The issue isn't Allen. He has played very well in the playoffs. It's the defense. I mentioned this before but I really hope the moves Beane made to improve the D are successful as the entire season depends on it. If not then expect more of the same. Division title, a win on WC weekend, then bounced in either the divisional round or AFCCG. Another year wasted of Allen's career. It's like watching groundhog day with the Beane/McDermott Bills every year.

The Jets have played the Bills tough at MetLife in recent seasons. Even in the Bills 23-20 win last year there the Jets missed 2 FG's and an extra point. I would expect the Bills will have another tough game with them when they go there in week 2.

That would be 1964 and 1965. The only championships in the Bills history. For me it doesn't count personally since I wasn't born yet but 64 and 65 have to be at the top of the list for the Bills and fans who were alive then.

If I remember correctly wasn't Cook on the bench during the final drive against KC in the AFCCG.

If they can get by the Ravens. The AFCW is stronger this year. I hope someone takes the division from KC. I am tired of the Chiefs getting the #1 seed most years. This year I do think the Ravens will be the Bills biggest challenge in the playoffs.

Maybe McDermott gives up control of the defense and hires a DC with a completely different style of defense from McDermott's. I wish Terry would insist Sean does this. Like you said his defenses have been getting torched in the playoffs and I don't see it changing unless the Bills can finally get pressure on the QB with their front 4 and also do a better job against the run. Hoping all the moves Beane made to fix this pay off. The season is basically riding on it along with continued great play from #17.

More in the media have been calling McDermott out. Maybe it will get to the point where Terry does something about that. Not that I expect it will happen anytime soon.

Depressed especially when you consider Allen plays well in the playoffs.

I have the Ravens vs Lions in the Super Bowl. I hope I am wrong about my AFC pick but I think the Ravens have one of the best rosters in the league and they will prove to be the best team in the AFC.

Go Zach Wilson. Lions second team defense had the most dominant series of 7-on-7s I’ve ever seen. Three plays: - Ian Kennelly INT - Erick Hallett near INT - Nick Whiteside INT Rough series from QB Zach Wilson

It seems like this is said every year but at some point I would hope they value WR and go get one in the 1st round. What we have now isn't bad but it isn't great either. Imagine if Josh had someone like Garrett Wilson to throw to.

https://www.sportico.com/feature/nfl-team-values-ranking-list-1234684165/ Cowboys top the list at 12.8 billion. The Bills are worth 5.87 billion. It must be nice owning an NFL team which is a giant cash cow as the NFL is the most popular sport in America and who is growing their fanbase overseas.

Preseason Week 2 - Post Updates HereGregg replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall I would imagine Beane will bring in a kicker especially when cuts around the league happen if this injury with Bass is more serious then what is being reported.

When you factor in the Bills WR corps is average at best then getting Cook signed was a must. He is the closest we have to an elite level player at the skill position besides #17.
-
He is up there as well.
