning the NE Secondary with alot of play action passes in the 2nd half. McGahee will have a great game on National TV and Travis Henry will break a big run in the 2nd half further sparking the Buffalo Running Back controversey. Final Score? Buffalo 34, Pats 17. Also, to the delight of football fans everywhere, NE will get a bad call against them late in the 3rd quarter, allowing Buffalo to put the game away.
  17. No, thats a penalty too. Breaking Tom Brady's nails, defense. Half the distance to the goal (from anywhere on the field)
  18. First off, don't buy a console for only one game, even though Halo/Halo 2 are the class when it comes to FPS. The Xbox has a great DVD player and if you have any technical know how, you can mod it and do almost a whole junkload of stuff, including uploading your DivX, Mp3s, and even ripping Xbox games onto a hard drive and playing them.
  19. Really? I'm in the dayton area and it was on. Oh, and the Bengals Cheerleaders came to the BW3's where i was watching it at. 2 pts for me
  20. For a team that has yet to win a road game, 9-7 is being very generous. If Buffalo can finish at .500, it'd be a miracle. 6-2 down the strech is tough, even for the leagues best teams. If they can finish 3-2 on the road and 2-1 at home, I think most Bills fans would be very happy.
  21. Just curious if anyone knew if McGahee is elgible for offensive rookie of the year.
  22. What about Travis AND Drew to the Cowboys for their 1st rounder. Hmmmm
  23. Can anyone else remember a drive this season where Buffalo just controlled the ball and took 7 minutes off the clock? I can't. To cap it off with the evans TD was just amazing. Congrats Buffalo, I am officially interested in the season again.
