Another one - Trey Hendrickson asks for a trade from Cincy
Gregg replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the Bills case they are close. If the Bills could get Hendrickson (I doubt the Bengals trade him here) then that could be the move that puts them over the top and they bring a Lombardi to WNY. Of course there is always the risk it doesn't work. I agree with you about the draft. Beane needs to hit a HR with a strong draft class for DL. The lack of pass rush has hurt this team for years now and its one of the main reasons the Bills have yet to play in a Super Bowl. -
Probably could say the same thing about McDermott. To be fair no GM/HC will look good without a QB. See Bill as an example of that when he went from the GOAT to Jones.
-
With this being a strong draft class for DL I don't see a trade with the Bengals either. Like you said the Bengals probably wouldn't trade him to the Bills anyway. I do think the Bills will still focus on DL in the draft. Not just for next year but for the long-term future as well.

Congrats Kyle Williams, new DL coach of the LSU Tigers
Gregg replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope Kyle gets his day with the Bills and gets put on the Bills Wall of Fame. -
It would be funny if he signs with the Giants and leads them to the playoffs. That would piss Jets fans off. If he signs with the Steelers as the rumors say, then I could see a Steelers at Jets week 1 on MNF since Pitt plays at MetLife this year.

Free agency is more fun than the draft !!
Gregg replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
True but the Bills have a lot of picks this draft. I wonder if they package some of them to move up if there is a player they really want. -

I actually prefer the draft. The 1st round especially. FA is nice but teams are built thru the draft. -
The next Bills receiver they get will come from this draft.

They were the defending two-time offseason champions, but this offseason reality has set in. Jets fans I know think this is the beginning of another rebuild. Even the NY media isn't hyping them up like they were the past couple of years.
-
This is supposed to be a strong draft class for DL, so I expect the Bills to select one or two of them. Have to build for the long-term future as well not just next year.

Let's see how this plays out starting in Sept thru January and hopefully February.

The Black Friday game is a regular thing now. If Goodell had his way, there would be NFL games on every day of the week.

Much younger. Von turns 36 this year. Bosa will turn 30. -
With the Bosa signing do you think the Bills still go DL in Rd 1 or will now go CB or WR. I still think they will go DL, but I am not sure it will be Rd 1.
-
Or the "Black Friday" game after Thanksgiving. If the Bills do get a primetime spot on Thanksgiving weekend, then hopefully it's a home game on Friday so everyone can still do the family thing on Thanksgiving.

What's not to like. When healthy he is a game changer which is something we desperately need on that side of the ball. Injuries with him are a factor but the risk isn't much given it's only a 1-year deal. Bosa is going to be in for a big shock when he plays his first home game in OP. Going from a market that really doesn't care about football and a team with very little fans to football crazed Buffalo. Sellout crowds and the fans cheering for him at home. Bosa isn't used to that being a former Charger. -
I haven't seen other sources report it yet and I don't know how reliable this source is but.... CTESPN always has it first Deal is finalized… Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers 2 year deal….#CTESPN most trusted source in all of sports https://t.co/VYQcpWFhPn — AB (@AB84) March 11, 2025

You just reminded me of Mark Gastineau.

I work for a wire and cable company (Okonite) so we were considered necessary since we deal with a lot of utility companies (PSE&G, Con Ed) as examples. I remember driving back and forth from home and work. Hardly anybody was on the road as everything was closed. Strange times indeed.

With the Broncos and Chargers getting better hopefully they can each get a game off the Chiefs. Even if the Chiefs win the division hopefully, they have enough losses to where they aren't the #1 seed. As for the Ravens they are always in a 4-way fight in the AFCN. All 4 teams hate each other as all the games are extremely physical. I am assuming the Chiefs and Ravens will be the main competition for the #1 seed.

I am surprised MetLife ranked so low. Both teams are horrible, and the stadium is bland, but the tailgating is good as they have a huge parking lot that goes all around the stadium. It's setup for tailgating which a lot of stadiums are not. I have always enjoyed the tailgating at Giants Stadium/MetLife.

I definitely want to see the Bills give Allen another weapon in the passing game, but the defense needs a lot of help before next season starts. I am guessing defense in the early rounds. WR in the later rounds.
