  1. I agree, they have moved away from pass first. Their passing offense still needs to be effective. Unless this ground chuck method wins a SB, it could be Sean’s undoing. The best qb in football won’t stick around or back this coach while his talent is wasted.
  2. Good thing we got this guy. The idiot Steelers traded for Kyle Dugger. 🤪
  3. This trend won’t last. Do I construct an offense which gives my best player, the greatest chance of success? Or do I create one that makes said star —less effective? Get your head right Brady.
  4. The Bills passing game is sub-standard. This falls on Brady and McDermott; Brady for his simplistic concepts, and Sean for watching the bus crashing but taking no action. This offense looks like ground Chuck (Knox). That guy never won a championship with that formula.
  5. Something is definitely off with Allen. I think he is injured and mind fu@ked. The sack he took deep in panther territory today was brutal. He’s holding the ball too long, allowing himself to get hemmed in, and making poor decisions. It is deeply concerning. It ended well today, thanks in large part to the defense and the running game. He is not in Super Bowl form. However the offense has been re-booted, it does not showcase his talent. A mediocre Allen will not beat a good team (like KC) in the playoffs. Pray he heals and gets through this shite which is affecting his performance. If the defense is turning a corner, that is a consolation.
  6. No, it’s like my old man used to say: they are sooo smart——they are stupid.
  7. Wilson has had a very good NFL career, getting 121, 130 and 97 tackles in 22’- 24’. Played 11 games last year owing to injury. Wilson signed a $36M deal in 2023 that averages $9M per year. The Bills would need to shed salary to get him. He would deliver what Milano used to deliver.
  8. It is time. Will Beane and McDermott play it smart or stay on disconnect, which in my view explains the lack of action on the safety position, the return of White Ridiculous. Instead of bringing in better players for our ***** secondary, we see fossils and rigid adherence to mediocrity in the name of familiarity. If no one can operate your defense Sean, then it’s no good. There isn’t a safety on the roster that is a starter. Give Taron a shot, how could it be worse? The two highlight reel tackle attempts on Henry and Robinson say it all. Beane has failed to bring in defensive talent despite all the draft capital expended.
  9. Despite a disastrous first half that was a toe away from a 21 point deficit, the Bills were still in the game. After cutting the deficit to 7, the Buffalo offense had three drives fail. James Cook on the sidelines on third down. McDermott needed to go for it on fourth down, instead he trusts his defense more. Same old sh’t. Instead of trusting the best player in the league, he trusts his failed defense. Why not pass to James cook as buttress against the blitz. Our receivers play all over the field. Why not play Shakir outside and Coleman inside, to open things up? Take it to the defense, why always be reactive? I swear Brady gets mental constipation when the offense stumbles. Josh’s play didn’t doom the bills, poor coaching did. Brady called a brain dead game and McD played scared.
  10. Up: Cook’s non-use in high leverage situations likely forced a reckoning between Coach McD and OC Brady. The losing streak went to the bye like creating a sense of urgency to address personnel and scheme shortcomings by McD and Beane. The Bills received the gift of desperation; getting beat by two lessor teams who took advantage of their undisciplined and complacent play. Down: The secondary is a disaster but McD brings in washed up former players instead talented athletes. Josh has happy feet. The OC has called some ***** games this year. The DC can’t motivate or fix the leaky defense.
  11. The neutering of Josh Allen’s wild side has lowered the number of turnovers, as well as splash plays. McDermott wants complementary football, code for heavy run, low risk passing. Last night the Bills needed to go for it on fourth down to jump start the offense. But we kept giving the ball back to the falcons. They could have won with only half a game of solid play, but Sean got scared and Joe Brady was in a daze. Third and short and Cook goes to the sideline. They are short receivers and yet Cook isn’t used as a receiver. He could have easily changed the outcome of the evening. What a wasted opportunity.
  12. They are one and the same. Knox lost three championship games as coach of the Rams and one in Buffalo. Successful coach, even great on many sundays, but he couldn’t get past the championship game. Much like our current situation. Knox never had a great quarterback on any of his teams. They played complementary football, along with “ground chuck”. McDermott on the other hand, has football’s best QB and wants him to play like Trent Dilfer. WTF is wrong with this picture? McD and Beane are not on the same page. Beane tries to get too cute with his drafts.
  13. “Poor Defensive Performance The Eagles' defense allowed a franchise-high 31 touchdown passes during the season. They had the worst red-zone defense in the NFL, which contributed to their struggles. Inconsistent Team Performance Despite a 10-6 record and a playoff appearance, the Eagles were eliminated in the first round. The defense allowed at least 24 points in 11 games, raising concerns about its effectiveness”—ESPN McDermott took over a bliz heavy scheme from Jim Johnston. By the end, he was moving away from that, wanting pressure from his front four. That theory, remains in action most games now. My point about his use of personnel is germane to our current situation. I admit that was not clear in my whine. Regardless, Jordan Poyer is not the answer. Signing Micah Hyde last year, instead of trading for a safety —-did not solve the problem. Did you notice Rapp make any big plays? Me neither.
  14. This soft AF defense and McDermott’s stubbornness about his precious (system ) is why Andy Reid fired him. He has tunnel vision when it comes to players, always choosing system guys over athletes. We need a new safety. Rapp is crapp. Bring one in, coach him up and live with it. Darrick Forrest is on Indy’s practice squad, I’m sure there are others.
  15. It’s so complicated it runs like a Swiss watch run over by a herd of rhinos.
